In Episode 6 of the Struggles to Success Podcast, I talk to Prof Ged Williams, Chief Nursing Officer and executive Director of Nursing at Alfred Health, Melbourne, Australia. He is Founder and former President of the World Federation of Critical Care Nurses and Australian College of Critical Care Nurses. He is philanthropist and has helped set up Federations of Critical Care Nursing in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

In this episode, Prof Ged williams describes how having to help look after his siblings at a young age and his humble rural upbringing in a conservative family setting, shaped his future. He demonstrates how struggles are in fact opportunities and how he has learnt the skill of turning struggles into success which he now uses effortlessly like a well trained athlete. He highlights the importance of being able to know and accept when you cannot solve a struggle and demonstrates that struggles are opportunities or gifts in many ways. This is live demonstration of why everybody and leaders should master the skill of turning struggles into success. Be prepared to list to a life changing podcast!
