Join Jim and Greg, who actually have a good martini today, along with an absurdly bad one, and some crazy double standards for Democrats.
First, they welcome thirteen federal judges warning Columbia University that they will no longer accept the school's students as law clerks after the trespassing protests that commandeered a building and university leaders allowed it all to happen. They do want to make sure that students who didn't break the law don't get punished for the crimes of others, but it is a warning to Columbia that if it wants to be taken seriously, the worst elements on campus cannot be calling the shots.
Next, they roll their eyes as Hamas agrees to a Middle East ceasefire that had never been on the table. Jim labels the plan an unacceptable counterproposal and explains why. He also blasts much of the mainstream media for proclaiming that Hamas had agreed to the deal and putting the pressure on Israel to consent to it.
Finally, they note racial rhetoric from two Democrats that got some pushback but would have likely meant the end of any Republican's political career. The latest comes from New York Gov. Kathy Hochul who claimed that kids on the Bronx don't even know the word "computer." They also note Maryland Rep. David Trone, who is also running for U.S. Senate, using a racial slur during a committee hearing back in March. Trone says he uttered the wrong word, and it's likely that he did, but we all know the political volcano that would have ensued if a GOP lawmaker had said it.
