In “The Economy of Faith IV: Utterance,” we explore one of the most powerful and underrated tools in a believer’s faith arsenal— words. This episode unpacks how your utterances aren’t just communication—they are spiritual instruments that shape your reality and advance God’s purposes. Here’s what you’ll learn: 📍 In the economy of faith, knowing how to use your words is crucial. Your tongue has creative power, and your utterances either align with heaven or give space to deception. 📍 To speak with spiritual authority, you must first recognize the nature of the enemy. The devil’s most consistent strategy is deception. Scriptures like Revelation 12:9, John 8:44, and Acts 13:10 reveal that lying and misleading are his primary tactics—not just sin in general, but specifically falsehood and slander , especially against God. 📍 Many believers overlook the fact that the devil is not just evil—he’s also a master manipulator of words. He distorts truth, spreads false doctrine, and influences conversations subtly to derail faith. 📍 There are two spiritual lineages in this world: the children of God and the children of the devil. And both speak—they both release utterances that carry spiritual weight. As believers, we must stay sensitive and discerning. 📍 Words are not neutral. There’s a spirit behind every utterance —either energizing faith or fueling deception. The Bible shows us how spirits can persuade or influence speech (1 Kings 22:21–22, Isaiah 19:13–14), reminding us to test every voice. 📍 When the enemy speaks through people—through lies, slander, or discouragement—you must respond in faith. Use your utterance as a weapon to counteract deception and anchor yourself in truth. This episode is a call to spiritual awareness: not just to speak more , but to speak with power . Learn how to identify the voice of deception, activate divine speech, and use your faith-filled words to chart the course of your destiny.…

In this powerful episode titled “The Economy of Faith: The Supernatural Creativity,” we dive deep into how faith is not just a tool for survival but a divine economy that fuels creativity and restoration. Drawing from 2 Peter 2:4-5, Apostle lays the foundation for understanding how God has always empowered His people with supernatural creativity, especially in moments of chaos and corruption. You’ll learn how: 📌 The 66 books of the Bible are divinely inspired and sufficient, serving as the framework for spiritual truth and creative expression. At the same time, other writings can offer supplementary insights, but they are not Spirit-breathed. 📌 The Bible was written for us but not to us—meaning the original audience had cultural and historical context that we must understand to grasp the depth of Scripture (Jude 1:14, 1 Peter 3:9). When properly interpreted, the Bible becomes a timeless source of divine creativity and purpose. 📌 Baptism isn’t just a ritual—it’s a symbol of rescue and new creation. Just as water once destroyed humanity’s enemies in Noah’s time, faith in Jesus now brings us out of judgment and into new life (1 Peter 3:21). 📍 The flood in Noah’s time wasn’t just a story of destruction—it was actually God’s method of preservation . Noah and his family, described as the last “pure humans,” became vessels through which God preserved true humanity. 📍 Fallen angels corrupted humanity by introducing forbidden knowledge—weaponry, idolatry, transhumanity, and other distorted ideologies. But where darkness brought counterfeit power, faith brings supernatural creativity that restores and reclaims God’s original design. 📍 The ark was more than just salvation—it was a prophetic picture of counter-creativity , a divine reset. Just as God used Noah to preserve true humanity, He empowers believers today to bring restoration through Spirit-led creativity. This episode challenges you to rethink creativity—not as a natural talent alone, but as a divine resource tied to your faith. You were made to build, restore, and innovate in alignment with heaven’s blueprint. Don’t just consume this message—allow it to activate the supernatural economy of faith in your life.…

To truly understand faith, we need to study the people whose faith Jesus personally commended—and surprisingly, none of them were Jews. In this episode, we dive into the stories of the Roman centurion, the Canaanite woman, and the ten lepers, uncovering what made their faith stand out. Apostle shares a powerful insight: overfamiliarity with faith teachings can dull our expectations from God. So, how do we break free from unbelief? By reflecting on past divine encounters and curating biblical stories of those who triumphed through faith. Let these lessons reignite your expectation and trust in God.…

In the Old Testament, access to God followed a strict protocol. Israel was the first nation God called His own. Despite their imperfections, God still gave them His law and chose them as His people. But even within Israel, not everyone had access; God chose people by grace. But now, through Christ, the veil has been torn. The old protocols are no longer barriers. We have direct access to God, not by lineage, but by faith. He is God to everyone, but Father to us.…

- The story of Jacob was one with a legacy of faith as he blessed Joseph’s sons. He didn’t speak of wealth or success, but rather spoke of God — the One who shepherded him all his life. (Genesis 48:15-16) - The word Angel is a blanket term, and in some places, the “Angel of the Lord” is God Himself. (Genesis 31:11-13, Genesis 22:11-18, Joshua 5:14) - Jude 1:5 ESV says it was Jesus who saved the people out of Egypt. This is a progression in revelation, from the “Angel of the Lord” to the Lord Himself. oreshadowed from the beginning. Satan has no legal right over God’s people. However, it is our job to continually trample on him as a believer. Apostle Iren said before we can trample on Satan, we must first see him, Satan, as fallen. He further emphasized that just because we are born again, does not mean we are free from the devil and his strategies. We must actively exercise our authority against him and his cohorts (1 Peter 5:8, Luke 10:19).Two types of authority 📝 Legal authority: God has won for us through his victory over the devil. 📝 Positional authority: Which deals with who are, and which we have to continually exercise. Jesus emphasized this to Nicodemus in John 3:5-7. As believers, we must understand the power we have on the inside is much more powerful than any problem we would ever face (Ephesians 1:19). Rounding up the sermon, Apostle Iren taught us that when it comes to withstanding the enemy, who you are in Christ is the most important thing.…

Know Your Enemy (KYE) He emphasized that in spiritual warfare, understanding the enemy’s limitations and tendencies is important (2 Corinthians 2:11). Apostle Iren reminded us that we already know who the devil is—a liar, a murderer, and a thief (John 8:44, Revelation 12:9, 1 Samuel 17:34-35). Using the story of David and Goliath, he illustrated a key principle: spiritual warfare is won by spiritual tactics. The reason King Saul allowed a boy (David) to face a giant (Goliath) was because of his resume and not by faith (1 Samuel 16:18; Judges 20:15-16). David vs. Goliath was a fair fight because David knew his enemy. Goliath was big but slow, and David used his sling strategically to win from a distance. What We Should Know About Satan and His Angels: 📍 They are not eternal: Only God is truly eternal. 📍 They are not everlasting: They exist only because God allows it. 📍 They are not all-knowing: You can outsmart Satan. Key questions that demonstrate God hid His wisdom. 📍 Why didn’t the Jews recognize that salvation would come as a political revolution? 📍 Why didn’t they know the Messiah would die and rise again? 📍 Why didn’t they realize the Messiah was God Himself? 📍Why did God hide this wisdom? So that the devil and his agents wouldn’t act against His divine plan (1 Corinthians 2:8).He further stated that God was intentional at concealing His wisdom such that only He can interpret His word. God can hide His plan for your life from you, from the devil to protect you because even though it’s a divine plan, if it should leak prematurely, it will be altered. Your faith should not stand in the wisdom of man but in the wisdom of God. He rounded up by giving us two key takeways on trusting God: 📍You can trust Him: On purpose, He will keep the future obscure and the revelation is on your dependence on Him. 📍Allow God grow on you: Build your muscle, build your stamina, and don’t skip processes.…

In the morning session, Day 2 of CAMPUS INVASION, Pastor Emmanuel Iren taught on "Things to know when preparing for the future." Apostle opened the sermon teaching by saying there must be a balance of wisdom and power in preparing for the future. He used his life as a critical example of a strong manifestation of the wisdom of God. He further stated that there are things we must learn and do early in preparing for the future. The first point discussed was to MAKE RELATIONSHIP CHOICES BRILLIANTLY. Apostle made us understand that there are things that are accrued to us not by intelligence but by relationships. He added that if one is poor with relationships, one will hinder the move of God in one's life. The spirit and power to discern has been given to men, and thus, we must build the right and healthy relationship. An example examined was Abraham, who was hospitable to the angels of his blessings. Luke 24:28 Apostle further admonished us to be of good behaviour and be hospitable. He emphasized that there are many encounters one would miss if one is not hospitable. He added that some angelic encounters are provoked by hospitality, not only by praying and fasting. He said that the world thrives on relationships and thus, we should not treat people less and we should not be arrogant. In addition, Apostle spoke on three levels of relationship that we must be conscious about 📍1. Relationship with mentors 📍2. Relationship with peers/people 📍3. Relationship with proteges He stated that some people do not have the wisdom to maintain greatness, even if introduced to it. He emphasized that we should watch our tongue. Sometimes our tongue is a hindrance to God's blessing. Apostle added that foolishness can destroy relationships. We must watch our tongue and character. In our relationship with people, we must be able to discern and be wise, "Not everybody who is looking up to you will remain there". He made us understand that "if there's any great person that took interest in you and suddenly start to avoiding you, take note, you are doing something wrong." He admonished us to reposition ourselves to be a person of value. Furthermore, Apostle taught on MARRIAGE as an important relationship we must get right, and if gotten wrong, it can destroy every other thing. He said that marrying the wrong person is equivalent to 'zero'. And urge us to be careful while choosing a life partner. As a guide, Apostle said we should not choose and judge a partner by what we like, but judge them by what we do not like and manage. Watch the excesses! In addition, Apostle spoke on BRAVERY. A cognitive point he gave is that one cannot be a success without being curious. We must master bravery. Learn to speak up for ourselves and do not avoid confrontation. He emphasized that "no one will believe you if you do not believe in yourself". Learn to be brave and believe in yourself! Lastly, Apostle spoke on an important thing to learn early in preparing for the future, which was to LEARN HOW TO PRAY. He started by saying life is spiritual, and it is a must to learn how to pray in order to survive. He admonished us to have a prayer life. We must build capacity in the place of prayer, that it would be evident to all. He said prayer gives power, and thus, we must know God and activate power in the place of prayer. References were made to 1 Kings 18:5, Prov 22:29, establishing us as kings whose service bestows authority in the presence of God. Apostle further implored us to make prayer a habit, interact, and learn boldness in the place of prayer. Most importantly, he stated that we must learn to pray in tongues. He made us understand the mystery of utterances. Psalms 104:3-4. We speak under the influence of the Holy Ghost in our consciousness. Through the auction of the Holy Ghost, utterances are inspired - Acts 2:3. Thus; every time we speak in tongues, we partner with the Holy Ghost, as a step in preparation for our future.…

