Hour 1

Gio is back in studio and happy just like Yankee fans are after Juan Soto hit three home runs last night. Gio is concerned that the Yankees will lose Soto. Boomer says the Mets wasted an opportunity to gain ground in the last week. The Mets have to stop the bleeding immediately. The Mets probably won’t go on a run because their pitching isn’t good enough. Boomer remembers an old cliche about pitching that possibly started with Connie Mack. Boomer thinks Gio and others at the radio station are too negative. Jerry is here for his first update of the day but first Boomer quizzes Gio and Jerry on some sports business figures. The Knicks and Rangers playoff runs made MSG a billion dollars. NFL teams make so much money and Boomer wants that to go to the players. Juan Soto crushed three home runs last night and the Yankees beat the White Sox. What teams will make $500 million offers to Soto? Malik Nabers has no doubt he will be ready for week 1. In the final segment of the hour, a listener sent Boomer a Precious Achiuwa rookie card and Gio replays a great point from BT about where Robert Saleh should be when it comes to Aaron Rodgers.

Hour 2

Al’s question to Aaron Rodgers about the Malaysian Air conspiracy has gone viral in the conspiracy community. This could be Al’s crowning achievement. Jerry returns for an update but first we get a conspiracy update from Tom Izzo. Jerry begins with BT and Sal delivering another double entendre. Juan Soto hit three home runs but the White Sox walked him so he couldn’t get number four. Jazz Chisholm Jr. has a UCL injury and Boomer reminds us diving into any base is dangerous. Paul Blackburn struggled in his Citi Field debut. Gio says he would fight that voice but everyone else is not sure. Austin Adams mocked the Mets “OMG” celebration after escaping a jam. Jeff Francoeur told a great story about getting out of a spring training game to golf with Tiger Woods. What kind of dog would Daniel Jones be? Dan Marino made a bad financial decision when being compensated for Ace Ventura. Sam Rosen is retiring after this season. In the final segment of the hour, we continue to compare Daniel Jones to a dog and discuss how the Giants need more toughness. Boomer wants to see what Daniel Jones can do with more opportunity.

Hour 3

The Mets wake up from their nap. The Yankees have all the pieces needed to win but have to hope Jazz Chisholm’s injury isn’t serious. An overnight caller known for pushing buttons tries to get under Boomer’s skin. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Juan Soto’s big night in the Windy City. The Mets had another embarrassing loss, this one at home against the A’s. Austin Adams had fun at their expense. Gio can’t wait to see Malik Nabers in game action. How common is it for legends to be around their former teams? Sam Rosen will retire after his 40th season in the booth. We look at numbers 31-100 on the Top 100 Giants list. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer and Gio agree that Robert Saleh sounded different yesterday and that’s a good thing. Gio believes the adversity the Jets faced last year will help prepare them for this season.

Hour 4

The whole show will be together for four days next week and Boomer is realizing how many days of his life he is getting back now that he won’t be on The NFL Today. A caller is upset the Mets didn’t sell at the trade deadline since they are now coming back to earth but Boomer and Gio agree that was not really an option. SNY’s Kidcaster calls in with his dad. They want to know what he should wear when he calls an inning next week. Jerry is here for his final update of the day and begins with the positive, meaning the Yankees and Juan Soto. How does a cement truck overturn? That will lead to brutal traffic for Boomer and Gio on their drives home. Gio got stuck in the “Peter Schwartz-field” at Jets camp yesterday. T ...
