Hey there, I'm back with another episode of "Building Unapologetically," and I'm so pumped for part two of our Ask Me Anything (AMA) series. Your questions have been fire, and your engagement keeps this journey alive. As we hit the two-month mark on this podcast, a huge shoutout to each one of you – your support means the world. Let’s hop on the four questions I have for today’s episode.

Question 1: Business Lessons and Insights - What would I do differently?

  • Alright, so someone asked if I'd do anything differently in my business journey. Here's the scoop – every twist, turn, and hurdle has been part of a divine plan. But let me drop some wisdom – always invest in your growth. From day one, I hired a coach, and that move shaped my business path. Another crucial lesson I've learned is to ensure that amidst the noise of expert advice and external influences, you never lose sight of your own vision for your business.

Question 2: Balancing Life as a Wife, Friend, and Entrepreneur

  • This is a topic that resonates with many of us. Finding balance can be challenging, and I agree that there's no such thing as a perfect balance. One of the strategies I've implemented is having a designated day for myself. At first, I called it my 'CEO wellness day,' then my 'healing day,' and now I refer to it as my 'desire day.' On this day, I focus on doing things that bring me joy and recharge my energy. It could be anything from shooting content, recording the podcast, getting a massage, or simply enjoying a peaceful moment alone.

Question 3: Have Your Relationships Changed Since Starting Your Business?

  • While my business journey has been transformative, my relationships have remained relatively unchanged. However, what has shifted is my appreciation for time. As an entrepreneur, time becomes a valuable commodity, which means less room for casual hangouts or spontaneous meetups. To navigate this transition, I’ve had to focus on clear communication and setting boundaries. I've realized that it's okay to prioritize myself and my business without feeling guilty or obligated to always be available. This has been vulnerable to admit, so I hope it helps someone!

Question 4: Tips for Creating Content in December

  • As we enter the holiday season and the final stretch of the year, creating compelling content can be both exciting and challenging. Platforms are placing a greater emphasis on originality and authenticity, so consider incorporating video content, day-in-the-life snippets, behind-the-scenes footage, and photo dumps. Sharing your personal reflections, lessons learned, and goals for the upcoming year can also resonate well with your audience. If you find yourself wanting to take a break during the holidays, consider batching your content in advance.

Alright, thanks for being part of the Building Unapologetically community. We're two months deep, and I'm feeling the love. Show some more by dropping a review wherever you are listening to the show and sharing your thoughts. Let's keep growing, nurturing relationships, and creating content that screams authenticity. Wishing you a week filled with love, joy, and purpose.