Don't waste your life. He started the sermon by laying emphasis on three key points based on purpose and the pursuit of purpose to fulfilling destiny 📍Purpose 📍 Assignment 📍Timing Apostle proceeded by starting from the third point, which was TIMING. Timing can by classified by seasons in one’s life. He likened the season of man to agricultural season of growth. He further stated that there are specific seasons in one’s life and in order not to miss each season, we must be sensitive to each season. Apostle highlighted the different seasons in Agriculture and likened it to different seasons in man’s life. They include the Spring, which was planting, where one must put in the effort in achieving purpose. Summer- nurturing and growth, which is the period one must pass through to grow. Autumn- the period of harvest, the stage where one gets results. Apostle further placed emphasis on the concept of timing by saying that if we want to harvest, achieve purpose, one must plan for it i.e plant. And time does not forgive. If you miss a particular season of your life, you’ve missed it. We must get it right once! Also, he stated that some assignment given to us are by God are time specific. Placing more emphasis on getting it once. Do it now and give no room for distraction. Lamentations 3:27, Eph 5:16. Secondly, Apostle started by saying assignment was our career path that contributes to society. He shed more light on Career paths by imploring young minds to figure out the right path by doing research, having foresight, and also looking through legal areas in getting a career. Furthermore, he guided us on how to know the career path to choose. 📍1. Starting early Be curious about how things work. Try new things out and give it your best. 📍2. Study your environment He stated that in choosing a career, study your environment and create opportunities to help mankind. Strategically place yourself for new invention. Lastly, Apostle expatiated on the third point, PURPOSE. He started by letting us know that as a child of God, straying from purpose is a big sin. He said that God can destroy everything when we stray from purpose. Gen 11:4 He gave a definition for Purpose, which was “Purpose is that one thing for which we were created and that we must succeed in, otherwise nothing else will succeed that would count. Apostle added that our purpose is not a career, but one’s career can be used as a vehicle to achievingthe purpose of which is attained through scarifices. He also stated that “a man of purpose will be happy in purpose, and purpose is not happiness”. To end with, Phil 1:21, Apostle established purpose in our lives as knowing Christ and making him known. He made us understand that the devil is a thief of purpose. Eph 2:8-9 Any effort in our lives should speak workmanship to others; salvation. We must see people do things for Jesus and be inspired to do the same. Live a life of Christ and for Christ to achieve purpose!…

📍 Whatever virtues you have in Christ that seems to be hidden can be brought to the surface with Joy. Whatever virtue you want to see in your walk with God, Joy can amplify it. Isaiah 12:3. 📍 The prophets in the Old Testament were also instrumentalists - the Levites. They were psalmists. There was something about Joy that causes the oil to flow. 📍 Every day, wake up and be obsessed about how blessed you are in Christ and move with thanksgiving. Philippians 4:6. 📍 Put Joy first, not as the effect but as the cause. Joy is how you make things happen, not how you respond. With Joy, you shall draw! Isaiah 12:3. 📍 Sometimes, the step of faith will make you look like a nuisance. Indulge in the things of the spirit. This is the protocol of the Kingdom - Joy is not the response, it is the trigger. 📍 In the word, you rejoice to win battles. Shout, for the Lord has given you the city. Joshua 6:16. 📍 When you find yourself surrounded by impossible situations, make Joy your protocol. Sing and shout for joy! When you do that, the Holy Ghost will hover over and around the situation. Job 38:7 📍 When God wants to bring you out of a situatio, he sometimes gives you a song. That’s a weapon. That is your ticket out. Psalm 149:5-9 📍 If men of the senses sang as they went to war. How much more you, who is of the spirit? Why are you afraid? Receive chants of the spirit and go rejoicing! ✨ If God be for us, who can be against us? 📍 You’re worried because some part of your flesh is telling you the challenge is bigger than you. It’s high time you started bragging about the size of your God! 💪🏾💪🏾 As you step into this week, remember to make Joy the trigger, not just your response. Stay rejoicing always! 💃🏾💃🏾…

‘Joy As a Weapon’! It was indeed an insightful time! 🔥🔥 We learnt that anxiety and depression often thrive in fear and uncertainty, but joy, rooted in God’s truth, can be a powerful weapon against them. How To Fight With The Weapon Of Joy. 1. Remember Whose Battle It Is. The battle is not yours, but God’s. (2 Chronicles 20:15) 2. Use Joy as a Weapon of Preparation. Joy gives you strength to endure and persevere. Jesus endured the cross because of the joy set before Him. (Hebrews 12:2) 3. Put on the Garment of Praise. Praise shifts your focus from pain to God’s power. “To give them the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.” (Isaiah 61:3)…

Activating Angelic Ministry Part IV “Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?” Hebrews 1:14 O ne important thing to know about angels is that the term “Angel” is a job description that simply means one who is sent. We see in scripture that men, pastors and even God were called Angels. Four things you may not know about angels: 👉🏽 Angel is not their only name. 👉🏽 They are neither eternal nor everlasting: To be eternal is to have neither beginning nor end. Only One is eternal - God. - Psalms 82:6 👉🏽They have free will: In Job Job 4:18, Job 15:15-16 we see examples of the fact that Angels have free will and can fall. Isaiah 24:21 NKJV God is not only going to judge men on earth, but the hosts of heavens. 👉🏽Nowhere in the Bible are we told that angels have wings: Throughout the Bible, they manifested as men, wind, fire. Seven things angels can do for you: 👉🏽 They can intercede for you - Zechariah 1:12, Revelation 8:3-4 👉🏽 Angels can expel demons - Revelations 12:7, Daniel 10:13, 20 👉🏽God uses angels to give believers strength Isaiah 40:29-31, Daniel 10:18-19 👉🏽 God can send His angels to give you insights - Daniel 9:20-22 👉🏽The Angel of God can give/influence utterance - 1 Kings 22:22 👉🏽Angels come with messages or the decree of the watchers - Daniel 4:17 👉🏽Angels can execute Divine judgement - Acts 12:21-23…

Angelic ministry is activated through sacrifice, obedience, and alignment with God’s will. We learned that divine encounters often birth God’s plans in our lives. We also learned that: 📒 Sacrifice and honor invite angelic manifestations (Luke 1:11, Judges 6:21, 1 Chronicles 22:15-16). 📒 God is committed to His own plans; we exist for Him, not the other way around. True access to the supernatural comes through alignment with His purpose (Daniel 10:21, Hebrews 11). 📒 The biggest prayer you can pray is, “God, how can I serve in what You are doing?” To walk in continual angelic ministry, we must: 📘Raise an altar of prayer – Consistency in prayer activates angelic response (Daniel 10). A set time and place create a spiritual gateway for encounters. 📘 Offer a sacrifice of praise – Worship builds an atmosphere for angelic activity (Hebrews 13:15, Psalm 141:2). 📘 Walk in obedience and faith – Faith is consecration for God’s plan (Ephesians 5:2, Philippians 4:18). Obedience to divine instructions keeps us in alignment with His will. 📘 Commit to service – There is a level of glory that only comes through devotion and sacrifice (Revelation 6:9-10). 📚 Key Scriptures → Psalm 104:4, Judges 13, Luke 1:11, Judges 6:21, 1 Chronicles 22:15-16, Daniel 10:21, Hebrews 13:15, Psalm 141:2, Philippians 4:18.…

Our Apostle taught on understanding and activating angelic ministry. He shared insights into the nature, function, and impact of angels. Here are the main takeaways: 📒 We learned that while angels are powerful spiritual beings, they respond to honor and obedience. Angels have different names in the Bible and are described by their nature, function, and hierarchy (Psalm 104:1-4). 📒 We were reminded that angels can take many forms, moving freely without limitations of time or space. Their role as messengers and protectors is vital in our lives. When we activate angelic ministry, we invite divine protection and guidance. We also learned that angels influence our lives in ways we may not even realize—preventing accidents, shifting moods, and orchestrating divine interventions. One key way to activate angelic ministry is by aligning ourselves with God’s will. When we recognize His work and invite it into our lives, angels are set in motion to help us! ___________ 📚 Key Scriptures → Exodus 14:19-20, Isaiah 13:19, Isaiah 19:13, 1 Kings 22:19-21, John 11:49-51…

Joy is a Seed II ✨ He emphasized that the desire for enjoyment was created by God and He has created eternal pleasures for us in Him. Here are a few key notes from the sermon: 📌 In God’s presence, there is fullness of joy. True pleasure is found in God. He is our source of joy, and we should enjoy spending time in His presence—whether in prayer, worship, or fellowship. (Psalm 16:11) 📌 God created the desire for enjoyment. The longing for joy and fulfillment comes from God. He gave us the ability to experience pleasure in work, in relationships and in the things He has given us. (1 Timothy 6:17)📌 Joy and productivity go hand in hand. God’s presence doesn’t only bring joy, it equips us for profitable labor. Worship is not just in singing and dancing, it’s in the way we live. We worship God with our diligence in work and stewardship of resources. (Matthew 5:16) 📌 God is a happy God. The Bible calls God a blessed (happy) God. He delights in us, rejoices over us, and desires that we walk in His joy. (Zephaniah 3:17, 1 Timothy 1:11) 📌 Joy is part of our culture as believers. As believers joy is not optional, it’s a part of our identity. We have been designed us to be a happy people, and have been called to a life of joy. As we step into this new week, let’s remember to choose JOY. Walk in it, spread it, and let the world see the happiness of our Father reflected in us!…

