They have acquired the rights to the original Doge image and the IP in partnership with Atsuko Sato, who rescued and raised Kabosu, the Shiba Inu in the legendary Doge meme. Own the Doge has organized a community of over a million holders of the DOG token across different blockchains. They have used their platform to support charitable causes, including being the largest crypto donor to Save the Children. Own the Doge is also launching the Pixel Portal, a platform where holders of the DOG token can visualize their piece of the Doge meme as an NFT. They are moving the Pixel Portal from Ethereum to the Base blockchain to reduce gas fees and improve accessibility. They are also planning a big event for Doge Day on November 2nd, which will include breaking a Guinness World Record and collaborations with meme celebrities. Own the Doge is organizing Doge Day 2024 in Japan, which will include a Guinness World Record attempt. They are also looking for sponsors for the event. The team is working on a Doge documentary that captures the stories and impact of Doge in the world. They believe in using Doge as a force for good and supporting doge culture and public goods.
