High blood pressure is not a disease! Learn how to lower blood pressure with dietary changes and increased intake of specific nutrients that act as natural blood pressure remedies in the body. Address the root cause of hypertension rather than just treating the symptoms. 0:00 Introduction: What causes high blood pressure? 1:15 Blood pressure explained 2:10 How to lower blood pressure and address nutritional deficiencies 2:38 Natural blood pressure remedies 4:33 Fixing insulin resistance to lower blood pressure Over 90% of hypertension is labeled as having an unknown cause, which is very profitable for drug companies. The endothelial layer of your arteries has insulin receptors. When these receptors are damaged, your blood pressure can increase. Too much insulin allows too much calcium to enter the cells, so calcium channel blockers are often used to lower high blood pressure. However, the connection between insulin resistance and high blood pressure is usually ignored. A protective shield called the glycocalyx typically covers the endothelial tissue on the inside of your arteries. When this shield becomes damaged, it can cause a cascade of problems, including cellular damage, inflammation, calcium buildup, and excess clotting. The glycocalyx is vulnerable to damage from glucose and fructose. A low-carb diet and intermittent fasting can help you get healthy and lower your blood pressure quickly. Insulin resistance creates serious nutritional deficiencies that must also be addressed to lower blood pressure. To help reverse high blood pressure, increase the following nutrients: •Vitamin D •Magnesium glycinate •Potassium •Sulfur To fix insulin resistance and lower blood pressure, it’s important to avoid carbohydrates, sugar, starch, and seed oils. Remember that it may take a few weeks to notice blood pressure changes. A food log can help keep you on track. If your blood pressure is decreasing, but you notice that the top number remains high, focus on reducing stress. Ensure you sleep enough, take long walks, or try ashwagandha to lower your stress levels. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio:Dr. Berg, age 60, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. What happens to your body during a 3-day fast? In this video, we’ll cover the fasting health benefits of both intermittent fasting and extended fasting for 72 hours or longer. I’ll also share some expert fasting tips for even more fasting benefits. 0:00 Introduction: Not eating for 3 days?1:02 Intermittent fasting benefits1:44 Extended fasting benefits3:12 Autophagy and fasting 4:22 72-hour fast benefits 4:49 Immune benefits of extended fasting5:36 Fasting tips 6:28 How to break a fast Did you know that insulin resistance is behind most chronic diseases, including many types of cancer? Frequent eating leads to insulin resistance, which blocks cells from getting fuel. Diets involving 5 to 6 small meals daily destroy the metabolism the most! An intermittent fasting plan involving 18 hours of fasting with a 6-hour eating window can provide tremendous health benefits, such as weight loss in the midsection, improved mood, and decreased inflammation. A 24 to 48-hour fast can significantly magnify the benefits of fasting. Extended fasting enables you to deplete the stored glycogen in your liver. You may also notice significant initial water weight loss. During a 1 to 2-day fast, most of your fuel will come from ketones. Your microbes will thrive, and growth hormone will increase, boosting muscle growth and burning fat.Ketones will feed the neurons in the brain, so you may notice improved cognitive function.Extended fasting allows you to get into a state of autophagy, where your body removes damaged cells and proteins and creates new ones. Autophagy also allows you to build new brain cells. A 3-day fast can produce even more benefits! Extended fasting for 72 hours can clean up intracellular pathogens, including Epstein-Barr and herpes viruses. A 3-day fast can stimulate your immune system, protecting you against cancer and autoimmune diseases. You can achieve results similar to stem cell therapy for free! If you’re unsure of how to fast and want to make the process as comfortable and beneficial as possible, try these fasting tips for the most fasting benefits: •Coffee and tea are okay during a water fast •Make sure you have enough sea salt •Consume electrolytes like potassium and magnesium Refeeding can have a negative impact after a 3-day fast. It’s best to rebuild your caloric intake slowly. Bone broth is a great option to break your fast. ADHD is not genetic! In this video, we’ll examine the profound connection between ADHD and diet. Discover the foods that worsen ADHD symptoms, the relationship between ADHD and sugar intake, and the best ADHD diet to address the nutritional deficiencies that may be causing some of the symptoms in the first place. 