Brendt Allen Christensen Full Length Police Interrogation The kidnapping and murder of Yingying Zhang occurred on June 9, 2017 when Zhang, a visiting Chinese scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, was abducted by Brendt Allen Christensen, a Champaign resident and former physics graduate student at the university. Christensen lured Zhang into his car at a bus stop on campus with the promise of a ride after she missed a bus, but then took her to his apartment where he raped and murdered her while his wife was out of town for the weekend. On June 30, 2017, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested and charged Christensen in federal court. Christensen was convicted of one count of kidnapping resulting in death and two counts of making false statements to agents of the FBI, for which he received a sentence of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole on July 18, 2019. On the afternoon of June 9, 2017, Zhang was traveling on a Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District (CUMTD) bus in Urbana, Illinois, to an off-campus apartment complex where she was planning to sign a new apartment lease. She was running late and sent a text message to the leasing agent at 1:39 p.m. to inform them that she would arrive at approximately 2:10 p.m. After riding on one bus, she exited at 1:52 p.m. and tried to transfer to another. However, because she was on the wrong side of the street for boarding, the bus did not stop after she attempted to flag it down. The CUMTD stated it is against company policy to stop for pedestrians on the wrong side of the street, as to do so would encourage them to run into oncoming traffic. Zhang then walked to another bus stop a few blocks away at the corner of North Goodwin Avenue and West Clark Street, directly in front of the university's PBS radio and television station, WILL. Surveillance video cameras showed that a black Saturn Astra passed by her at 2:00 p.m. as she waited at the bus stop, and then circled back around and stopped where she was waiting at 2:03 p.m. She spoke to the driver for approximately one minute, and then entered the car. The leasing agent sent a text message to her at approximately 2:38 p.m., but received no reply. As the hours passed, Zhang's friends, aware of her errand and expecting her to return quickly, grew increasingly worried. At 9:24 p.m., an associate professor called police to report her missing. Investigators were unable to discern the license plate number of the vehicle from security camera footage. However, they determined that there were 18 four-door Saturn Astras registered to owners in the Champaign County area. One of these vehicles was registered to Brendt Allen Christensen, a Champaign resident. Christensen, born June 30, 1989, is a former Ph.D. student at the University of Illinois. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in math and physics and graduated with a master's degree in physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2017. Before starting graduate school, he married Michelle Zortman in March 2013. Investigators interviewed Christensen on June 12,and i nspected his car. When questioned, Christensen reportedly claimed that he did not remember what he was doing at the time of Zhang's disappearance. He later told investigators that he may have been sleeping, or at home playing video games.[1] On June 14, investigators reviewed the surveillance video footage and observed that the car's sunroof was similar to the one on Christensen's car. They also noted that the car in the video had a cracked hubcap and, upon reinspecting Christensen's car, found that it had a cracked hubcap. They concluded that the car in the footage belonged to Christensen.[1] On June 15, local police and FBI investigators questioned Christensen and executed a search warrant for his car. The black Saturn Astra was initially towed to a secure bay at the Champaign Police Department, and on June 18 was transported to the FBI Springfield Division's main office in Springfield, Illinois. Investigators noted that the passenger door of his car "appeared to have been cleaned to a more diligent extent than the other vehicle doors", which they said "may be indicative of an attempt or effort to conceal or destroy evidence". During questioning on June 15, Christensen admitted that he had given an Asian female a ride,] but said that he dropped her off after only a few blocks when a wrong turn caused her to panic.Concurrent with this questioning, agents at Christensen's apartment sought and obtained written permission from another occupant of the residence for search and seizure of items at the residence. brent christensen, brent, christensen, christiansen, christianson, full interrogation, interrogation, yingying zhang, university of illinois, champaigne urbana, asian, college, asian student, murder, murderer, stalking, true crime,interrogations,champaign-urbana,u of i murder, student murder, college murder, brendt chrisensen, ying ying zhang, duffel bag…