In the school of the Spirit, there’s a way to respond. You can be a master in the subject of peace. You can become more fluent in the language of faith. Colossians 3:15 tells us to let the peace of God rule in our hearts and this means two things: 1. Peace is not an event. It’s not out of your control. 2. Peace is up to you. You can give it permission. You can decide that you’re going to allow peace reign. A perfect example is Jesus Christ on the cross. Luke 23:28 ✨ There’s a level of training required in mastering peace. If the Bible tells you “let peace reign” (Colossians 3:15), it’s because it’s possible. MISTAKES MANY CHURCHES MAKE IN THE NAME OF DEMONSTRATION OF FAITH 1. We deny facts in the name of faith. Be like Jesus in Matthew 26:38 2. We’re not trained to expect challenges We do not know what tomorrow holds. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” (James 4:14-15) Like Jesus, you must have the humility in prayer where you say “nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” Matthew 26:39 THREE THINGS YOU’LL PROBABLY EXPERIENCE AT SOME POINT IN YOUR LIFE: 1. Being financially broke The revelation of the Rehoboth is not complete until you know how to move on from losses. Genesis 26:22; 1 Timothy 6:17. 2. Sickness You will need your strength to stand and fight. Philippians 2:25-28. When you hear bad news, rehearse your response. 3. Heartbreak This is beyond romantic heartbreaks. At some point in your life, people will disappoint you. Learn to handle it. HERE’S HOW TO MASTER PEACE 📍 Rehearse what you can control God showed Joseph the years of famine that would come. Joseph didn’t “pray it away” but started planning. ✨ Have a good savings culture. It is part of stewardship to the Lord not to spend it all. Budget generosity. Don’t eat your capital or give it away. Manage what you can control and embrace what’s beyond your control. There are some things only God can intervene and that’s okay. WAYS GOD EXPECT YOU TO HANDLE TOUGH TIMES 1. Remember His faithfulness in the past To do otherwise is to be of little faith. Matthew 16:10-11. ✨ God expects you to look into your past and find evidence of his faithfulness, wear it like an armor, and brag against Goliath. 2. Worship You worship because: 📍 You trust his providence 📍 You trust his power ✨ No matter what you’re going through, it’s a small thing for God. There’s nothing He cannot do or change. Nothing is too difficult for him. James 1:2. Habakkuk 3:17 3. Remember he works creative miracles What seems insufficient can multiply. There’s an act of Joy that’s only by faith. Job 38:7. You see God working behind the scenes, so you respond by faith. As you continue with the rest of this week, remember that peace is not something out of your control. It can be mastered!…

Honoring God Through Action and Hospitality 🔅 We learned that while prayer invokes favor, it is the work of our hands that God blesses (Luke 4:24-27). We learned that honor and hospitality are key to unlocking God’s blessings in our lives. God’s promises may not be fulfilled unless we walk in honor (Luke 24:28-29). We were reminded that we often encounter spirit beings, even angels and that our hospitality can have a powerful impact. 🔅 One of the biggest secrets of success is God is moving in a ministry in your midst and you partake in it. The biggest hack for divine blessing is siding with God. When you see God doing something, side with God. 🔅 We also learnt from Jesus teaching in Matthew 10:40, that when we receive someone in His name, we receive a prophet’s reward. How we treat God’s messengers matters deeply to Him. 🔅 We were encouraged to actively participate in what God is doing around us, not waiting for a special call. Generosity, whether financial or through hospitality, attracts God’s favor and angels. We were reminded to be part of where God is moving.…

How not to backslide: 🔸 Opening text: Genesis chapter 3 🔅 Ungodly exposure. (Genesis 3:22) There is a type of company we should not keep. What did God mean when he named the tree; the knowledge of good or evil? (Deuteronomy 1:39) The devil has done evil and God witnessed it. God does not want his children to experience it. Even though we are a people of prayer, there are somethings we are better off not knowing or experiencing. 🔅 The devils strategy is to make us feel a life of boundary is a life of restrictions. What is for our protection should not be seen as a restriction. The devil can make you feel like you are missing something. When the devil begins to change your perspective, or when the devil gets somebody who has influence over you, we must be able to see the devil far off and shut the door. How to protect your Christian fervent: C - conviction R - religion A - assimilation F - fellowship T - training 🔹 Conviction - You must know the Bible. Attend a church that takes knowledge seriously to be a person of conviction. To protect your conviction, you must have a system. Take devotion seriously. (Daniel 1:18 - consecration) 🔹 Religion - Life always impacts lifestyle. 🔹 Assimilation - the word Zerubabel means planted in Babylon. Don’t be small. 🔹 Fellowship - You will do better in the company of like minds. (Hebrews 10:25) What makes you a strong Christian are the days you don’t feel like praying and yet you do! Your safety is in company. 🔹 Training - In every environment we must follow (Matthew 28:19) Power is for witnesses.…

There are two miraculous encounters we should expect in every meeting: 🔹 El Eoi meaning God sees us. In every meeting, we should expect it to be so perfectly tailored by kairos that it feels like it was designed just for you. There is a deeper direction and a greater dimension. 🔹 There is Peniel - I have seen God face to face. When God sees you, your situation changes and When you see God, you change. In the book of Isiah 53:12 (Jesus surrendered himself to die) The question now is why? What is the purpose of Christ? Why did He die for us? Isiah prophesied; 🔸 for our iniquities, 🔸 for our transgressions, 🔸 and by his stripes we are healed. 🔹 Jesus' stripes gave us access to the Father. He that sins, is a servant of sin. Romans 5:1-2 (we boast in Christ Jesus. What Christ has done should give us boldness, audacity) The Lord has given us access. 🔹 Forgiveness of sins. The gift of God is eternal life. The Joy of the Lord. He emphasized the importance of protecting our joy, and while we may face situations that trigger anger or sadness beyond our control, we can always control our response. People may hurt us, but we must take ownership of our reactions and safeguard our joy. (Nehemiah 6:3) 6 Things to Know About Biblical Joy; 📌 Joy is a possession. It is an asset that must be protected. No matter the situation, your response should reflect joy. (John 16:22) 📌 Joy is faith in the providence of God. Trust that all things work together for your good. (Romans 8:28; Genesis 50:20) 📌 Joy is our difference. Your joy is powered by Christ. If you have Christ, you have everything. (Romans 14:17; James 1:2-3)📌 Pain must be expected. To truly demonstrate the joy of the Lord, trials and tribulations are inevitable. (John 16:33; Psalm 23:4) 📌 Joy is our decision and perspective. Three things to draw from Genesis about marriage: 1. To have a happy home, you must be ready to die to self. A good home must be borne out of a dead man. Genesis 2:21. You cannot truly love another selflessly and rightly according to God's standards until you die to self. You must practice forgiveness and forgive even those who do not deserve forgiveness. Ephesians 4:32. You must learn to lose a battle to win a war: pick your battles. It is part of oneness that you let go of your privileges. 2. Purpose: God gave Adam a job before he gave him a spouse which points to the fact that one of the ways to have a happy home is to get an office. Genesis 2:15. God did not design us to be idle, if you are, you are straining from God's natural order because Idleness is dangerous. Build support systems for each other apart from each other. Find wise older women to befriend and find wise older men for your husband to befriend. 3. Man is the head of the home: psychologically, when a woman is with the right man, she’ll let him lead. Ephesians 5:22, Colossians 3:18-22. Don’t marry a man whose leadership you do not trust. 4. There is a level of sacrifice and empathy required to make marriage work. When you notice that you’re falling out of love, you need to learn that love is a command. Acting like a man “in love” he became in love. Look at your woman and “call her” what you want her to be. Call your partner what God has called them. Change your perspective. Be a doer and not just a hearer.…

PHILOPHOBIA - the fear of falling in love. This is the fear of vulnerability or emotional dependence. It makes you want to avoid relationships or end relationships abruptly due to fear that things are beginning to get deep. Key points to note: 📍 Foreknowledge is not the same as predestination. The fact that God knows that something will happen doesn't mean that he has destined for it to happen. 📍 God is sovereign and has also given man free will. Both can coexist. This sovereign God respects that free will to the degree that he wants all men to be saved. But not all men are. Luke 19. 📍 Understanding that even Jesus respects free will can guide you in navigating relationships. No matter how much you love people, they will be product of their own choices. THINGS HEARTBREAK AFFECTS ✨ The need for pleasure ✨ The need for connection ✨ The need for control ✨ The need for esteem The only way forward is to accept the Providence of God - to trust him with the outcomes of your life. When your heart is broken, remember Psalm 147:3 - He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds…

FAQs About Biblical Marriages Teacher: Apostle Emmanuel Iren 📌 Does God choose spouses for people? 🔸As a person, you are to ensure that the fundamental principles that a marriage should be hinged on are still present. For instance, the other person should choose you, and be attracted to you. It takes more than a divine choice for a marriage to work. 📌 When you get a divine leading that seems to contradict moral order, it’s normal to ask “How shall these things be?” 🔸 That’s the difference between Zechariah and Mary. They both asked the same question, but Zechariah was married so he was supposed to be expecting a child because they had prayed for one. So his asking the Angel was a sign of unbelief. Mary on the other hand was not married yet so it was okay for her to ask the question. 📌 Beware of manipulation. Many people try to manipulate other people who may not be on their social level by subscribing to a higher power. 🔸 In Hosea 3: 1, we see that God instructed Hosea to love his wife, rather than being dictatorial. This means that there is a need to establish friendship and love. 📌 Being married to a Christian spouse doesn’t take away the hard work in marriage. Anointed people can quarrel, hence the reason you need to end up with an emotionally mature person. Don’t allow people to use God as an excuse to abuse you. 📌 “God said” does not take away the hard work of marriage. It doesn’t make it any easier. In Acts 13: 2- we see that even though it was the Holy Ghost that separated Paul and Barnabas, they had a fallout and the contention was sharp. 📌 How did the man realize that he needed a help meet? In the process of naming the animals, Adam knew he needed a help meet. He named each animal, male and female, and then Adam realized there was no second of his kind. 🔸 God knows how to lead us in a way that we realize that what we want for ourselves is what he wants for us. 📌 Can a Pastor choose for you? 🔸 On the authority of God’s word, a pastor can tell you who to not marry, but for key decisions in your life, you need to learn to hear God for yourself. 📌 On confirmation In a family, God doesn’t speak to only you when it comes to decisions that will affect everyone in a family. There’s every biblical justification to seek confirmation from the Word. The same angel that spoke to Mary, spoke to Joseph as well. 🔸 You’re allowed to ask for clarifications when you don’t understand because God is dependable when it comes to communication. He is faithful. 📌 How then do I choose the right spouse? Proverbs 31 wasn’t written to women. It was directed to a man to teach him to know how to choose. As a man, this is who you should choose, and as a woman, this is the kind of wife you should be: 🔸 A woman who knows how to watch her words - Proverbs 31:26. “She opens her mouth with wisdom and on her tongue is the law of kindness.” A woman or ma who is brash with her/his words will not be beautiful or handsome to you. As a woman, you should learn to regulate your emotions. 🔸 Loyalty - Proberbs31:11 “The heart of her husband safely trusts her.” As a woman, no man should observe you and think he can easily get in between your relationship. Even if you respect many men, prioritize your partner. 🔸 A homemaker - Proverbs 31:21 “She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household is clothed with scarlet.” Don’t delegate everything to a house help as a mother. Get to know your children and spend time with your family. 🔸 An industrious woman - Proverbs 31:16 “She considers a field and buys it; From her profits she plants a vineyard.” And to the men, don’t embrace all the perks of leadership, without sacrifice. Proverbs 31:23 Only a good man will get a Proverbs 31 woman.…

