It’s one of the final Feel Good Fridays of summer but the Mets had a Thursday only the Mets are capable of having. Boomer says the Mets created their own fiasco. Gio doesn’t have a big problem with the “Hawk Tuah” girl throwing out the first pitch but agrees that the Mets made their bed on this one. Gio thinks the moral police are taking this too far but also says the Mets should have been more aware of what the reaction would be. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and begins with the awful Mets loss. A Phillies rookie became the first rookie to ever hit for the cycle. MLB is considering a 6 inning minimum for starting pitchers. There was a miscommunication on the Patriots preseason broadcast and new head coach Jerod Mayo took a shot at Matthew Judon. Mike Tomlin is going to get his first look at Russell Wilson. Shannon Sharpe is not so sure about one of Oscar De La Hoya’s theories and neither are we.
