I always appreciate the work that Arun Gupta does to both cover and share context to social activism in NYC and beyond. I spoke with Arun about the Gaza solidarity encampment at Columbia University and how the action took place in a wider context of both the Palestine solidarity movement, but also a history of actions within public facing spaces in NY. Arun shares reflections around both Occupy Wall Street and anti gentrification actions that have taken place in the Lower Eastside area.
