Drowsy Feeling sleepy or tired. After a long day at school, I felt very drowsy and wanted to take a nap. Taking medicine may cause you to feel drowsy. 2. Doze off To fall asleep, often unintentionally, or when you didn’t plan on it. He dozed off during the movie because he was so tired. If you doze off while driving, it could be super dangerous. 3.
