Titilola Dawudu speaks to playwrights, actors and directors who are making waves in UK theatre, have a view of the ever changing landscape of the industry, and are keen to explore what the future might look like for ethnically diverse artists. With subjects ranging from Covid-19, identity, race and mental health, each episode features a performed monologue from hit book, "Hear Me Now - Audition Monologues for Actors of Colour", or a new monologue specially commissioned for the podcast. Highlighting career pathways and opportunities for artists with the aim of bridging the gap for underrepresented artists, guests including Winsome Pinnock, Shiv Jalota, Endy McKay, Heather Agyepong and Jumoke Fashola ignite honest and open conversations about all things theatre. Brought to you by Tamasha Theatre Company with Titilola Dawudu, in partnership with Afridiziak Theatre News and supported by The London Community Response Fund (City Bridge Trust).
