CONTENT/TRIGGER WARNING: The following episode may contain references to drugs, abuse, and assault.

Patricia Marie Small went missing near Liberty, Texas, on May 11, 2002. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance are murky, but likely, she was last seen around the 2400 block of Beaumont Avenue in Liberty, Texas. It's unclear whether she was abducted or left of her own volition.

Patricia was 18 at the time. She's a white female who is approximately 5'6 and weighs around 110 pounds. She has sandy blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a mole on the right side of her head and a heart tattoo on her right ankle with a ribbon above it that reads "Jennifer Friends 4 Ever."

If you know anything about her disappearance, please get in touch with the Liberty Police Department at 936.336.5666 and reference case # 022463.

Also, please check out the Facebook page: Help find missing persons Patricia Marie Small - TX.

While prepping for this interview, I came across "The Missing Texas Forty Facebook Page," which I had never heard of before. I learned about a cluster of more than 40 people who have gone missing outside of Houston, Texas, primarily in and around Liberty and Montgomery Counties. There doesn't seem to be a specific reason these people go missing, but people told me some theories include human trafficking and criminal activity. If you're listening and know someone who has gone missing in these areas and is part of the missing Texas Forty, please reach out to me through the Missing and Unexplained Facebook page.

I spoke to Patricia's younger sister, Barbara, about her disappearance.

Here's my interview with Barbara.