The Murder Of Mary Ann Murphy [True Crime Documentary] The Murder Of Mary Ann Murphy True Crime Documentary On July 16, 2012, the body of Mary Ann Murphy, 48, was found stabbed to death in bed in her family home in Humble, Texas. It was a little after 1 a.m. Keri, Mary Ann's daughter, dialed 911 with a panicky call. She informed them that someone had kicked in the back door, and that she had run out of the house after hearing her mother scream. The stab wounds were numerous and extensive. She'd been stabbed a total of 70 times. Her legs, arms, hands, neck, and face were all covered in blood. It was clear that this was a particularly severe assault. Zein Ahmed, a classmate of Murphy's daughter, was the first suspect in a murder inquiry into the savage attack on Murphy, who was sleeping at the time. According to Keri Murphy's brother Scott, investigators identified a motivation when they discovered that Mary Ann Murphy had barred Keri from speaking with her lover Rebecca after Keri's father spotted them together in the house alone. After Keri was grounded, Rebecca allegedly handed her a cell phone so she could connect with her. They called it "bunny phone". The reality would soon be revealed: the ladies would continue to converse while awaiting trial, maybe unaware that their phone talks were being recorded. Rebecca, not Keri, had stabbed them, according to their chats. Rebecca Keller and Keri Murphy did not go to trial. Rebecca was sentenced to 60 years in prison and Keri was sentenced to 30 years. Keri and Rebecca appear to be friends and in touch, despite the fact that they are no longer together as a couple. the murder of mary ann murphy, true crime, crime documentary, crime documentaries, rebecca keller, keri murphy and rebecca keller, keri murphy…

The Murder Of Tania Furlan [True Crime Documentary] Tania Furlan was discovered beaten to death in her Howick house in July 1996. H her six-week-old daughter, Tiffany, had gone missing but was subsequently discovered abandoned outside the Royal Oak Baptist Church, 18 kilometers distant from the family home. Lewis, the murderer, was thought to have planned to kidnap Tania and hold her for ransom in order to extract money from her husband. Lewis has denied killing Tania, and the matter will not go to trial. Lewis's lawyer, David Jones, has expressed doubts about whether Lewis was guilty or framed, but police have stated that they are confident Lewis was the murderer. A police witness, whose name has been withheld, said earlier this year during a depositions hearing that Lewis confessed to the murder, claiming he had pretended to be a delivery guy. Tania allowed him in, and he pulled out a hammer and instructed her to lie down on the floor. He reportedly punched her with the intention of simply knocking her unconscious, but realized he had struck her too hard. He then struck her many times more. Because the evidence in this case will never be heard, there may be concerns about Lewis' culpability, but a study into Lewis' past indicates a proclivity for serious criminal behavior. On the afternoon of September 23, 1997, Christopher John Lewis was found dead in his cell by Auckland Mt Eden prison staff. Lewis, 32, had electrocuted himself with television aerial cables. Few New Zealanders will be saddened by his death. 18-Year-Old Woman is Arrested for DUI and has a Major Meltdown On September 17, 2023, Cuyahoga Falls Police Officer Williams spotted a vehicle that allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign. The police report claims he attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle, but the female driver, who just turned 18-years-old 12 days prior, took an exceptionally long time to stop the vehicle. Officer Williams would later claim that he could smell alcohol emanating from the vehicle. He asked the woman to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests (FSTs). She initially denied consuming any alcohol, but later confessed to drinking one drink. She was arrested for DUI and was placed in the back of Officer Williams' patrol vehicle. That is where the in-car camera caught her massive meltdown. The entitled woman was so concerned about not getting into college or losing her scholarship, that she concluded her life was over. At the police station, she submitted to an evidentiary breath test (EBT) and, according to the police report, the result was 0.06% BAC, which is over the legal limit for someone under 21-years-old. She was cited for DUI and failing to stop at a stop sign.…

Demanding Mother of NYPD Detective Can't Escape Being Arrested for DUI On September 28, 2024, Montvale Police Officers Salazar and Gaston were at a 7-11 when the store clerk notified them that a female customer appeared to be intoxicated. Officers followed the 52-year-old woman as she drove away from the 7-11. Officer Salazar observed the woman cross over the center lane lines several times and he initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. The woman presented Officer Salazar with a NYPD Detective Association card in an attempt to influence the traffic stop. However, she was still asked to step out of the vehicle in order to submit to standardized field sobriety tests. She was subsequently placed under arrest for DUI. At the police station, she was given 11 different attempts to provide a breath sample, but she did not follow instructions, and it was ultimately deemed a refusal to test. The woman's daughter, a NYPD detective, eventually arrived to pick her up and take responsibility for her.…

