Just think of it: Jesus, the Messiah, the Prince of Peace, agreeing to come and be born as a helpless, tiny human baby. It really does boggle the mind, and I can’t help but think how little peace there actually was on earth at this time.

The word “peace” means the absence of war. In the Bible, the word can mean the absence of conflict, but it also points to something better in its place. As we continue into the second week of my Advent series, I explore the Biblical concept of peace and what it means to be whole.

Top reasons to listen to the entire episode:

  • Celebrate the Advent season and explore the true meaning of peace.
  • Understand what it means to be whole and how Jesus gives us Shalom.
  • Explore our call to create peace and how, through Jesus, we are reconciled.
