In this episode of The Landscape we welcome two Crain's Cleveland reporters, Lydia Coutré, focusing on Health Care and Nonprofits, and Rachel Abbey McCafferty who focuses on Manufacturing, Technology and Education. As 2020 showed us, internet access is an essential need for children and adults alike. For those that don't readily have access to internet or broadband service, they're sure to be at a disadvantage relative to their peers. We call this disadvantage the Digital Divide. As we learn from Lydia and Rachel, it's been growing for years and the emphasis on innovation to bridge the gap is more necessary now than ever. Although we focus on Cleveland's specific Digital Divide, many metropolitan areas and a variety of organizations are putting plenty of capital and resources into potential solutions.
