Reviewed: The Legend of Ochi Top 5: Summer Movie Preview Celebrating This Month: Laurence Fishburne Smell ya’ later April!! CinemaJaw is back and we are BACK with the last episode of Laurence Fishburne Month! We loved having him, and lemme tell ya’ – we closed this party with a bang! First and foremost – we have a review of the new Willem DaFoe vehicle: The Legend of Ochi! Matt and Ryan came straight from the theater to record this one, and we know you’re gonna love it. THEN – there’s more (there’s always more… you know this by now…)! We also do the Summer Movie Preview!! It is officially that time of year! May starts this week and Marvel’s The Thunderbolts is dropping so very soon. So the boys figured: Time to chart out the most anticipated flicks for the summer! As if that wasn’t enough – we also are going to do our man of the hour (or month) Laurence Fishburne right! We would be remiss not to discuss The Amateur – the whole reason it’s Larry F. Month in the first place. This review may be a bite-sized assessment… but I can guarantee you that you will like Ryan’s closing line. That’s right, we’re punching trees into oblivion this week, and that’s just getting started as Matt K and KP review Jack Black’s new A Minecraft Movie. Speaking of the Jackster, Matt and Ryan thought this would be the perfect time to discuss their top 5 Jack Black movies! Spoiler alert – no, Be Kind Rewind does not make it and KP have a stern talking with the boys after recording. This injustice has not gone unnoticed. And… if you can believe it… we’re still not done kiddos. We even have ONE MORE REVIEW!!!! Ryan got out and saw the new realistic combat film: WARFARE. Is it worth inching along for this arthouse experience, or should we leave it in the garden? You’ll have to listen to find out! Then there’s Blitz . Reviewed: Wolfs, Alien Weekend, Super/Man: the Christopher Reeve Story Top 5 Pitt or Clooney Trivia: Wolf Movie Trivia Celebrating This Month: Tim Burton In this episode, we delve into some duos. In honor of our review of the new film, Wolfs (no typo), which sees George Clooney and Brad Pitt reunited on the silver screen (and it feels so good), we are choosing our top 5 from their combined Filmographies. To unpack this dynamic screen duo of Pitt and Clooney, we bring in our own Screen duo of Krueger and King, betrothed collaborators with a fresh film on Amazon Prime! Jada Krueger is an actress born and raised in IL. Her passion for acting began at 14 when she performed in her high school’s plays and musicals. After that, she studied at the Second City (formerly Harold Ramis) Film School in Chicago and later took acting classes at The Green Shirt Studio. In 2023, Jada was cast as the lead role, Violet in Alien Weekend created by Taylor King. Alien Weekend is her first leading role in a feature film. Soon, she will be seen leading in 3 more feature films, and she is going on to her first series beginning in October. Her Fiance Taylor King was born in Torrance California, opting out of film school to start a production company, New Zealand Son Films, with his father Sean King in 2015. Taylor has produced over 20 films and television series half of which he has written and directed. He is about to start production on “The Salem Sisters”, a 12-episode series following the story of three young witches. These are a pair of filmmakers to follow, and I do recommend Alien Weekend ! Top 5 Pitt/Clooney Matt: Fight Club – Pitt Oh Brother Where Art Thou – Clooney Seven – Pitt From Dusk Til Dawn – Clooney Up in the Air – Clooney Jada and Taylor: Curious Case of Benjamin Button Ocean’s 11 Moneyball Meet Joe Black Fantastic Mr. Fox Ry: Fight Club Once Upon a Time In Hollywood Micheal Clayton The Descendants The Assassination of Jesse James By the Coward…
