When you get three people who know almost everyone in the industry to jump on a podcast this is what happens. The Cannabis Power Hour will be a weekly event with the ever present Ophelia Chong, the master of Hash Bones Carl Saling III and your host the digital media guy Danny Keith.
Listen as we traverse how cannabis has become an essential business in the state…or has it. Regulation is strangling the industry, taxation is driving customers to the illicit market all while allowing counties and cities to determine IF there should be an industry within their area. It seems like we have some great ideas around how the restructure of how the cannabis industry can possibly be reshaped as the rest of the United States looks to California to set the standard.
Ophelia poignantly states we need to come out of Covid-19 lockdown with the intent to do no harm, Danny gives the analogy of coming out of the Haunted House and looking at the next person in line saying…just you wait. The trio also talks about the CBD everything craze, apparently we may be developing CBD toilet paper “To calm yo ass down!”.
