next generation.
● Church, marriage, family, & truth are all on the
chopping block.
● Today we are fed this “do what you want” agenda
that is opposite christianity’s assignment of
denying yourself & serving others.
1 Thes 2:13 For this reason we also thank God without
ceasing, because when you received the word of God
which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word
of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also
effectively works in you who believe.
● They heard the Word - selective hearing or paying
attention
● They received the Word - daydreaming or meditating
● They welcomed the Word - critical Carl or faith
● They became imitators of the Word - doer or hearer
only
● The Word began to work in their lives.
○ It became operative, productive, functioning
○ (TPT) And the word continues to be an
energizing force in you who believe.

Rom 10:13 For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD
shall be saved.”14 How then shall they call on Him in
whom they have not believed? And how shall they
believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how
shall they hear without a preacher?
● Preach the Word
● Hear the Word
● Believe in Him
● Call on Him
● You’re saved!
