Many organizations have gone all in on employee engagement. Coke and pepsi in the breakroom, increase vacation days, flexible working hours and whatever it can be done to improve employee circumstances. While watching this trend, our organization was worried an over-rotation on engagement, without a strong foundation in mindsets of accountability, would create entitlement.
And all trends are pointing to the fact that it has done just that in many cases.
This full keynote is all about how many organizations are frustrated with their approach to engagement, why we know that the research behind engagement strategies is flawed and, most importantly, I discuss practical ways to fix it moving forward.
In our presentations, we don't just come in and disrupt with reasons why we believe the current models aren't working. We ensure that we leave audiences with a settled mind because they have our framework, practical tools and techniques to actually implement what we are suggesting.
If you are looking for that practical tool that allows you to still listen to the concerns of your team about what would make the workplace amazing, but you believe in our model of accountability - be sure to listen all the way to the end for the Engaged Action Planning tool I teach. This is your solution.
This specific talk was only a 30-minute session, but I deliver conferences keynotes and corporate training sessions to leaders and employees to help ditch the drama from leadership, Hardwire Accountability in our teams, as well as Change Readiness (our modern take on traditional change management).
These talks can be customized to what your event is needing and can be super interactive from 30 minutes to 8 hours in content.
