Ben & Steve’s Video Store has opened for April! Join the two movie geeks in their store (probably the last one on Planet Earth), as they talk about lots of things connected to the wonderful world of movies, including
- Reviews of the biggest home releases for April, including Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker, Charlies Angels, Jumanji The Next Level and Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen
- The horror classic The Texas Chainsaw Massacre goes into The Disturbed Ward
- In ‘Ben & Steve’s Bonk-On’ we discuss the very unusual movie The Ninth Configuration, written and directed by William Peter Blatty
- This month’s Bargain Bin of the Month choice is between the two movie adaptations of Stephen King’s novel Pet Sematary
- In the 80’s – we look at the top 10 home video rentals in the USA in 1986
- In ‘So Bad, It’s Good’ we look at the campy sci-fi classic, Flash Gordon
On top of all that, we discuss the new trend of movies being rush released onto digital platforms because of Covid-19 as well as the usual mix of movie discussion and obscure TV themes from the 1980’s.