U.S. Student Convicted Of Murder In Italy [True Crime Documentary] Amanda Knox, an American student studying abroad in Italy in 2007, was found guilty after a year-long trial for the murder of her British roommate. Knox received a 26-year sentence for murder and sexual assault, avoiding the country's harshest life term. Rafaelle Sollecito, her ex-boyfriend, was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Knox, 22, was charged in November 2007 with the murder of her British roommate, Meredith Kercher in Perugia, Italy. The juicy story received a lot of attention from the media in three nations. Prosecutors claimed Knox was a promiscuous party girl who stabbed Kercher to death in a fit of passion after the British 21-year-old refused to play a sex game with Knox and Sollecito and was sexually raped by a third accomplice, Rudy Hermann Guede. Guede, an Ivory Coast native, chose a separate, expedited trial and was found guilty of murder and sexual assault in October 2008, receiving a 30-year sentence, but Italian prosecutors claim Knox and her boyfriend were accomplices. Kercher's bra clasp and small traces of her DNA on a knife were also challenged by defense counsel, who said that the clasp was discovered six weeks after the investigation and that the knife didn't fit Kercher's wounds. Meanwhile, Knox maintained her innocence in a passionate closing speech, declaring, "I'm not a serial killer. I'm afraid of being labeled as something I'm not." Uncovering the Dark Truth: Gavin's Family Massacre In December 2020, 16-year-old Gavin Smith from Elkview, West Virginia, fatally shot his mother, Risa Mae Saunders, 39; his stepfather, Daniel Dale Long, 37; and his two younger brothers, Gage Ripley, 12, and Jameson Long, 3. The victims were discovered days later by family members. In December 2022, a Kanawha County jury convicted Smith on three counts of first-degree murder and one count of second-degree murder. The following month, Judge Kenneth Ballard sentenced him to life in prison with mercy for the first-degree murder charges, making him eligible for parole after 15 years, as mandated by West Virginia law for juveniles. He also received a consecutive 40-year sentence for the second-degree murder conviction and an additional 10 years for a firearms charge. During the trial, evidence revealed that Smith's parents had forbidden him from seeing his girlfriend, Rebecca Walker. On the night of the murders, Smith was on a video call with Walker before, during, and after the killings. Walker later pleaded guilty to four counts of accessory after the fact to first-degree murder and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Judge Ballard described the murders as "an act of pure evil," noting that Smith showed no remorse for his actions. UFO Reporting Center Telephone Recordings from UFO Encounter Witnesses ACTUAL AUDIO #1 National UFO Reporting Center - Information and Policies The National UFO Reporting Center was founded in 1974 by noted UFO investigator Robert J. Gribble. The Center’s primary function over the past four decades has been to receive, record, and to the greatest degree possible, corroborate and document reports from individuals who have been witness to unusual, possibly UFO-related events. Throughout its history, the Center has processed over 150,000 reports, and has distributed its information to thousands of individuals. The principal means used by the Center to receive sighting reports is this website, which has operated continuously since 1994. Prior to that period, the telephone hotline and the U.S. mail were the primary means of taking reports. The Center’s independence from all other UFO related organizations, combined with its long standing policy of guaranteed anonymity to callers, has served to make it perhaps the most popular and widely accepted national UFO reporting facility anywhere. The website and hotline are well known by law enforcement agencies, FAA ARTCC’s and flight service stations, National Weather Services offices, military facilities, NASA, and many 911 emergency dispatch centers all across the United States and in many parts of Canada. Those entities routinely direct the calls they receive regarding possible UFO sightings to the Center. UFO Reporting Center Telephone Recordings from UFO Encounter Witnesses #1 One of the Center’s policies, which distinguishes its operations from most other UFO organizations, is that it makes available to the public all of its data in summary form. Serial Killer Altemio Sanchez AKA "The Bike Path Rapist." - True Crime Documentary Serial Killer Altemio Sanchez AKA "The Bike Path Rapist"Altemio Sanchez, known as The Bike Path Rapist, terrorized western New York for over two decades. Operating primarily in the Buffalo area, he was