Storm Proof Pst Laju began by teaching that in marriage, storms, and trials will come and that is why it is important to prepare ahead of time. She noted that our preparation must come from a place of victory and not fear. She emphasized the importance of choosing right because as much as marriage is meant for us, we must also be Kingdom-minded in our choosing ( Malachi 2 vs 13-15). 📝 7 ways to stormproof your marriage: 📍Foundation: Our mindset about marriage must be based on the word of God rightly divided. It is also important to invest in knowledge and prepare adequately by reading books and listening to sound teachers (Proverbs 24:3, Mathew 7: 24-27). 📍 Discernment: Discernment would protect you from the wrong advisors. The way to fight the enemy is to stand in peace, it is part of warfare (Mathew 5:9, 2 Corinthians 2:11). 📍Communication: In communicating, we must ensure that we listen to understand and not to respond while also keeping in mind that the way we talk, is just as important as what we say. We must also learn to communicate by the wisdom of the spirit ( Genesis 18:6, James 1:19 ). 📍Commitment: Love anticipates storms and looks out for ways to navigate them and not from a place of fear. Get fear out, get knowledgeable, and learn to commit rightly (1 Corinthians 13:4). 📍Oneness: Ephesians 5 vs 29 Oneness means believing in your spouse. Some parts of oneness are instantaneous while many parts are in process (Philippians 4:8). 📍Christ: If you go with God, you will always win. Put God at the center of your home. Apart from the relationship with your spouse, there should be a relationship with God (Mathew 8:25-26, Ecclesiastes 4:12). 📍Purpose: Marriage is your good and also the good of the kingdom. The purpose of marriage is companionship and raising Godly seeds (Malachi 2:13-15, Ecclesiastes 4:9).…

Love Filter: How to Choose a Spouse. 🔥 Marriage isn’t just built on emotions; it requires wisdom, clarity, and God’s guidance. 📌 Pastor Laju highlighted 12 common mistakes people make when choosing a spouse: * Assuming they don’t have a choice: If you’re unaware of your options, you’ll likely make the wrong decision. * Becoming obsessed with the chase: The thrill of pursuit should never replace discernment (Eccl 2:10). * Not embracing singleness: Marriage requires two whole individuals. Knowing your purpose helps you choose wisely.* Listening to the wrong advisors: The voices you heed can shape your decisions (2 Sam 13:2). * Misunderstanding time: It’s not about how fast, but how well. * Having a wrong understanding of marriage: Marriage is an opportunity to serve your spouse, serve the Lord, and grow into Christlikeness. * Trying to escape trauma: Heal before stepping into a relationship to avoid repeating past cycles. * Choosing based on superficial vibes: Set realistic expectations beyond surface attraction. * Bowing to pressure: Ask yourself, “Can I live with this for the rest of my life?” Marriage shouldn’t be about pleasing others. * Not involving God: Every life decision should be rooted in His wisdom. * When God cannot be involved: If your relationship doesn’t honour God, it’s not His will. * Assuming a failed relationship means personal failure: A setback isn’t the end of your love story. Choose wisely—with God, wise counsel, and someone who genuinely chooses you.…

INFLUENCE IN A FOREIGN LAND Matthew 4:19 Psalm 82:1 I kings 22:20 As believers, It is our divine assignment to influence our environment with the ideologies of the kingdom. It is our duty to reflect God. Through us, the kingdoms of the world must become the kingdom of our God and His Christ. God wants us to come of age and be a part of what He is doing. Children are the responsibility of the kingdom but Sons are responsible for the kingdom. God has called us to be co-laborers with Him and not spectators. God wants us to represent His ideologies in our environment. Rather than Living for survival in a foreign land, God wants us to Live a life of Legacy. How To Live A Life Of Influence In A Foreign Land 1. Expect the favor of God. Isaiah 1:19 God wants you to recognize that He can bless you in this nation. 2. Seek the peace of the land. The Culture of Worship” Here are some things to note: ✍🏽Worship is not music. It can be expressed through music, but that's not all that it is. Worship is also not a moment. ✍🏽Worship is aligning yourself to the will of God. The first time Worship was used in the Bible was in Abraham's story- to mean sacrifice. ✍🏽Real Worship is a posture of consecration. Your public devotion can be a waste of time when your life is not aligned. Jeremiah 10:23 ✍🏽Man's destiny is to be the image of God. The word "image" is not a noun but a verb. ✍🏽If you make decisions without asking God, you are not a worshipper. Remember the destiny of man. In (Gen 1:6) when the Bible says God made man in his image, it has nothing to do with facial shape or body. Rather, what God was saying is: in the earth realm, let man stand as My representative to do things I would have done if I were there. A Few Things To Note: 📌 Even though God gave man dominion, it had a context, and to act outside that is to fall into the snare of satan. 📌 The biggest sins in the Bible had nothing to do with immorality. The biggest sins in the Bible were acting out of purpose. 📌 It’s a big deal in the realm of the spirit to act outside of purpose. Genesis 6:2, where the sons of God (angels) desired to marry the daughters of men. They may have even followed proper marital rites, but was it wrong? Yes. Why? Because it is not God’s will for angels to marry and have children (Matt. 22:30; 2 Pet. 2:4-5). Jude 6 explains what the sin was. 📌 Purpose determines your boundary. When it comes to God, worshipping God, living for him, it is beyond the sincerity of your desire. 📌 Embrace the domain of God, don’t see it as a limitation. Freedom is within the confines of the boundaries of God. 📌 It is part of worship to align your mind with the word of God, even the things you don’t fully understand. 📌 There’s a logical rationale for why we believe the word of God should influence culture. It is God’s will that there’ll be a communal objective understanding of truth that is beyond how we feel. 📌 It is not in man to direct his own ways. Your worship must move beyond lyrics, you must bow to the dictate of the word of God even when it’s hard, even when you don’t understand it.…

As Christians, we should understand that Culture is not a norm, it is a design. What you see people accept as general or popular is a product of someone’s mind and design. However, it’s important to step back and be introspective. Test all things - I Thessalonians 5:21. A FEW THINGS TO NOTE: 📍 Culture is formed when a group follows an influential person or influential people. Subconsciously, people are telling you how to think, act, and behave. 📍 It’s true that in a multitude of counsel, there’s safety. But in seeking wisdom, we must learn to stop and access - Is it true? Why must I act this way? Why must my life go in that direction? Stop and test. 📍 Culture will try to conform you but do not be conformed - Romans 12:2. If you’re a conformist, you cannot fulfill the will of God for your life. Standing for God will sometimes require that you turn your back on culture. 📍 God raised leaders to think in their own rights. We’re not dummies. We look objectively, we test all things. We are not conformists, we are transformers. 📍 When you beg to differ, you’ll be seen as a rebel. To be counter-cultural, you must be okay with being seen as the odd one out. 📍 Culture may be defining your limits so, be very careful what culture has signaled to you that you cannot do. 📍 Don’t let anybody define your limits. You are allowed to be all that God wants you to be - in his word and in purpose. Because what we call culture is simply human beings being wired by limitations and observations. 📍 Culture is a product of social learning. It may be confining you. Step back, test all things, and only hold on to what is true. 📍 The same way it happens positively, it happens negatively. Fear can be adopted. The things your parents tried and failed can affect you, so step back and watch your idiosyncrasies - where was this pattern formed? Test it. 📍 This was what God was trying to tell the children of Israel in Leviticus 18:3. He was talking about their past and their future - they were coming from Egypt and going to Canaan - to not look like either of them. God wanted them to be different. 📍 In Mark 11:22-23, Jesus cursed a fig tree and Peter was amazed by that. Jesus had to let his disciples know that they can also speak to trees, speak to the mountains, and move them. To root out and to pull down - Jeremiah 1:10 📍 For this to work, you must be okay with being criticized. You have a different spirit. Be comfortable with the fact that some people will hate your guts. 📍 Beg to differ in every way. Embrace culture only to the degree that it aligns with the word of God. 📍 Shine your eyes, especially in these last days. You’re not a consumer. Don’t just watch trends and follow. The anointing is on you to stand out.…

📍 God is looking for believers who truly walk the talk. It’s not enough to claim Christianity; God desires transformation—a life that aligns with His Word in action and truth. 📍 As believers, we have a shared culture. When God saved us, He called us out of the world and into a new life of purpose. Our shared values stem from this radical transformation and we are now LIGHT in a dark world. 📍 As such, we cannot afford to conform or blend in with the ways of the world. 📍 The enemy’s trick is subtle but dangerous: even though God has taken us out of Egypt (the world), the devil wants to keep Egypt in us. He offers compromises to keep us tied to our old desires, even while we engage in church activities. 📍 Just as Moses refused Pharaoh’s compromises, we must also reject anything that falls short of God’s call to full transformation. 📍 Our lives must be a testament of difference. The world should have no charge of wrongdoing against us (1 Peter 2:12, Colossians 4:5). 📍 From our words to our actions, how we do business, and how we pursue peace, our lives must reflect the Kingdom we belong to (Philippians 2:14-15). 🔸 KEYS TO TRANSFORMATION IN CHRIST: 1. Subject yourself to the transformative power of God’s Word. Let it renew your mind and shape your values. 2. Develop a culture of gratitude and service. Serve others with joy, even when they haven’t earned it. 3. Reflect on the goodness of God and let your thanksgiving be evident in how you live.…

We learnt that God achieves in our life what He wants to by His word, and it goes beyond being ecstatic. 📌 Two times in the Bible we were told to learn from animals because what God is trying to teach us is basic; 1. Proverbs 6:6-8 - By the observation of our lives, there should be a structure. 2. Matthew 6:26 - A teaching on handling anxiety. And here lies the balance. By the providence of God, good things would still come our way even if we work. 📌 Here are more key points from this sermon; - The goodness of God in the past should give you confidence for the future. - God has given us His best as a born again child of God by giving us His Son. He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? - It is a spiritual law to believe you will have a great year even without an evidence. - It is okay to plan, but never look at your future judging from your current state. 📌 Times in the Bible where Jesus called people fools. 1. Matthew 23 - Those who focus on money instead of focusing on God. 2. Luke 11:40 - Those who focus on the outside rather than the inside. 3. Luke 12 - The rich fool. - Prioritizing material gains at the expense of your soul is a foolish way to live. - In following God’s purpose, many times you strip yourself of some privileges. Two things we will focus on as a ministry this Year; 1. We will honour the Lord. 2. We will serve men. 6 Things About the Year of Legacy; 1. A year of worship 2. A year of thanksgiving. 3. A year of service. 4. A year of corporate fellowship. 5. A year of model living. 6. A year of generosity.…