0:00 Introduction: ADHD and poor nutrition 0:13 ADHD diagnosis and ADHD symptoms 1:54 Side effects of ADHD medications 2:04 ADHD causes 3:32 ADHD and food 4:24 ADHD and nutritional deficiencies 6:20 The best ADHD diet Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is typically diagnosed by identifying the following ADHD symptoms: •Makes mistakes easily •Lack of attention to detail •Does not listen when spoken to directly •Doesn’t complete tasks •Cannot play quietly •Problems organizing •Loses things •Frequent fidgeting •Too much energy •Talks too much Many ADHD symptoms are normal childhood behaviors, and a poor diet can exaggerate all of them. ADHD is often treated with Adderall and Ritalin, which make lots of money for Big Pharma. The definition of ADHD has been dramatically expanded to make it more diagnosable, putting more people on medication. A double-blinded study showed that after 36 months, any benefits from Adderall faded to zero. It also has side effects such as aggressive behavior or a dulled mood. ADHD involves a metabolic problem with the prefrontal cortex of the brain. These metabolic changes affect the way the brain metabolizes fuel. If the brain is starved of fuel, you may exhibit symptoms like a lack of attention and hyperactivity. Chemicals like food dyes, artificial sweeteners, sugar, starch, and MSG tremendously impact behavior. Increasing dopamine can improve focus and feelings of calmness. Foods such as meat, fish, eggs, and cheese are high in the amino acid L-tyrosine, the precursor to dopamine. Research has shown that micronutrients, especially B6, magnesium, and zinc, can significantly decrease ADHD symptoms. Omega-3 fatty acids and fish oils can also improve symptoms without side effects. Vitamin B1 is one of the most overlooked nutrients, especially in psychiatric conditions. When a child consumes a lot of glucose, vitamin B1 is depleted, inhibiting the brain’s ability to utilize fuel. If an adult or child is experiencing ADHD symptoms, they should switch to a low-carb diet so their body can run on ketones. Ketones will fuel the neurons and restore a sense of calmness and increased attention span. What causes depression? Surprisingly, depression has nothing to do with your brain and everything to do with your gut microbiome. In this video, we’ll take an in-depth look at the brain-gut connection and the often overlooked relationship between depression and gut health. 0:00 Introduction: Depression explained 1:17 Side effects of SSRIs 1:32 St. John’s wort and depression 2:27 The brain-gut connection 3:22 Depression and gut health 3:40 Depression and gut inflammation 3:51 Antibiotics and depression 4:33 L. reuteri and mental health Depression has consistently been viewed as a chemical imbalance, but it's actually related to a problem with the gut. Depression is often treated with SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors), but many studies show normal serotonin levels in people with depression. SSRIs do not fix depression and have even been called placebos by some medical professionals. They also come with serious side effects, including sexual dysfunction, decreased libido, inability to experience emotion, and worsening depression. St. John’s wort affects both serotonin and dopamine. It’s an anti-inflammatory and reduces cortisol, but doctors and the medical world often recommend against it despite its very few side effects. Serotonin and oxytocin are made in the gut. Oxytocin is a powerful hormone that can help with depression and stress, so gut health is at the core of mental health. The vagus nerve works as a highway that orchestrates the brain and gut connection. If you have a problem with your gut microbes, this can lead to depression. Studies have found serious microbes missing in depressed people! Gut inflammation can also alter your mood. One of the side effects of antibiotics is depression. Antibiotics erase the good bacteria that control your mood chemicals. Once wiped away, microbes don't always come back, and you could be left with an imbalance. L. reuteri is an amazing microbe that many people are missing. Dr. William Davis has shared an expert technique for cultivating L. reuteri using half and half to increase its potency. People have consumed this probiotic mixture and experienced significant health benefits such as improved sleep, muscle tone, and reduced stress. L. reuteri acts as a natural antibiotic without side effects and is found naturally in breast milk.…

