Welcome to It’s Cardiac Rehab podcast. This series is a collaboration between the Irish Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation and the Irish Heart Foundation supported by Servier Laboratories (Ireland) Ltd and focuses on the patient journey following a cardiac event. It is a podcast series where we discuss the patient’s journey through participation in Cardiac Rehabilitation Programmes following a cardiac event. This series comprises of six episodes, the podcast series features interviews with a range of medical experts and people who have attended cardiac rehab, to provide helpful insights on how to manage various aspects of their life after having a cardiac event. They also explain how participation in a cardiac rehabilitation programme supported their recovery. This podcast has been developed in conjunction with by the Irish Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation in partnership with Irish Heart Foundation and made possible through support by Servier Laboratories Ireland. For more information, or if you have any concerns contact your local cardiac rehabilitation clinic or your GP or the Irish Heart Foundation at http://irishheart.ie. or the IHF nurse helpline on 01 668 5001.