📌Here are some key points to note from this sermon; - There is constant spiritual warfare, and we must remain alert to the schemes of the devil. - While the devil is defeated, he continually seeks vulnerabilities. - As believers, we must remain conscious of God’s covering and use the divine advantage we have in Christ. - Endurance is essential in spiritual growth. If we cannot love or believe when it’s difficult, we haven’t fully developed endurance. - Every spiritual discipline will be tested, and enduring in prayer is vital. - A true prayer life requires perseverance. - Prayer should not be limited to times of need but should be consistent. - Luke 18:1 reminds us to persist in prayer, even when answers are delayed, pressing on until we see results. We are encouraged not to wait for challenging times before building our prayer lives. Instead, we should cultivate a consistent practice, building spiritual momentum for when it is most needed.…

In this Special Anniversary Service, our Apostle, delivered a powerful message centered on the importance of valuing spiritual things, particularly the worth of a soul.❤️🔥❤️🔥 He began by emphasizing the power of hindsight, noting that God, the author of the Bible, is both the beginning and the end. 📌 Here are some notable points to take from this sermon; - God places extraordinary value on even a single soul being saved. Luke 15:7 - In our modern view of prosperity, we focus on the wrong thing, placing material wealth as the measure of success. - God's economy, true sustenance, and fulfilment come through spiritual means, not financial gains or societal achievements. - The impact of Jesus’ life wasn’t measured by improvements to the government of His time but by His spiritual legacy. - The call for Christians, as seen in Philippians 2:5, is to adopt the mindset of Christ, to prioritize sacrifice, consecration, and a life oriented towards God's word. As we journey through this week and beyond, we are reminded to shift our focus from material success to the eternal value of a soul.✨ #ADOZENCELEBRATIONS #CCIAT12 #CCIGlobal…

Culture - Discipling Nations Preacher: Pastor Laju Iren Acts 19:10 The impact of the early church was evident and it is something to emulate, replicate and admire. The days of impact of the Gospel have not passed. There was an impact in medicine and because people were getting healed. There was also an economic impact (Acts 19:20). There was also impact on leadership. Acts 12:21-24 8 things that the early church did that culture could not ignore 1. It was a listening church. One of the first things the writer of Acts records is an instruction. Acts 1:4. Sometimes we are called to a time of consecration, and this involves moving with God’s timetable and not ours. The early church listened to God and His word. Acts 2:42 tells us that they devoted themselves to the teachings of the apostles. 2. It was a united church. Acts 2:44. They always met everyday. John 13:35. Hebrews 10:25. 3. It was a powerful church. Doing ministry without the power of God is a big mistake. Don’t do ministry in your own power. Otherwise, you make yourself a target. We were never meant to execute the plan of God in our own might. 4. It was a supplying church. There was a participation from the entire church. It wasn’t one star doing all the praying and exercising the gifts. It was the church. Ephesians 4:11-12. We must discern our place in the church and play our role. 5. It was a resilient church. It was not without its imperfections. They even fought and scattered the church over food. They had their weaknesses, struggles and persecutions. 2 Corinthians 11:23-28. 6. It was a moving and a spreading church. Not only must there be a church that sinners can come to, there must be a church that goes to where the sinners are. Contact without contamination is the goal. 7. It was a loud church. Acts 2:1-3. They were loud in prayer, praise and boldness. In Acts 4:19-20, Paul and John who were imprisoned and beaten refused to stop speaking the Gospel in exchange for their release. 8. It was a purposeful church Our purpose is Christ - to know Him and to make Him known.…

TACTICS: HOW TO CATCH MEN ❤️🔥 He emphasized that where the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable. We were also made to understand that God's priority is SOUL WINNING. Here are a few things we learnt: 📌 God's priority is salvation, Romans 10:1. There is a difference between what God can do and what God prioritises. God gives bread, but He is bread. 📌 Everyone considered a great man was someone who did something for God. Genesis 12:1-2. When God wants to use you, don't shy away. Consider it a blessing! Heb 11:33. Always think of what God can do through you. 📌 When you turn someone to righteousness, God calls you a star! Daniel 12:3. Your small input into a soul can go a long way in winning such soul. Never underestimate your impact. 📌 One of the reasons why church growth is not as progressive is because only a small percentage of members engage in soul winning. Be active in soul winning and play a part in church growth! 📌 Soul winning takes time. Fast and pray for that soul, invest in that soul. Remember, there is a party in heaven when a soul is won. 📌 4 THINGS TO DO 1. Learn to pray for souls: When you pray for souls, divine encounters take place. Evangelism is warfare. 2. Disciple your children: The first place of calling is in the home. Proverbs 22:6 3. Invite people to church: Have at least 5 people you follow up constantly to come to church. 4. Keep at it: Soul winning takes tenacity and consistency. Don't assume that people aren't listening. Luke 15:7.…

‘Evangelism’ 🔥🔥 We learnt that the core of evangelism is sharing something we are passionate about, and just like how we talk about things that excites us, even more, we should be eager to share the good news. 📌 Here are some notable points from this sermon; - To be an evangelist is to be zealous about any course. - There is a sense to which everyone of us are passionate about something, so if you do not actively tell people about Jesus, that’s a passion problem. - Evangelism is not just a treaty but a delight. - It’s a sin to give God the barest minimum. - One of the ways to radically change your walk with God, is when you realize you are an envoy. 📌 Two things God is not; 1.) God is not a drug - There is more to Him than the healing He gives. 2.) God is not a wallet - There is more to Him than the money you seek. In 2 Corinthians 5:14-19, Paul emphasizes the responsibility that Christ’s death bestows on us. We are now envoys, carrying the message of reconciliation. 📌 Four simple ways you can evangelize; 1.) Invite people to Church. 2.) Share materials - Sermons, books. 3.) Share personal testimonies. 4.) Direct communication - Just tell them about Jesus. ENVOY: TAKING TERRITORIES This is the best way we can show true discipleship ✍🏾 Some highlights from the sermon: 📌The believer must learn to be abased and to abound. Philippians 4:10-13 📌Tough times present a great opportunity to show the world where our treasure is. Philippians 2:5 📌One of the most powerful ways to demonstrate discipleship is to live without possessions. Learn to be abased. 📌There is a secret unspoken rule - the more money you have, the more transcendent you become. Popular culture teaches you to be transcendent but as believers, we mustn’t adopt this lifestyle. 📌Put structure in your life so that no matter how rich you become, your life is still simple, and you must find a way to do that. STRUCTURES are important! 📌 Make sure money doesn’t keep you away from evangelism or take you away from purpose. Romans 12:16 📌God prospers people. Psalms 104:14 📌Even the most diligent farmers rely on the resources God has created. 1 Corinthians 3:6-7 📌 God can prosper a man through labor, gifts, relationships, divine healing, or favour 📌The role of prayer is to then activate all of the above!…

CURRENCY - THE ZEAL OF THE LORD We learnt how the key things in the Bible are often emphasized to draw your attention and how God’s plan is sovereign. Here are some key points to take note of: 📌 For many that received him, to them he gave the power to be called the sons of God. John 1:12 📌 This tells you there’s nothing special about you or intrinsic that makes you entitled to God’s plan and promises. 📌 Your relevance is in alignment to God’s sovereign plan. It’s aligning yourself to God’s purpose that makes you relevant. 📌 God is God-centered and committed to His own plan. Everyone who aligns with him will find their relevance in him, not the other way round. 📌 Greatness is not always in proportion to how much you pray. It’s for those who are the CALLED. Romans 8:28 📌 Understand that your purpose is not unique. Purpose is universal. What is unique to you is your assignment. Discover what God wants to do and align with it. Other key points to take notes of: 📌 What we call coincidence is the Providence of God. 📌 You can never take from a man what he got from a place of consecration. If you understand this, competition will die. 📌 Don’t compete when you should be collaborating. Let this guide you as you step into this new week. Purpose 101. He explained that purpose refers to the reason why we were created. He went on to give us four principles of purpose from the book of Genesis Chapter 1: 📍 There is a sun before the sun: God wants us to understand that purpose comes first. Purpose takes preeminence over everything else. (Genesis 1:5) 📍 God is man's source: When God wanted to create man, He spoke to Himself, signifying that God is the root of our existence. If you live without God, you live life like the living dead. (Genesis 1:26) 📍 Man's first day is the Sabbath: God wants us to work from a place of rest. (Ephesians 2:8) 📍 Man is the image of God: Being called the image of God does not necessarily have anything to do with physical appearance but more with our function because God is spirit. This tells us that as believers, we are ambassadors of Christ, and everything we do, we do on His behalf. (2 Corinthians 5:18-20) He concluded by mentioning some signs that show we are walking in purpose: ✍🏾 The commitment of God to what you are doing. ✍🏾 Nobody can take from you what you obtained by consecration and sustained by altars because he whom God has blessed, no man can curse. ✍🏾 When consecration makes you, you are made, and no one can unmake you.…

Explore: Understanding the Scriptures.’ 🔥🔥 He emphasized three main points, namely: 📍 Proper Bible interpretation is spiritual warfare. 📍 You need a teacher. 📍 Interpretation is necessary. On proper Bible interpretation as spiritual warfare, here are a few points to note: - When it comes to warfare, the primary warfare in the Word of God is the battle of the mind. - Knowledge is a powerful weapon of war. 2 Corinthians 2:11 - The devil will try to outwit you and catch you unawares. - How you know you're under attack is when culture begins to change your perspective on what the word of God says. - There must be a defense system to guard your heart because the devil is trying to fight there too. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 - Anything that makes you change your opinion about what God says is warfare. On the point that you need a teacher, note the following: - We need more people with the humility of the Ethiopian eunuch and teachers like Philip. Acts 8:29-31 - The Holy Spirit guides in corroboration to ensure what we hear is the truth. - He gives us teachers who teach didactically. 2 Timothy 2:2 - We need faithful men who will teach faithfully to all men. On the point that interpretation is necessary, note the following: - It takes intentionality to interpret the Bible. - The Bible must be rightly interpreted, as there is a wrong way to interpret it. 4 Cs in Bible Interpretation: 📍 Context: Every text you read in the Bible was written to a particular people at a particular time, so to understand it, you must understand the underlying principle in all generations. 📍 Culture: Romans 16:16 The word of God as it applies culturally should be applied. This is where interpretation comes in. 📍 Communication (Language): John 3:16, 1 John 4:9, 1 John 4:11 📍 Christ: The most important key for interpreting the Bible. Matthew 1:20-22, Acts 2:2-17 - The New Testament is a commentary on the Old Testament. - How to unlock your Bible study is by looking at all the Old Testament quotes in the New Testament and going back to read them in context.…

