On a quiet night in June 2017, Grenfell Tower in West London was engulfed in flames, leading to one of the deadliest residential fires in recent history.
The concrete structure was a tragic death trap; and as the seventh anniversary of the Grenfell inferno passes, victims are still seeking justice. With the investigation still ongoing; shocking levels of neglect, carelessness and cost cutting have revealed how the victims never stood a chance.
Grenfell was a preventable tragedy and by understanding what happened, we can prevent a repeat in the future.
