We are trying this new format where our titles highlight a specific discussion or a theme in the episode: this weeks selection was “What is a Savior?”. • @ 17:44 "Depression AND Christ" I was being facetious here and want to be clear bc this is the internet and y'all don't know me (yet)-- Being a Christian has made living with symptoms (depresh) of Bipolar a lot easier. I like jokes and the fact that I even felt the need to put this disclaimer here is really irritating for me internally lol
• I stopped the discussion surrounding what a savior is prematurely bc I want to bring someone (appropriate) on to help me (I was not doing it justice)
• Yes, we see the lipstick on my teeth
• So long as I manage social media, I will respond to any and all comments on the podcast... cuz... it's my show. But once we have the budget, I will not be reading comments bc clearly I am too sensitive
• Savior (Christian) = "In its highest sense the word indicates the relation sustained by our Lord to his redeemed ones, he is their Saviour. The great message of the gospel is about salvation and the Saviour. It is the "gospel of salvation." Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ secures to the sinner a personal interest in the work of redemption.
