...but once you figure out which one, planning will become a whole lot simpler!
Wedding planning can be exceptionally tricky if you can't pinpoint the feel and vibe you want for your day, so in episode six of The One Fab Day Wedding Podcast, we're helping you do exactly that! Of course every wedding is different, but, in our view, there are only eight types of wedding; country house weddings, elopements, black tie weddings, city weddings, destination weddings, festival weddings, marquee weddings, and hotel package weddings. In this episode of the show, we're delivering a crash course in all eight styles, as well as some helpful tips for figuring out which one of them is right for you!
Episode Breakdown: Episode 6: Newsflash! Your Wedding Is One of These 8 Types
Wedding tip: We deliver a PSA on breaking in your wedding shoes before the big day, and we're not just talking about brides! Grooms, bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents, guests - this one's for you, too!
Main topic: Nailing down the feel and vibe of your dream wedding day should be on the top of your to-do list, so in today's episode we're breaking down eight styles of wedding, including chic city celebrations, raucous countryside weekenders and far-flung elopements.
Wedding dilemma: A bride writes, “My venue have told me I’m only able to get in to get in to decorate the room on the morning of the wedding. I’d planned to have lots of personal touches and do the decoration myself, as I’m bringing in my own napkins, cutlery and glasses, and we also want to hang lights and dot signage around the venue. Is it normal for the venue to only let you in on the day of the wedding? I’m not sure I can trust someone else to do the set-up, because I know exactly how I want it all to look.” Our advice this week includes hiring a planner or stylist and recruiting aesthetically-gifted pals.
Something to do when you're not planning your wedding: Celina bigs up the benefits of non-competitive exercise, including shout-outs for YouTube instructor Yoga with Adrienne and Dublin-based exercise class, Fearless Moves.
