Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Roy S. Ford was trained in photography as a teenager. His love for music and performance started at a young age. After graduating from Sam Houston State University, he began his career in radio as an on-air personality. After 10 years in radio broadcasting, he transitioned into filmmaking. His first production was a short film comedy in 2005 called CLEAN PEOPLE. It rose to popularity as a selection at several film festivals and it won a Best Comedy award at The Gulf Coast Film Festival. Since that time he has been producing and directing short films with down to earth storytelling and real life performances. Currently he works as a video producer, content creator, and social media advisor for influencers, and business that are looking to learn more about marketing online.