responsible for multiple sexual assaults and at least three confirmed murders between the 1980s and early 2000s. For years, Sanchez eluded authorities despite a growing body of DNA evidence. It wasn’t until 2007 that forensic genealogy and investigative breakthroughs led to his arrest. He eventually pleaded guilty to the murders of Linda Yalem, Majane Mazur, and Joan Diver, as well as numerous rapes. His double life shocked those who knew him—Sanchez was a family man, married with children, and worked as a factory employee. His ability to blend into society while committing horrific crimes made his case particularly chilling. Altemio Sanchez, also known as the "Bike Path Rapist," terrorized the Buffalo, New York area for over three decades. Here's a breakdown of his horrific crimes: The Victims: Sanchez is known to have raped at least 9 to 15 girls and women and murdered three: Linda Yalem: A University at Buffalo student, raped and murdered in 1990. Majane Mazur: A sex worker, raped and murdered in 1992. Joan Diver: A nurse and mother of four, murdered in 2006. The Crimes: Sanchez's crimes spanned from 1975 to 2006. He typically attacked his victims near secluded bike paths, hence his nickname. His methods often involved strangulation, and he sometimes raped his victims. The Investigation: The case remained unsolved for many years, despite the efforts of investigators. DNA evidence eventually played a crucial role in linking Sanchez to the crimes. The Perpetrator: Altemio Sanchez was a seemingly ordinary man, a machinist and factory worker, married with children. He was even involved in his community, coaching his sons' basketball and baseball teams. This facade hid a dark and violent side. The Aftermath: Sanchez was arrested in 2007 and confessed to the murders. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 75 years to life in prison. His arrest led to the release of Anthony Capozzi, an innocent man who had spent 22 years in prison for a rape Sanchez had committed. This case is particularly disturbing because of the length of time Sanchez was able to commit his crimes and the contrast between his outward appearance and his brutal actions. It highlights the importance of DNA evidence in solving cold cases and the devastating impact of violence on victims and their families. Altemio Sanchez, Bike Path Rapist, Serial Killer, Buffalo, New York, Linda Yalem, Majane Mazur, Joan Diver, Rape, Murder, Strangling, DNA, Cold Case, Anthony Capozzi, Wrongful Conviction, 1975, 1990, 1992, 2006, Crime, Homicide, Sexual Assault, Justice, Forensic Science, Confession, 75 Years to Life…

Teen Murderer Byron David Smith Full Length Police Interrogation Byron David Smith's case is a disturbing example of a seemingly clear-cut case of self-defense that became much more complex upon closer examination. Here's a more detailed look: The Incident: On Thanksgiving Day 2012, Haile Kifer and Nicholas Brady, two teenagers, entered Smith's home in Little Falls, Minnesota. Smith, who was 64 years old at the time, shot and killed both of them. The Claim of Self-Defense: Smith immediately claimed he acted in self-defense. He stated he feared for his life and that the teens were intruders. This initial narrative aligned with many people's understanding of "castle doctrine" or "stand your ground" laws, which generally allow homeowners to use deadly force against intruders. The Evidence Against Him: The key piece of evidence that challenged Smith's self-defense claim was the audio recordings he made before, during, and after the shootings. These recordings revealed a very different picture than the one Smith presented. Premeditation: The recordings documented Smith's increasing anxiety and preparations in the days leading up to the break-in. He talked about his fears and his plans. Crucially, he set up a chair in his basement, where he waited, armed, for the teens to enter. This suggested premeditation, not a spontaneous reaction to a threat. Actions During the Break-In: The recordings captured the sounds of the teens entering the house. Smith did not immediately confront them. Instead, he waited and then shot them individually. This contradicted the idea of someone reacting out of immediate fear for their life. Callous Remarks After the Shootings: Perhaps the most damaging aspect of the recordings were Smith's comments after he killed the teenagers. He made callous and insensitive remarks about the victims, showing a lack of remorse and suggesting a degree of satisfaction. These statements painted a picture of someone who was not simply defending himself but had a more malicious intent. The Trial and Conviction: The prosecution argued that Smith's actions and words, as captured on the recordings, demonstrated that he had planned the killings and acted with premeditation. They argued that he did not fear for his life and that his use of deadly force was not justified. The jury ultimately agreed, finding him guilty of second-degree murder. The Aftermath and Debate: The case sparked a national debate about self-defense laws and the limits of justifiable force. It