In the Paris Olympic Games Women’s Rugby 7s: Australia 34-5 South Africa, Fiji 14-17 Canada, New Zealand 43-5 China, Australia 26-5 Great Britain, Fiji 12-40 China would you believe and New Zealand 33-7 Canada.
So it looks like Fijiana 7s are out of the medal play-offs already!

In Rugby League: The Dolphins made a dream start as Tevita Pangai Junior scored the opening try of the game in the fourth minute, and they didn’t take long to double it, with nippy halfback Isaiya Katoa’s sleight of hand putting Jesse Bromwich over as Wayne Bennett’s men went out to a 14-0 lead.
But the Gold Coast Titans surged to claim a stunning 21-14 comeback win at Suncorp Stadium yesterday afternoon.
Meanwhile, South Sydney may as well kiss their NRL finals hopes goodbye after the Canberra Raiders smashed them 32-12, after shooting out to an 18-0 lead in the first 20 minutes of the game.
In UFC: Belal Muhammad upstaged UFC Welterweight Champion Leon Edwards in UFC304 main event, putting on a grappling masterclass to dethrone the hometown hero in Manchester, England, executing his game plan to perfection as he took Edwards down on nine of 13 attempts to largely control the fight from start to finish.
In Football: Paris Olympics Women’s group stage games – Japan 2-1 Brazil, Columbia 2-0 New Zealand, Zambia 5-3 Australia and Spain 0-0 Nigeria both games into the second half. Men Japan 1-0 Mali, France 1-0 Guinea, USA 4-1 New Zealand, Paraguay 4-2 Israel.