NOTE 📌 If you want to image Christ, make your life about purpose, not about status. 📌 Your yardstick for measuring prosperity should be based on how much you have done for God. 📌 The paradox of God is that it is those who are poor in Spirit that inherit the kingdom of God. Only those who seek God find all things. 📌 In the kingdom, greatness is measured in service. 📌 Giving and generosity is God's, but you must make no mistake to be entitled. 📌 One of the paradox of life is that God uplifts the humble and resists the proud. Your personal needs cannot be the epic center of your Christian life. 📌 You can't grow in God's kingdom unless you look beyond yourself. 📌 It is consecration to get to the point where you can live without all the needs you can meet (Matt 4:4). 📌 Your purpose on earth is to image Christ (Luke 11:2, Mark 10:45, Phil 2:5, Matt 6:33, 7:7) 📍 Possession is not a valuable as significance. You only save what is scarce. 📌 When you attain significance , you can get possession in one day. 📌 The bread that God give is Christ (John 6:33) 📍 Psalms 23 teaches us about the priority of Salvation plan of God. 📌 The moment you follow your God-given purpose, some things follow you naturally (Phil 2:9)…

DEEPER DAY 1 TOPIC: Who do you image? Understanding delegated authority TEXT: Eph 3:14 MINISTERING: Apostle Emmanuel Iren Part of the privilege of theology is to start learning what you cannot finish knowing. The greatness of God surpasses knowledge. There is something about the natural creation that gives us an idea of the greatness of God. (Eph 3:19) Holiness means excellence, something that stands out, indescribable. (Exo 15:11) ➡️How do we know what is beyond knowing 📌Anthropomorphic attributes To know God, God must step down and reach out to us primarily by the incarnation of God in flesh and by anthro attributes. (Dan 9:18) 📌Theomorphic attributes This is simply the conception of something in form of a deity. There are some things God put on earth to explain his greatness (Psalm 19:1-2) God is the sun 📍God gives illumination (Psalm 84:11) He is the sun in his light we see every other thing, God’s light is our perspective in life. Through him we see everything else especially as believers in a world of several opinions and voices 📍God is good Light is a metaphor for good (I John 1:5) When we call him the light we see his goodness. He does not orchestrate pain or evil, he does not tempt us with sickness, any study that contradicts his goodness is done right. (Rom 15:3) 📍God is consistent He never changes. People changes everyday and so our hope is only in him. (Jas 1:17) 📍(Psalm 19:6) God is self sufficient ➡️If God is the sun then we are moons (John 1:1-9) It is your destiny to image a spirit, God wants to beam his light through you to a degree that anyone that comes near you sees him through you. ➡️The sonship of Christ The same way Jesus images the father, we image God. We live as ambassadors of Christ (2 Cor 5:20) Every where we go we go on Christ’s behalf. We are called to defend the interest of God on this earth. You are blessed to be a blessing not to oppress or impress. You are destined to project if you don’t project God you would project something else (Gen 3: lol mlj ➡️To image God i Look beyond yourself Heb 26 Side with the purpose of God Be compassionate and be sensitive Your wealth should be measured by your contribution and not your possessions. ➡️What does it mean to be an ambassador for Christ and what resources back you? (Psalm 82:1) 📌Everyone sent on behalf of God, they present themselves as though it was God. 📌God like to delegate authority. 📌God likes to show off his greatness in his sons. 📌When anyone in the name of God goes they can make decrees in the name of God. 📌You cannot stop a man aligned to God. 📌When you go where God sent you, you are a God in that place. 📌When God sends you it is as though God went.…

Explore: The Inspiration of Scripture. He introduced the sermon by highlighting the importance of understanding what we believe and being able to defend it. The Bible is inspired by two key ways: 📌 God chose the writers of the Bible, handpicking each one to share His message with the world. 📌 God provided divine direction, guiding the lives of every author in the Bible to ensure they wrote His words without error. We also learned that the Canon of the Word of God started with God Himself writing the first words. That is, the ten commandments God gave to the children of isreal. (Exodus 32:16). Over time, more inspired writings were added by various prophets and leaders (Joshua 24:25-27, Jeremiah 6:16, Hosea 8:12, Zephaniah 3:4). One of the ways to tell that the Word of God is reliable is by using the same principles that prove other ancient texts, such as: 📌 Time Gap Analysis: By examining the time between when the words were spoken and when the first manuscripts were written, we can assess their accuracy. 📌 Manuscript Quantity: The vast number of manuscripts available today shows that the Bible has been carefully preserved over time.…

EXPLORE: The Purpose of Scriptures” 🔥🔥 He emphasized that the Bible doesn't just tell us what to do but also how to do it. We learnt that we as Christians should have an athletic commitment to devotion even much more than athletes being so devoted to receiving corruptible awards. Here are a few things to note about being devoted to the word; 1. We must honour the word and prioritize it in our lives. 2 Thessalonians 3:1. 2. We must grow in the word and allow the word of God to grow in our lives. Acts 19:20. 3. The word of God can prevail. It can conquer opposition in our lives and gain pre-eminence. 2 Corinthians 10:5. 4. We must learn to defend what we believe, and to do this, we have to dig into the word and study it. We ought to give the word of God its rightful place in our hearts. The word of God and God are inseparable. Revelation 19:13, Psalm 107:20. As we step into this new week, let us prioritize God's word and allow it to influence our lives.🤗🤗 Remember that church attendance without transformation is not God's will for you.…

Recharge 🔥🔥 There are two lessons we can learn from the creation story. ✨ 📌 Priority. Mark 2:27. On Priority, here are a few things to note; - Everything had a reason for being created. - By the order of creation, you see a crescendo that points to priority. - You must value your rest in God above all things. Revelations 4:11. - You were created for God so you must therefore prioritise him. - Seeking first is a heart matter. Matthew 6:33. - In order of priority whose opinion are you seeking the most? It is never a waste of time to prioritize God. 📌 Systems. On Systems, here are a few things to note; - Everything God did, He never had to do again. - Systems are more powerful than discipline. - To build good habits, depend on systems, not discipline. Galatians 6:1. - Learn to use your money to create more systems. - Delegation is a system. Acts 6:4. What does building systems look like? - Attending a serious church - Choosing your friends wisely - Joining a service unit Learn to ask yourself these probing questions. - What is the system for my devotion? - When and where is my prayer time? - What systems have I put in place to ensure no matter what happens I can re-arrange your steps? Regaining spiritual form. Genesis1. Before you create anything, you must create infrastructure to sustain it. Atmospheres before activities. Whatever spiritual experience you want to encounter, you must create the discipline to activate the atmosphere. Galatians6:7 The realm of the spirit works with investment. You are not beyond the principles that protect your vulnerabilities. Sobriety will protect you from being vulnerable to the devices of the enemy. One of the marks of maturity is that you have mastered the fundamentals. You have the childlike attitude of always beginning your day with Him. Hebrews5:13-14 There is a process for temptation, it grows gradually. So let your alarm go off immediately you begin to nurse the idea, not when you have committed the act. There are aspects of spiritual growth where we don’t remain a child, and there are some places where we must remain a child. It is not childishness, it is childishness. 1Corinthians14:20 GET UP: Regaining Spiritual Form 📌 Aspects of spiritual devotion that make us childlike. * Excitement. Psalm 122:1. You know you’re in trouble when you’re not as excited as you used to be. You must watch and guard your excitement. * Attention. Proverbs 4:20. John 15:5. Exodus 33:15. Anything you’d rather do than wait on God has become an idol. God must be able to interrupt your work. Create the balance in your life. Put God in your schedule and prioritize him. * Conviction. A child believes what his parent says. Embrace the word of God as the final authority over everything. God said it, I believe it na that settles it. * Humility. Mark 10:13. One way to know you’re receiving the kingdom is your attitude to correction. You cannot grow until you stop avoiding corrections.…

Believer's Authority II God wasn’t trying to help the Israelites escape. He wanted to humble Pharoah. To effectively exert your authority as a believer, you must first understand the God that’s on your side. God wanted to expose Pharoah’s frailty and prove to his people that he was just a man Exodus 11:4-11, Exodus 12:40-41. The contest between God and Pharoah wasn’t close. The book of Exodus wasn’t just about an exodus but also about establishing God’s unequivocal power and authority overall. The devil is not the factor, and as a child of God, you have the right to live like he doesn’t exist. Bondage has a lot to do with ignorance. A curse can only rest where there’s a vacancy. If there’s already a blessing, a curse can not stand Numbers 23:23-25. The blessing of God has a self-protecting measure. Natural laws of seasons apply, but there’s a blessing that’s not tied to any geographical area Deuteronomy 28:1-3;8;13. Biological laws apply, but there’s something more. Two Reasons Why People Are Not Growing Spiritually - No goal in mind: To stay vibrant, you must see your ministry to others. The Believer’s Authority “Exodus”. We can connect the workings of the Gifts of the Spirit with the miraculous display of God’s power at the initial stage of the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt. 1Cor 12:1-7 Important Things to Note; 📌In paganism, every idol is a specialist, there is a god for everything (e.g., fertility, war, commerce, etc) There are a plethora of different spirits and powers working together. 📌In Christianity, there is only one God who is diverse in power. Divers works, same Spirit. 📌In paganism they don’t have an omnipotent god but in Christianity, we have an omnipotent God. Things to note about the gods of Egypt; 📌 There is no single creator of all, they depend on a different plethora of powers. 📌 Their gods were not personal gods, they didn't care. 📌 The Egyptians believed that the gods were behind natural disasters. The aim of all of God’s miraculous works in Egypt was not to help the children of Israel escape, He wanted to prove to the Egyptians that there is one Almighty God, not a plethora of powers. He did this by; 📌displaying all the specialties of all their powers in one God. Exo 9:24 📌demonstrating controlled power, (controlled outcome); the disasters were only happening in the Egyptian camp, Goshen was excluded. Exo 9:7 📌Precision; all the plagues started when Moses said they would start and ended when he said they would end. Exo 8:9-10 Who is the God of the Bible? 1. He's a personal God, He genuinely cares for you. 2. He's a good and kind God. 3. He's the God of all creation.…