raised complex questions about fear, intent, and the use of deadly force in one's own home. The recordings were central to the case, providing a chilling and intimate glimpse into Smith's mindset and actions. They served as a stark reminder that even in seemingly straightforward cases, the details can be far more nuanced than they initially appear. the significance of the recordings in the Byron David Smith case. They were indeed a crucial piece of evidence that painted a chilling picture of his actions and mindset. Here's a breakdown of the key aspects related to the recordings and the interrogation: The Recordings: Premeditation: The recordings captured Smith's increasing anxiety and preparations in the days leading up to the break-in. He discussed his fears and plans, even setting up a chair in his basement where he waited, armed, for the teens to enter. This strongly suggested premeditation, not a spontaneous reaction to a threat. Actions During the Break-In: The recordings documented the sounds of the teens entering the house. Smith did not immediately confront them. Instead, he waited and then shot them individually. This contradicted the idea of someone acting out of immediate fear for their life. Callous Remarks After the Shootings: Perhaps the most damning aspect of the recordings were Smith's comments after he killed the teenagers. He made callous and insensitive remarks about the victims, showing a lack of remorse and suggesting a degree of satisfaction. These statements painted a picture of someone who was not simply defending himself but had a more malicious intent. The Interrogation: Smith's Initial Account: During his initial interrogation, Smith likely presented a version of events that aligned with his claim of self-defense. He probably emphasized his fear and the perceived threat posed by the intruders. Confronting the Evidence: It's likely that investigators confronted Smith with the audio recordings during the interrogation. This would have forced him to address the inconsistencies between his account and the recorded evidence. Shifting Narrative: It's possible that Smith's narrative may have shifted during the interrogation as he was confronted with the recordings. He might have tried to explain his comments or justify his actions, but the recordings provided powerful evidence against him. Byron David Smith Full Length Home Audio Recording of Double Homicide Contains audio of Smith murdering two teens The Byron David Smith killings occurred on Thanksgiving Day of 2012, when Haile Kifer, 18, and her cousin, Nicholas Brady, 17, broke into the home of Byron David Smith, 64, in Little Falls, Minnesota, in the United States. Smith, armed with a Ruger Mini-14, shot the teens separately and minutes apart as they entered the basement where he was, later stating to police he was worried about them being armed. On November 22, 2012, Smith drove his vehicle down the road, parking it in front of a neighbor's home. Later that day, Kifer and Brady broke into Smith's home. Video surveillance captured the teens casing the property prior to the break-in. By his own account to police, Smith had been visiting neighbors when he saw Kifer, who he suspected was responsible for the burglaries, driving towards his home. Smith then commented that he needed to get ready for her and went back to his home. Upon entering his home, Smith turned on a recording device he owned. He removed the lightbulbs from the ceiling lights and positioned himself in a chair that was obscured from view. He heard the window upstairs break and Brady climb in (captured on audio). Smith then waited in silence for 12 minutes, until Brady began to descend into the basement. Smith shot Brady twice on the stairs, and once in the head after he fell to the bottom of the stairs. Smith then made taunting remarks to Brady's body, wrapped it in a tarp and dragged him into another room. He went upstairs, and 10–15 minutes later, he ran back down into the basement, reloaded his weapon and took up his previous position in the obscured chair. Minutes later, Kifer entered the home and could be heard calling her cousin's name. As she made her way down the stairs, Smith shot her. Wounded, she fell down the stairs, and can be heard on the recording screaming "I'm sorry" and "Oh God"; Smith shot her again, multiple times in the torso and once next to her left eye with a High Standard Double Nine Convertible .22-caliber single-action revolver. He repeatedly called her derogatory names and then dragged her into the other room, tossing her body on top of her cousin's, and shot her one final time under the chin, killing her. The chilling full-length audio recording from Byron David Smith’s home captures a deadly Thanksgiving Day encounter that shocked the nation. Smith, a retired security engineer, recorded the moment he shot and killed two teenage intruders in his Minnesota home. The audio reveals his calculated actions, unsettling monologue, and lack of remorse—raising questions about self-defense, vigilantism, and premeditation. This case ignited a nationwide debate on stand-your-ground laws and the limits of self-defense .Keywords: Byron David Smith, home invasion, self-defense, stand-your-ground, castle doctrine, true crime, chilling audio, full recording, Minnesota shooting, deadly encounter, home security, criminal trial, forensic evidence, murder or self-defense, vigilante justice, controversial case.…

