Just like we all predicted, we’re on the verge of TWO series sweeps, as the Celtics sweep the Pacers out of the Eastern Conference Finals and punch their ticket to the Finals. Rob has coaching questions about how the Pacers chose not to foul down the line, and how that played out in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. And with the Gobert mismatch in the WCF, B-Dog wants to know why they are so reluctant to move him to the bench. And Jenners would like everyone to slow down on the whole “best backcourt in NBA history” narrative surrounding Kyrie and Luka, because until they win a ring it’s a pretty invalid conversation. Rob wants to know if the league is freaking out at the possibility of having a solid week off between the end of the conference finals and the start of the Finals. We also reflect on the life of Bill Walton, friend of the show, and weigh in on Rich Paul saying LeBron was a free agent. We also look back on NBA history as just 22 years ago this week we had Robert Horry’s iconic “Big Shot” moment against the Kings, something he still gets chills about to this day. Plus an inspiring Big Shot of the Week and another classic round of Rapid Fire.
