Tabari first met Kevin Necessary when they both worked at The Cincinnati Enquirer ... And then they both got laid off. Then, they both went their respective ways on their own unique career paths, the latter having drawn a new path to happiness - literally.
For you see, Kevin is now an award-winning editorial cartoonist whose work can once again be seen in Enquirer. But that's not all. He's also had his work featured on WCPO-TV/ABC 9 On Your Side in Cincinnati and a syndicated editorial cartoonist through GoComics.com. He is also the illustrator of a children's book, My Best Friend Fiona written by Lucy May about the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden's prized hippo of the same name.