Boyfriend Drags Girlfriend Out Of Walmart and Shoots Her This is a serious and tragic situation. Here's what I can tell you:There have been reports of an incident where a man dragged a woman out of a Walmart store and then shot her. This occurred in Fayetteville, Georgia, on July 17, 2023. The victim, Khaliyah Jones, was a Wingstop employee. The suspect, Cameron Hopkins, was her ex-boyfriend. He was charged with murder, kidnapping, and other offenses. This incident is a clear example of domestic violence escalating to a horrific crime. The Incident: The shooting occurred outside the Walmart in Fayetteville, Georgia, on July 17, 2023. Reports indicate that Cameron Hopkins forcibly removed Khaliyah Jones from the store before shooting her. This public nature of the event likely contributed to its widespread reporting. The Victim: Khaliyah Jones was a young woman working at a nearby Wingstop. News reports often emphasize her as a victim of domestic violence, highlighting the tragic nature of the crime. The Perpetrator: Cameron Hopkins, identified as Khaliyah's ex-boyfriend, was arrested and charged in connection with the shooting. The charges typically included murder, kidnapping (due to the forcible removal from the store), and potentially other related offenses. The "ex-boyfriend" label strongly suggests a history of a relationship, which is a common thread in cases of domestic violence. The Context: The fact that this occurred in broad daylight in a public place like a Walmart is both shocking and, sadly, not uncommon in domestic violence situations. Perpetrators sometimes escalate their abuse in public settings as a means of control and intimidation. This public nature could also indicate a level of desperation or rage on the part of the perpetrator. The Aftermath: Beyond the immediate tragedy for Khaliyah's family and friends, this case likely had a ripple effect on the community. Such acts of violence can create fear and a sense of insecurity. It also serves as a stark reminder of the prevalence of domestic violence and the need for resources and support for victims. Further Investigation: While the arrest and charges are a significant step, the legal process is just beginning. Further investigation would likely delve into the history of the relationship between Jones and Hopkins, looking for any prior instances of abuse or threats. This information could be crucial in understanding the escalation of violence and potentially in the legal proceedings. It's important to remember that news reports provide a snapshot of events. The full story, including the motivations and the complete legal proceedings, will unfold over time. This case, unfortunately, is another example of the devastating consequences of domestic violence, and it underscores the need for continued efforts to prevent such tragedies. Tim Jones - Confesses to Killing his Five Children Full Length Police Interrogation Tim Jones confesses to killing his five children in interview audio played during trial In an audio recording of a police interview played during the trial of Tim Jones contains his confession of killing his five children. LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - After more than three weeks of testimony, a jury has reached a verdict in the trial of Timothy Jones, Jr., a Lexington County man accused of murdering his five children in 2014. The jury concluded that Jones has been found guilty on all five counts of murder in the deaths of his children. The second phase of the proceedings is the sentencing phase and that will begin at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday. Because the state is seeking the death penalty, the jury is now responsible for determining his punishment. The jury had four options for their verdict: guilty, guilty but mentally ill, not guilty by reason of insanity, or not guilty. Jones pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity. A grand jury indicted Jones, Jr. in 2014 on five counts of murder in the deaths of his children – Mera, 8; Elias, 7; Nahtahn, 6; Gabriel, 2; and Abigail, 1. For Mera, Elias, Gabriel, and Abigail, the indictments state the children were killed “by means of strangulation and/or other violent means or instruments.” The bodies of the children were found in garbage bags off of a dirt road in Alabama. Jones, Jr. led authorities to the bodies after being arrested in Mississippi. Jones, who appeared to be under the influence at the time of his arrest, was questioned at the checkpoint by a Smith County, Miss. deputy about an odor of chemicals coming from his vehicle. After further investigation, the deputy found what appeared to be chemicals used to make meth and a street drug known as “Spice.” Investigators also said his Cadillac Escalade was blood-soaked and “smelled