Artificial intelligence is unlike anything humanity has ever created—its potential for exploitation is massive. If wielded with bad intent, it could dismantle consumer protections and consolidate power in ways that should terrify us all. And yet, I still think you should use it.

In this episode, I dive deep into what I believe the fast-approaching AI dystopia could actually look like. Forget Skynet and Terminators—for now, the real danger lies in how companies could use AI to understand you on such an intimate level that they not only predict your behavior but subtly shape it. And the scariest part? You might never realize it's happening.

Consumer protections in the U.S. and around the world are woefully unprepared for the speed and scale of this technology. That slow adaptation leaves a dangerous gap, one ripe for exploitation by bad actors.

Is this episode a massive tonal shift from episode one? Yuuuup. But hey, I’m experimenting here—throwing spaghetti at the wall and figuring out what sticks. Thanks for bearing with me as I explore what this show can be, and as always, thanks for joining me on this audio adventure.

Thank you to Second Suitor for the use of our theme song Get It off of their 2018 album Safe Space.

Special thanks to Brandon Chrysler for editing the show. I appreciate you man and couldn't do this without you. Hit up Brandon for all your audio editing and post produciton needs: blc9918@gmail.com.
