Welcome back to The Hard Thing Podcast.

Today I share my conversation with Rob Dubin who was lost in the wilderness during a blizzard with no hope of rescue, but somehow was able to survive. Though he and his wife both survived the ordeal, they had to endure another hardship when they found out that his wife needed all of her fingers and toes amputated. Instead, they held on to hope and refused the amputation. Many months later, his wife's fingers and toes were completely recovered. Hear about how to keep hope in the dark moments and how to keep a bright outlook on life.

Some highlights:

  • Lessons on keeping hope alive
  • Lessons on learning how to be positive

Here are some action items from today's show:

1. Implement 1 thing from the LIVE HAPPY framework

2. Remember a time when you accomplished something you didn't think you could

Thanks for listening. Keep doing hard things and you will overcome average.