of death.” In this chilling courtroom audio, Tim Jones Jr. confesses to the brutal murder of his five children during a police interview. The recording, played during his trial, reveals shocking details about his mindset, the events leading up to the horrific crime, and his disturbing justifications. As investigators press for answers, Jones describes the tragic and unimaginable sequence of events. This case stands as one of the most heartbreaking and disturbing family murders in recent history. Listener discretion is strongly advised. The Ken And Barbie Killers [True Crime Documentary] Karla Homolka, 17, and Paul Bernardo, 23, better known as the Ken and Barbie Killers, first met in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, in October 1987. Bernardo had already started his rape spree back in May. They were so drawn to each other that they had sex within hours of meeting. Two days before Christmas a year later, the couple drugged and assaulted Homolka's younger sister, Tammy, in the basement of her family's house. Homolka gave Bernardo this as a Christmas gift because she couldn't give him her virginity since she had lost it before they met. Tammy died by coughing on her own vomit as a result of the medication, but her death was considered an accident. Bernardo kidnapped and killed Leslie Mahaffy on June 15, 1991, and her dismembered body is discovered a few days later on June 29, 1991, the same day the killers marry. Kristen French, the third teenager, was kidnapped on April 16, 1992, and her nude body was discovered four days later on April 30th. She died as a result of strangulation. Bernardo was not charged with being the Scarborough rapist until February of 1993. More evidence linking the two of them to the murders was discovered, and Homolka agreed to a plea deal, and both of them are charged with the murders of the three girls. In June of 1993, Homolka was found guilty and sentenced to 12 years in prison. Homolka testified against Bernardo in court after the couple divorced in 1994. Bernardo was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison in 1995. Homolka is now out of prison and has three children. She and her second husband are currently residing in Quebec, after spending many years in the Caribbean following Homolka's release. Bernardo, meanwhile, has filed for parole in Toronto, Canada. At the same time, it was revealed that he was planning to marry a Toronto woman whom he had charmed through letters written in his cell. It's unclear if the wedding arrangements are still on. Mothers Day Massacre | Gruesome Murder of Girlfriend and Her Kids | Edward Covington Interrogation This is the full police interrogation of Edward Covington, the Florida man convicted of one of the most gruesome and disturbing murder cases in the state’s history. In 2008, Covington brutally murdered his girlfriend, Lisa Freiberg, along with her two young children and their family pets in a horrifying act of violence. Detectives press him for answers, uncovering chilling details about his mindset and motives. Watch as investigators break down his disturbing confessions and piece together the evidence in this shocking true crime case. Viewer discretion is strongly advised. Edward Covington, who killed his girlfriend and her two children, sentenced to death TAMPA — Seven years after a triple homicide that Hillsborough County's sheriff called the grisliest he had ever seen, a judge on Friday sentenced Edward Covington to death for the murder of his girlfriend and her two children. In a rejection of defense attorneys' arguments that Covington is mentally ill and should be spared the death penalty, the judge found that death was the appropriate punishment for one of the goriest homicide cases in Hillsborough's history. Covington, 42, absorbed the sentence impassively, surrounded by stone-faced lawyers. Outside the courtroom, Barbara Freiberg, the victims' mother and grandmother, said she approved of the judge's ruling, though she acknowledged it would likely entail years, if not decades, of appeals. "There's a relief knowing that he's going to get what he gave my children," she said. On May 12, 2008, Freiberg opened the door to her daughter Lisa's mobile home in Lutz and encountered a blood-soaked crime scene. Lisa Freiberg, 26, and her two children, Zachary Freiberg, 7, and Heather Savannah Freiberg, 2, had been beaten, choked and stabbed. Authorities said Covington had attacked the family with a hammer and knife. After killing the children, he dismembered their bodies. Sheriff's deputies found Covington, a former prison guard, cowering in a closet, wearing nothing but underwear and covered in scratches and traces of blood. Charged with three counts of first-degree murder, three counts of abuse of a dead body and one count of animal abuse for killing the family's dog, Covington sat in prison for years, waiting for his day in court. But when his trial began last fall, he stunned everyone, including the public defenders representing him, by abruptly firing them and announcing that he would plead guilty. "I expect you to sentence me to