What would happen if you drank lemon water for 30 days? In this video, we’ll look at the benefits of drinking lemon water daily and how a glass of lemon water in the morning can improve your health and vitality. 0:00 Introduction: What happens when you drink lemon water? 0:12 Lemon water in the morning 2:37 Lemon water benefits 2:47 Lemon water skin benefits 3:57 Lemon water and digestion 4:19 Lemon water for the immune system 4:48 Lemon juice and your teeth 5:18 Benefits of lemon peel With so much focus on high blood pressure, it’s essential not to overlook low blood pressure, which is often due to low blood volume. When you wake up in the morning, your blood volume is lowest. Low blood volume can cause dizziness when standing, poor exercise performance, and a decreased sense of well-being. Plain water in the morning can dehydrate you by diluting essential electrolytes, especially sodium, which is vital for healthy blood volume. Cortisol is highest at 8:00 a.m., and sodium is excellent for lowering cortisol, so salt is a great tool for a stress-free day. Himalayan sea salt is a great option, or try Baja Gold salt if you’re prone to high blood pressure. Fresh lemon juice is an excellent source of vitamin C, which is beneficial for the skin and is a potent antioxidant that supports the inside of the arteries. Opt for organic lemons or organic lemon juice. Lemon juice contains citric acid, which helps reduce the risk of kidney stones. Other benefits of lemon water include the following: •Reduces the incidence of gout •Helps phase 1 and phase 2 detoxification in the liver •Helps thin bile and reduce the incidence of gallstones •Supports digestion •Helps regulate cholesterol •Protects the insides of the arteries •Increases microbiome diversity •Potent antimicrobial properties •Increases absorption of non-heme iron If you drink lemon water daily, it's best to drink it with a straw to protect your tooth enamel. For added bioflavonoids, try blending an entire lemon with a glass of water and a pinch of salt! If salty lemon water is too tart for you, try adding a couple of drops of liquid stevia. For added benefits, you can also add one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to the mixture. Plaque and tartar are biofilms, which can be described as a protective shield against the immune system in your mouth. Biofilms are produced by a microbe called Streptococcus mutans, which also causes cavities. Surprisingly, this microbe has been found in other parts of the body, including the valves of the heart and the plaque in your arteries. Sugar consumption is one of the leading causes of tartar, but consuming sugar with starch is even worse! This can form a glue that sticks to your teeth. You must stop eating starch and sugar to prevent plaque and tartar from forming. To make a natural toothpaste that can effectively remove plaque, combine the following: •1/2 teaspoon 3% hydrogen peroxide, food-grade •1/2 teaspoon baking soda •3 drops of clove oil •1/2 teaspoon microcrystalline hydroxyapatite Combine 3 teaspoons of water with this mixture and brush your teeth with the mixture once daily. Hydrogen peroxide helps break down biofilms and whiten teeth. Baking soda has mild abrasive properties to clean teeth and alkalize the mouth. Clove oil is the best essential oil for oral health. It breaks down tartar and can even help decrease oral pain. Microcrystalline hydroxyapatite can enter the small crevices of the teeth and remineralize the bone tissue. It also prevents acid from breaking down the tooth. You can also chew certain types of gum that can help repopulate the friendly bacteria in the mouth and protect you against the formation of biofilms. Friendly bacteria in your mouth can help prevent tartar, bad breath, and cavities. Grass-fed butter is one of the healthiest foods for teeth. It’s a potent source of vitamin K2, which pushes the calcium in your body into your bones. Butter also contains vitamin A, which strengthens your enamel, and butyrate, which supports the brain and colon.…

Please join me in welcoming Dr. Mark Richards, one of the leading experts in testosterone replacement therapy. There are many environmental causes of low testosterone, including plastics, forever chemicals, pesticides, insecticides, and herbicides. If you’ve been exposed to too many chemicals, your cells that make testosterone will be affected! On average, population testosterone levels today are 60% lower than in the 1970s. Many of the negative side effects associated with testosterone therapy, such as heart attack and stroke, have been unfounded and removed from warning labels by the FDA. Testosterone creams only increase testosterone to a therapeutic level about 20% of the time and only for a few hours. Testosterone injections create a massive spike in testosterone, which also increases estrogen, leading to irritability and aggression. Testosterone pellets are compressed pure testosterone placed in the fat tissue through the skin and are highly effective at addressing low testosterone in men and women. In his 17 years of experience, Dr. Richards has found that fat cells effectively absorb testosterone and release it as your body needs it. This allows for a more stable release of testosterone that lasts for 4 months in men and 3 months in women. Testosterone pellets are 100% testosterone made using cholesterol from yams. There are not many side effects associated with testosterone pellets.…