Here are some notable points to note from this sermon; - When it comes to generosity, there are weightier matters, and a heart matter is a weightier matter. - We must recognize that all we have comes from God. God is our source and hence, we can give back to him as a result of this consciousness. (Leviticus 19:23-25) - We ought to recognize that we are where we are by God’s grace, and not by our abilities. We know Him by His Word 📌 The prophets did not fully know that God was using their lives to tell the story of Jesus. 📌 What if your life is a canvas and God is telling a story with your life? Faith can be seen. There are three kinds of faith and they are all obvious. 📌 Salvific faith, charismatic faith, and the Christian faith. 📌 Hope is any spiritual expectation based on your faith that there is a realm beyond this. 📌 Faith is any action that substantiates your hope. 📌 You must write your own faith story. If you truly believe that anyone who doesn’t accept Jesus will perish and you haven’t interceded for those around you who do not believe are you really walking in faith…

“Who owns Canada?” It is important that we understand spiritual warfare. Here are some key points to note: 📌 Spiritual warfare is about legalities. 📌 Without information and knowledge prayer will not count as much as it should. 📌 There is a deep layer of spiritual infrastructure that controls the world we live in. 📌We must seek knowledge and know the right doctrine. 📌Wrong doctrine can become a stronghold that prevents us from accepting the right doctrine when it is presented to us. You must understand spiritual warfare in taking territories. Key points to notes in taking territories 📌 Recognize spiritual infrastructure 📌 We are not alone. They that are with us, in greatness and capacity are greater than those that are with them. 📌 You must cast down imaginations. Add your voice always, confrontation is part of warfare. 📌 Use the Name of Jesus always. 📌 Don’t allow the devil in your territory and in your family. You can settle the future of your children from now.…

The “Foolishness” of the Gospel. Here are key points to note: 📌The protocol of knowing God is that you must first see Him in His word. 📌The only way to know the Son of God is in the word of God. 📌Sight in our kingdom is not scientific, it is spiritual. 📌Except a man is born again he cannot see the Lord (Ephesians 1:15-18)As important as miracles are, you must see Jesus as the bread. 📌With the eyes of revelation, we see Jesus in the written word. It is all about Him. There are many prophecies about Christ in the Old Testament. Some prophetic parallels between Joseph and Jesus: 📌Joseph was beloved of his father, Jesus was the beloved son 📌Joseph clothes were stripped; Jesus clothes were stripped 📌Joseph sold for 20 pcs silver; Jesus sold for 30 pcs 📌Judah sold him to slavery, and Judas sold Jesus to die (Judah and Judas mean the same thing Anglicized version of Judah) 📌Joseph was sent to prison despite being of reputable character same as Jesus 📌The wickedness of Joseph's brother was the very fulfillment of God’s plan, we see that in the life of Jesus as well. Jesus came and died for us, so we can know him and show others about him. There’s no US without HIM!…

The Science of Supernatural Encounters We learn some things from the story of the Jesus & the Samaritan woman (John 4:6-9, 27) * It was unexpected for Jesus, a Jew, to converse with a Samaritan woman due to cultural norms. * Jesus knew beforehand that she would approach and that she needed to meet him, showing his prophetic insight. * Jesus dismissed his disciples to ensure an uninterrupted conversation with the woman. * Jesus perceived the woman’s need for him and engaged with her purposefully to address it directly. ✍️ Everyone who draws near to God He draws close to them. Like the Samaritan woman she had questions and the Messiah came to her. The moment we begin to look for God, it sets spiritual signals that draws Him close to us. - Everyone who hungers and thirsts after righteousness will be filled. - Every person is born with hunger and thirst for God. Anyone who earnestly desires righteousness find fulfillment. In every revival, there has always been a hunger for righteousness present (Matthew 5:6). - Therefore, the advice is to continue seeking, for those who persist will discover, and those who keep knocking will have doors opened to them. - Spiritual things have a cumulative effect, there are spiritual disciplines that require that we must show up regularly. - Spiritual encounters can be trapped, we can create a memorial around spiritual encounters that make it repeatable.…

True Worship 🔥 The priority of worship is not our preference but the order of the protocol of the Church. By the revelation of God's mercies, our response should be presenting our bodies holy and acceptable before Him. That is the standard. Every time worship is done properly, 3 things happen simultaneously. 1. The Holiness of God. 2. The access of the blood. 3. The fellowship and the edification of the saints. In the Old Testament, what is most highlighted is the holiness of God. Holiness is distinction and excellence. None to be compared with. And so is our God. There is none Holy as our God, there is none besides Him, neither is there any rock like our God. Here are further points of emphasis; - In true worship, you immediately know that God is not on our level. - The holiness of God without the access of the blood is scary. It must happen simultaneously. - Everything in the Old Testament system of worship is a type and shadow of what Christ was going to come and do. - True worshippers know that what gives them access is the blood of Jesus and not activities. - The blood of Jesus has given us access, and that’s what matters to God. And so, this is what it means to be a true worshipper. See your access through the blood. This is the most important event in worship, the blood of Jesus. He has given us access. Glory to God!🥳🥳…

As believers, why Apologetics: - It is necessary. - It is important for evangelism. Rev 1:17-18. - It is important for worship. Sealed: No confidence in the flesh”. 🔥🔥 He emphasized that as believers we have a lot of glory that the world doesn’t recognize. Rom 8:18-20 Here are some key points to note from the sermon; • The riches we have in Christ are so grandiose, they can’t be compared. • The man in Christ is so special that God takes everything that is done to you personally. • We have been circumcised with the circumcision that was not made with hands. • Biblical Circumcision is different from the circumcision done to men. Biblical circumcision represents three things: 1. Identification. (Gen 17:9-14) 2. Promise. 3. Protection. The church should walk in the consciousness of this “touch not” mark they have. We are marked and we must recognize that we have a divine difference in us. Circumcision applies to you too. Even if people can’t see it, there is a radical difference about you. If Cain had a ‘touch not’ mark, so do you! Walk in the confidence of your protection in Christ today!🥳🥳…

Contending for the faith 🔥🔥 He emphasized that as believers, we must be ready to contend for the faith that was once delivered unto us. Jude 1:3. We were made to understand that there is an opposition and we (the Church) will be vehemently opposed, hence fighting is okay. Here are some key points to note from this sermon; - For the gospel to prevail, you must be willing to fight for it. - To contend for the faith, you must be open to opposition. - The devil tries to deceive the believer into thinking that it is a sin to fight for what you believe. - A Church that does not contend will die. - As long as you’re getting it right, there will be opponents. Three strategies the devil uses against the church; 1. He gaslights Christians into believing that they shouldn’t have a voice. 2. He abuses the Church. 3. He deploys means to exterminate the Church of God. It was further emphasized that contention also involves spiritual discernment. Every aspect of Christianity will take contention. In evangelism, in discipleship, and spirituality. Believers must be discerning of the fact that the devil is behind every war against the church, and recognize that there are spirit entities working behind the scenes. Finally, Jesus commanded in Matthew 5:11-12, that it is something to be happy about when persecuted, and for us to rejoice! And this indeed is our response🥳🥳…

We need to have a positive mentality, in spite of any negative event because God will always come through. As believers, our convictions should be based on the word of God, we know that all things are working together for our good. Romans 8:28 Sometimes, you are angry about the outcome of a situation, not knowing that you dodged a bullet, and God saved your life. Abraham understood this, and it was his mentality even when God told him to sacrifice Isaac. He knew that if God wants to take Isaac, he has plans to raise him up. Genesis 22:2, Hebrews 11:17-19. God is not in support of bad, but in spite of the bad, God can bring out good. We don’t always know it as we should and in the present, it may seem difficult, but we know that all things work together for our good. It takes confidence to trust in the plan of Jesus. Two instances in the Bible that point to the redemptive work of Christ: 📍The story of Jonah in the belly of the fish. 📍The call for Abraham to sacrifice Isaac to God.…

The Way: Singularity of the Faith 🔥 Jude 1:3 He emphasized that every great encounter with God recorded in the Bible points to Christ. He used the story of Noah as an example. Here are some key points to note: • The destruction of the world in Noah’s day was a prophecy of the destruction of the world at the end of time. 2 Peter 1:2 • Noah told the people to get into the ark but they did not understand the prophecy at that time. 2pet 2:5. • The ark was a prophetic metaphor of salvation. The ark saved people from God’s wrath. • There was no function of control on the ark, meaning salvation is by God alone and we have no contribution. • The ark was covered in pitch(bitumen) which prevented rain from getting into it. Gen 6:14 Job 33:24 •The ark had just one door, just like Christ is the way. Rev 3:20 Today, there are different things done to kick Jesus out of the church: - Suppressing the truth in unrighteousness. Rom1:18. - False doctrines: We must take our doctrines seriously as salvation is by believing not by praying. Three things to note from Matthew 12:38:40 - Beware of consumer Christianity: When you're a consumer Christian, your faith will not last. Something must happen in your hearts for you to see the gospel as the power of God. Sometimes, the miracles in your life are to show you that there are higher priorities. - The sign of Jonah is that he died and rose again, and we see the same with Jesus. There are some things that we need to know about our new location, Eden. One of which is that we must know how to work well with angels (Hebrews 12:18-22). There are four keys to activating angelic ministration 🔸️ Reverence for the Lord (Psalm 34:7) 🔸️ Be committed to knowing and doing the word (Psalm 103:20) 🔸️ Prayer (Daniel 10:12) 🔸️ Sacrifice (Acts 10:2-4) Our walk with Christ can not be accomplished without angels, and how well you work with angels will determine the effectiveness of your ministry.…

Lessons from an encounter with heaven and hell: Hell: * Endurance of physical and emotional torment in multiple folds of the worst human feelings. * Forever haunted by guilt after a realization of God’s eternal love, leading to hopelessness. Learning to wait is a very important aspect of spiritual growth. There’s something about the environment that tells us how we are to operate. God didn’t just create animals, he created an environment for them to depend on. You were created for you to depend on. Gen 2:8. Eden is a geographical location but not just a geographical location. In the Garden of Eden, the supernatural overlapped with the natural. Eden was the embassy of heaven on earth. Eden was a portal. Heavenly realities were simulated in Eden. When you think of Eden, you think of priesthood. Gen 12:7, 28:12-13. Eden is a place where man can receive instructions from his maker. Exodus 19:16-19, Ezekiel 28:13-14. Sinai was a type of Eden. Eden is a spiritual place but does not have to be at the entrance of heaven. A portal can make two far places close. Anywhere can be Eden, God just has to put around it an environment that is conducive. You no longer have to take a sacrifice to a physical place, you will be the offering, the priesthood, the sacrifice, and the temple. Because the sacrifice has been paid once and for all, reconciliation is the message. Everything Christ was, we are. We continue where Christ stopped. You can be a churchgoer and be using worldly wisdom. 1Kings 6: 31-:32. John 1:51, 4:24..2Cor 5:19. We continue where Christ is. In Christ was the provision of salvation, In us was the announcement of salvation. Heb 12:23, John 7:38, 2Cor 5:20 When you come to the consciousness of priesthood it’s a new mentality. God has made an avenue through Christ by which his presence can permeate the earth. God has made you an ever-flowing spring of his spirit. You are the bridge and the answer. We have been given the privilege of priesthood. It is our calling to be envoys. We are to carry more than just for us, we are to distribute.…

