Ms. Mateo is Director of Community-Based Initiatives at the Center for Court Innovation/Brownsville Community Justice Center and her mission as an organizing and social service field professional is to develop, beautify, and improve NYC's business and residential districts, starting with her hometown of Brownsville, Brooklyn of course.
