There are two bills going to the US Congress to deal with Puerto Rico's status; one for statehood and one for self determination. While both look highly unlikely to pass, with self determination garnering more support than statehood, Arturo (@AmericanNumbers on Twitter, @AmericanNumbers@Mastodon.social) and I look at the reality of the political and economic situation, where the US is at and some ideas for moving Puerto Rico forward to help the people now.
