A native Mississippian, Steven is an attorney and higher education strategist. His educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in theatre arts and English from Millsaps College, a master’s degree in mass communication with an emphasis in news reporting from Jackson State University, and a doctorate in jurisprudence from the University of New Hampshire School of Law. His professional background includes stints in news reporting, public relations, marketing, Title IX, multiple areas of law, and strategic planning, all on a school district, higher education, and community level. What all this equates to for Steven is brand building and protecting. Steven also is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He looks forward to discussing the importance of voting, for which he vehemently advocates. 30 Something and Verging is a podcast about life, its quirks, and all the things were on the verge of. What makes this channel and podcast unique is my mantra of living outside of the box. My conversations and views will be honest and unfiltered.
