Saturday felt like Easton Stick's last chance to make his case to be the Chargers backup quarterback, and unfortunately he wasn't good enough. Stick for most of the game looked better than his performance last week, but a goal line fumble and a bad red zone interception ruined a potential bounce back game. Dan and David analyze the Chargers game against the Rams including the improvements made by WR Quentin Johnston. Although you can't see it in the box score, Johnston seems like he's made a year two leap. Saturday was also somewhat of a breakout game for rookie RB Kimani Vidal who showed quickly why he is going to make the team. Rookie Joe Alt also had a just about flawless performance. On defense it was DB Deane Leonard who stole the show balling out and grabbing the Chargers first interception of the preseason.