Bone broth, pork rinds, and egg whites are some of the most common collagen sources. These collagen-boosting foods are great for your health, but the best collagen-rich food is much less talked about. You can not get collagen from plants! It must come from an animal source. Vegan collagen sources are typically only collagen-supporting products, such as vitamin C, which is necessary for collagen function. Although collagen comes from animal sources, you don’t get much from meat. Collagen makes up 30% of the protein in your body. It supports your arteries, joints, and eyes, and prevents sagging skin and wrinkles. After the age of 25, collagen begins to decrease. Without enough collagen, your arteries become stiff, which can lead to high blood pressure and hardening of the arteries. Consuming sugar, starches, and seed oils can deplete collagen faster than aging! There are multiple types of collagen, so it’s important to consume a variety of collagen-rich foods for the most benefits. Type 1 and type 3 collagen are found in fish skin, chicken skin, and bone broth. They support the skin, bones, and hair. Type 2 collagen supports the joints and typically comes from cartilage. Types 5 and 10 collagen come from organ meats and the membranes in eggs. These types of collagen support eye health and provide support at the cellular level. The best collagen-rich food, rarely discussed, contains GAGs that make up your joints, skin, fascia, and cell membranes. Surprisingly, the best collagen-rich food is rooster comb! You can find rooster comb in a Chinese or Filipino grocery store. You can also purchase them from a local farmer. Rooster comb provides the highest quality collagen to support skin health, joint repair, and gut health. It can also help improve symptoms of osteoarthritis. Consume the following foods regularly to support a collagen-rich diet: 1. Rooster comb2. Chicken feet3. Fish skin4. Beef tendons 5. Bone broth…

Memory loss is not the only early sign of dementia! Other common cognitive decline symptoms involve the speed at which you process information and your attention and focus. To perform the clock drawing test for dementia, set a timer for 30 seconds and draw a clock with the time set at 10 minutes after 11. To evaluate your results for any dementia risk factors, examine the following: •Were any numbers jumbled or missing? •Did you write all 12 numbers? •Were the numbers spaced correctly? •Were the hands of the clock facing the right direction? •Did you reverse the hour and the minute hands? •Were you unable to complete this in 30 seconds? The clock drawing test is one of the most sensitive indicators of early cognitive deficits and is considered more accurate than memory tests. If you didn’t pass this test or you made a mistake, don’t worry! You can do many things to support brain health and prevent or reverse dementia. Sugar shrinks your brain, especially the hippocampus, which controls memory. Chronic stress and poor sleep can also contribute to the problem. If you notice any signs of early dementia, increasing BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) is vital. BDNF helps grow brain tissue and prevents cognitive problems, as well as other issues like depression. Here are the best ways to increase BDNF: •Intermittent fasting •Cold therapy •Deep sleep •Learning difficult tasks or skills •High-intensity interval training Ketones can also help reverse dementia and protect your brain against cognitive decline. A low-carb diet can increase ketones and has even been shown to reverse diabetes in 10 weeks! MCT oil, coconut oil, and ketone supplements can also provide the brain with ketones. To remain in ketosis, only consume a moderate amount of protein!…

These 5 colon issues and gut problems can wreak havoc on your skin’s health! 1. An altered microbiome means your gut contains more bad bacteria than healthy gut microbes. It’s often caused by diet or antibiotics. An altered gut microbiome can cause inflammation that can become systemic, leading to rosacea. 2. SIBO is a condition where gut microbes are in the wrong place. Most microbes should be in the large intestine, not the small intestine. SIBO can lead to nutritional deficiencies, inflammation, arthritis, and rosacea. 3. Gut inflammation symptoms include pain, tightness, or bloating. Gut inflammation is typically caused by diet, with gluten being one of the most common culprits. The more gut inflammation you have, the less you can absorb zinc. Zinc deficiencies are one of the most common causes of skin rashes. The carnivore diet is very beneficial for people with gut inflammation. 