The Leon Morris Lecture 2021
Pray without Ceasing
Guest Speaker: Dr Andrew Malone
Description
Andrew explored the role of prayer in the two letters written to the Thessalonians by Paul and his missionary team. Arguably more than in any other Pauline correspondence, prayer dictates the shape of these writings. Many of the prayers are offered as models for next-generation believers to emulate, especially the prayers of thankfulness. They provide us with clear evidence of how the earliest Christians readily addressed their prayers to Jesus as well as to God.
