Ian is once again joined by guest host John and in honour of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier coming to Disney+, we're comparing Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) to Captain America vol. 5 by Ed Brubaker. (The irony of discussing the tonal shift within the Marvel franchise an episode after discussing Persepolis is not lost on us).
Lessons learned: Running is a motif, Steve will flirt with anyone, Bucky is not just a handsome man, and Sam can't talk to bats and may or may not eat eggs.