4. If you have chronic gut inflammation, you may lose your gut villi over time. This can diminish nutrient absorption, especially the absorption of vitamin D. Many autoimmune skin issues are directly related to low vitamin D. You can increase vitamin D with supplements, sun exposure, and certain types of light therapy. 5. If you’ve had your gallbladder removed or you have low bile, you may develop skin issues. Without enough bile, you won’t be able to break down and digest the fat-soluble vitamins, especially vitamin A. To increase vitamin A, consume beef liver or cod liver oil. Ox bile, purified bile salts, or TUDCA can help if you have a sluggish gallbladder or have had your gallbladder removed. To improve gut and skin health, take a good probiotic and consume fermented foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, raw milk cheese, yogurt, and raw salad from the garden. The carnivore diet can significantly improve gut health, reduce skin issues, and improve autoimmune conditions. If you have SIBO, do intermittent fasting and OMAD. Try acidifying the stomach with betaine hydrochloride or apple cider vinegar. You can make your own L. reuteri probiotic mixture to improve your gut and skin health significantly. L. reuteri can live in the small and large intestine and has multiple benefits, including improved digestion and the improvement of skin issues like acne.…

1. High-intensity interval training (HIIT)Just a few minutes of high-intensity exercise with lots of rest can quickly deplete excess sugar in your blood. Try doing exercises such as burpees, plyometrics, or a spin bike. 2. Apple cider vinegarApple cider vinegar contains acetic acid, which can slow down a blood sugar spike after consuming sugar. Combine one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with 8 ounces of water and drink this after a high-carb meal. 3. Berberine, NAC, and other supplementsBerberine is considered a natural Metformin without the side effects. You can pair berberine with NAC or alpha lipoic acid for more natural blood sugar support. Excess carbs deplete vitamin B1, so if you have a cheat meal or fall off the wagon with carbohydrates, increase vitamin B1. 4. Post-meal walkA 25 to 30-minute post-meal walk can help burn off excess sugar so that it is not converted into cholesterol or stored as fat. 5. Potassium and magnesiumPotassium is necessary for glucose storage in the liver and the muscles. It also helps move glucose into your cells. Magnesium is critical for the cells that produce insulin. Nearly every diabetic is deficient in magnesium! 6. Ketone supplements Providing the brain with ketones supports healthy blood sugar in the brain, which can improve cognitive function and decrease brain fog. 7. Saltwater Sodium helps prevent stress-induced blood sugar spikes. Adding more salt to your last meal or adding it to a glass of water can improve sleep and calm your mood.Dry fasting can lower blood sugar faster than anything else! Dry fasting means you’re not drinking water or eating food. When you’re dry fasting, your body increases the hormone glucagon, which helps to lower blood sugar. Growth hormone and antioxidants also increase, and your body quickly switches to fat-burning. Cellulite is a disruption of the connective tissue and fascia under your skin. Cellulite typically occurs only on the thighs and buttocks and doesn’t occur on the stomach, arms, or breast tissue. An enzyme involved in menstruation is often responsible for this disruption in collagen. If you only focus on losing weight without rebuilding the collagen in your legs, you will still have cellulite! Consuming collagen will provide the raw materials, but will not correct the problem. To reduce cellulite, you must restore the connective tissue. Green coffee bean oil, which is often formulated with retinol, collagen, and green tea extract, can help reduce cellulite. The connective tissue responsible for cellulite formation is highly responsive to mechanical stress. The best exercise for cellulite is intense, so it’s important to gradually ease into it with lower impact cellulite exercises. These cellulite exercises stimulate new layers of connective tissue to tone legs and reduce cellulite. Slow squats and step-down lunges are two of the best leg and glute workouts for reducing cellulite. You can also perform box jumps or jump rope, depending on your fitness level. The best exercise for cellulite also burns subcutaneous and visceral fat. To start, look for a hill that’s a bit uneven. Start by walking up the hill and finish by sprinting uphill for about ten to twenty seconds. Uphill sprinting significantly stimulates new connective tissue because it requires intense stabilization from your body. It takes time to get rid of cellulite because your body needs time to regrow collagen and connective tissue. To see results, expect to perform these cellulite exercises for six months to a year.