death," he told Hillsborough Circuit Judge William Fuente, adding that this was the sentence he would choose for himself. "I feel it's warranted. The Freibergs feel it's warranted. The state feels it's warranted. I have no problem with this." Covington's decision to forgo a jury trial left his fate entirely with the judge and prompted Fuente to issue a stern warning. He had encountered a similar situation only once before in his career, he told Covington, and he sentenced that defendant to death. On Friday, after more than six months of reviewing court transcripts and medical records, Fuente said the horrifying manner in which the three victims were killed outweighed the defense argument that Covington was driven by mental illness. From the outset of the case, Covington's lawyers portrayed him as a deeply disturbed man who, at the time of the murders, was not taking prescribed medications to control his bipolar disorder. Medical records showed that by age 15, he was taking the mood stabilizer lithium. His mother testified that throughout his teenage years and into adulthood, he swung wildly between periods of high energy and deep depression, was repeatedly hospitalized and tried to commit suicide multiple times. By the time his case went to trial, he was taking four different medications — Depakote, Seroquel, Zoloft and Klonopin. The Murder Of Cari Farver True Crime Documentary Cari Lea Farver, a 37-year-old Iowa woman, was last seen leaving her lover Dave Kroupa's house in Omaha, Nebraska, on her way to work. Her mother reported her missing to the Pottawattamie County Sheriff's Office in Council Bluffs, Iowa, a few days later, but the investigation was soon went cold. Farver appeared to be alive and well on Facebook, but because authorities couldn't authenticate that the posts were written by her, she was still listed as a missing person. Shanna "Liz" Golyar was arrested and charged with her murder on December 22, 2016. Golyar was charged with first-degree murder and accused by prosecutors of posing as Farver online to conceal her crime. According to the Omaha World-Herald, shortly after Golyar's arrest, police said they thought Farver was killed on November 13 or 14. Despite the fact that Farver's body has yet to be discovered, prosecutors claim Golyar's memory card had images of Farver's decomposing foot, which had a tattoo, and thigh. According to KETV, Golyar was also found to have written an email detailing the murder from a bogus account posing as another woman. Golyar said in those emails that Farver had been stabbed in the chest and stomach, burned, and then thrown in a dumpster. On May 24, 2017, Golyar was convicted guilty of Farver's first-degree murder and second-degree arson. “Cari Farver did not willfully disappear and drop off the face of the Earth,” Douglas County Judge Timothy Burns stated after reading the decision, according to KETV. The Disappearance Of Heather Elvis - True Crime Documentary Heather Elvis, a twenty-year-old woman, went out on her date on December 17th, 2013. At roughly 1:15 a.m., her date dropped her off. Heather received a call from a former flame, Sidney Moorer, using a payphone, according to the investigation. Heather had been having an affair with Moorer, who was married at the time and was 38 years old. Sidney cut all communication with Heather after Moorer's wife discovered the affair, however his wife Tammy continued to harass and threaten her. Heather called her roommate after receiving the call from Moorer, stating that he wanted to meet up with her. Heather's roommate urged her against going. The call lasted about two minutes and Heather's roomate never heard from her again. Heather's car was discovered two days after she was reported missing. It was parked sideways at the Peachtree Landing Boat Launch. None of her missing possessions, including her pocketbook, keys, and phone, were found while the car was locked. Heather was not located despite extensive searches of the ocean and surrounding terrain. Heather's travels were tracked by cell phone records that night, but they all ended at 3:41 a.m. While Sidney and Tammy denied having spoken to Heather, surveillance footage revealed that Sidney had contacted her the night she vanished. Between 3:36 and 3:46 a.m., traffick cameras captured an image of a truck, the same model and color as Sidney's, driving to and from the boat launch. The Moorers were shrouded in suspicion for a long period, but law enforcement was unable to compile enough evidence to press charges. However, on February 21, 2014, investigators served a search warrant on their home. Sidney and Tammy were both arrested and charged with kidnapping, murder, obstruction of justice, and indecent exposure at the conclusion of the search. A grand jury indicted Tammy and Sidney on counts of kidnapping in April of 2018. Tammy was sentenced to thirty years in prison in the end. When Sidney was found guilty in 2019, he received the same sentence. heather elvis body found, heather elvis, heather elvis kidnapping, true story, tammy moorer trial, sidney moorer retrial, tammy moorer, sidney moorer…