Who Are You? A teaching on believers' authority Acts 19:13, Ephesians 1:15 The goal of the gospel is not for illumination, the goal is to salvation. The Bible tells us that we have an inheritance of power, just because you're saved doesn't mean you know who you are, there is a place of knowing. We must know who we are as believers! There is more to prayer! It is first an identity. A lot of people are prayerful without a consciousness of inheritance. Acts 1:8, Galatians 3:27 The problem with a lot of Christianity is that it is always futuristic ignoring what they have now. The word 'Baptism' describes who we are in Christ as believers. Baptism is more than just water; water is just a spiritual metaphor for something real in the spirit. Baptism is a garment of influence, it wears you with the influence of Christ. Ambience: The Jealousy of God Here are some important points to remember: 📌 The presence and provision of God is in his purpose. 📌 The biggest principle of Power is not in prayer and fasting but in purpose 📌 When you find yourself in the center of God’s will, you will see and walk in power. 📌 You don’t just wake up and follow trends as a Christian. You must inquire of the Lord. 📌 The jealousy of God is God’s vehement commitment to the execution of his plan and him fighting against anyone trying to contradict what He is trying to achieve with you. Isaiah 9:6 📌 The jealousy of God is the zeal of God. God’s jealousy stewards his purpose for your life. 📌 One of the most powerful things you can do is to side with God. 📌 If you are in the will of God, the supernatural flows easily. 📌 Your money is a symbol of your energy. Apostle Emmanuel Iren Topic: Seeing in the Place of Prayer Text: Romans 8:26 There are times we go into prayer to see, not to make requests. (Habakkuk 2:1) (Acts 1:3) Things to know about making requests in prayer. 1. Sometimes; it is possible that it is the will of God, but it is not time. (Zechariah 10:1) 2. Sometimes, it is not God’s will at all. You can be wrong in your desire. There is an extent to which your free will can be exercised (Jeremiah 29:11). God has a plan for your life. Go to God with a clean sheet, let him give you desires. Also, allow God tell you No. Sometimes, the answer you need is strength. Most times, your prayers are even an underestimation of the power of God. (Ephesians 3:20-21) How can I function in this level of sight? 1. Love the Lord with your heart. There is a powerful rule of the spirit and that rule is “indifference.” Just wanting what the Lord wants and loving what he loves. (Matthew 6:33). Love the Lord and Serve the Lord. 2. Prayer. (Acts 9:11). Praying in the spirit stirs up every spiritual faculty in you. 3. Worship. There are places in worship where secrets are revealed. Areas we will receive sight. 1. Relationships 2. The gift of tongues is not the exuberance of a particular denomination, it is hinged to the very promise of our salvation. 📌Luke 24:25-27; You get into a new level of Bible study when you understand that the priority of the scriptures is salvation. The entirety of the scripture has a scope. 📌It begins with the promise of salvation in the Old Testament, the provision of salvation in the Gospels, and the announcement of salvation in the Epistles. 📌So, there are three Jewish feasts that God instituted through Moses that talk about Jesus’ coming: 1. The Passover: This was a feast to commemorate God delivering the people from Egypt. - This was a very powerful metaphor of salvation. The children of Israel were not going to be saved just because they were children of Israel. The only thing that would occasion their exemption from death was the blood on the lintel. This means that the only reason the Egyptians died is because they didn’t know. If they had known, they’d have put blood on their lintel. This is a picture of the final judgment. It doesn’t matter your background, the only thing that will save you at the end is the blood. - During the Passover, God asked them to eat unleavened bread. From I Corinthians 5:7, we understand that the unleavened bread was to represent sanctification because the yeast was a metaphor for people who didn’t believe. 2. The Feast of Weeks: Immediately after the Passover celebration, they begin to count 49 days after the Passover. 49 days is 7 weeks; Exodus 34:22. The feasts are connected. There is no feast of weeks without the Passover. - According to God’s timeline, in delivering the Israelites from Egypt, they should have been in the promised land by 50 days and partaken of the first fruit of that land. - In the Passover, they ate unleavened bread, but by the feast of weeks, they bake 2 loaves of leavened bread to say ‘We who used to be slaves are now free’ - The feast of weeks was supposed to commemorate the giving of the law. 3. The Feast of Tabernacle By studying these feasts you ought to have understood God’s redemptive plan and His timeline. 1. Christ is our Passover: I Corinthians 5:7; so the unleavened bread had nothing to do with eating, it related to people. What happened in Egypt was a prophetic picture. - The Passover was celebrated on the 10th day of the first month - Every Jewish family will buy a lamb, familiarize themselves with the lamb for three days, and clean their house of every leavened bread. - On the 14th day, they’ll kill the lamb without breaking its bones. 📌When we come to the Gospels, we see that on the 10th day of the first month, Jesus gets a donkey and rides into Jerusalem. This means that the lambs the families were buying were a type and shadow of the real Lamb. He is then brought before Caiphas, the one that handles all the temple sacrifice. He is then sacrificed at the same time that the lambs are being sacrificed. 2. Christ is our first fruit: I Corinthians 15:20-23. The Jews were also called first fruit because through them, the world would hear about Christ 📌And so, Pentecost is attached to salvation. Tongues is not the exuberance of a particular denomination, it is hinged to the very promise of our salvation. 📌Now, what does this have to do with tongues? 📌God showed the Israelites so many signs so they could understand that He was behind their prophets. So for God to catch their attention He must do it in a dramatic way. He must show that Jesus is greater in a more dramatic way. The mount of transfiguration. (2 Cor. 3:6) At the giving of the law, 3000 people were judged and killed but at Pentecost, 3000 people were saved. 📌If God did all that in the Old Testament, we must have even more signs. Fire will fall not on Sinai, but on us. The God of the Bible will always announce himself.…

God uses foolish things in the world to confound the wise, and it is the same with the gift of tongues. Minister: Apostle Emmanuel Iren Title : Paper Tiger Objectives of this sermon -To highlight the origin of Fear -To understand what God done about Fear -To understand how to handle Fear 📝Where does fear come from? Fear is seen in the Bible as early as Genesis 3:10 where Adam and Eve were afraid after they disobeyed and ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil is a principle of carnal perspective of life. The devil (serpent) convinced them by telling them: -Their eyes will be open - Genesis 3:4 i.e. they will have carnal illumination, giving them a new perspective of wisdom - Genesis 3:6 -They will be as God, meaning they would not be subject to the law of God anymore Romans 8:7 However, after they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, their eyes opened and they felt ashamed and anxious (Genesis 3:10)- this is the origin of Fear. 📝The solution to Anxiety is not that your needs are met. James 4v1-3 When anxiety arises, some believe that fulfilling specific needs will bring happiness. While milestones like job, marriage, success are good, they should not be dependent on your happiness. 📝What has God done about Fear: Philippians 4:6-7: Anxiety might have been normalized but it is not normal, it’s a foreign attribute. God has given you his spirit - Romans 8:2. You are free from the law of sin and death. Luke 12:25 - Worry is pointless, it won’t make you better. You must learn to handle things you can’t control, God wants you to practice peace. Philippians 4:6-7 - When you are hard pressed on every side, take everything to God in prayer, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart, which means God responds to not just your prayer but also gives you peace. 📝How do you produce this peace? With prayer and supplication. Prayer is therapeutic. Spend time praying in tongues. God’s priority in spite of all that you’re going through, is not just to answer you, he wants to build your spirit and make you strong because in this world, you’ll have tribulation.…

Title: Handling Suffering Minister: Apostle Emmanuel Iren 2 Corinthians 4:4 There is such a thing as blindness of the mind and this is what the people outside Christ experience. However, God remedies this situation by putting His Spirit within us and causing us to walk in His statutes. Ezekiel 36:26-27,31 Christianity is a miracle of changed desires. The things that were irresistible when we were in the world are no longer irresistible in Christ. Gal 5:16-18, Col 3:1-3 Joy should always be an offshoot of our location being seated with Christ Joy is not inherently an emotion for the believer. Joy is a new appetite. Joy is a miracle How do I know that I need to set my affections? 1. If I lack patience to learn: the moment you find yourself losing staying power, you need to check it. You’re not a customer in the church, you’re a disciple. 2. You hardly share the things of God: Hebrews 1:9. When last did you share a sermon excerpt with someone that you thought needed it? Joy is an appetite issue. For a child of God, it is never just about the beat in a song. Psalm 1:1-2 God’s law can become a delight for you not just a duty. Guard your heart with all diligence, like the way a Customs officer guards the border, don’t allow just anything come in, Psalm 1:32, Ephesians 5:6-11 This is how habits are built: Repetition-Easy-Often-Pleasure-Habit If Spiritual things always feel long for you, your flesh is alive. Adam abused the freewill and sinned Romans 5:12 God empathized with us in our frailty, and his example is a lesson on how to handle pain. Isaiah 53:3 How to handle tribulations by looking up to Jesus 📝Jesus Set Joy Before Himself: Heb 12:2 (The Greek word translates for someone to set joy in the mind). You might be going through a lot but it is important and possible to set Joy before you by recognizing what is going well in your life. PS: You cannot control what you cannot control. Your worrying won't change anything. This is a mentality to have. 📝Despise the shame. Hebrews 12:2. 📝He did not treat the pain as though it were final: You need to stop acting like this trial will be the end of your life. Psalms 16:8-11. 📝 Trusting God with your life not just in salvation but in every practical area of your life. 📝 Let the Lord himself be your Joy Psalm 16:8 You want to be happy all your life? Dragnet: The Protocol of Soulwining." The environment God has planted us is where our message of the gospel should start. Here are points to remember from today's teaching: - Foretelling(telling what will happen), forth-telling (declaring what is to come), and prophetic coincidences(God bending a person’s will to do what He wants without them knowing) are all forms of prophecy. - Many times, there is a correlation between our location and our purpose. - God works in every situation, whether good or bad. - God should be the principle for our lives. Unconventional Forms of Evangelism: - Assimilating yourself into your environment through contact without contamination. - Multiplying: One of the most powerful things you can do for the gospel is procreation. - Dominating: Don't run away from advantages. Whatever you can do that gives the gospel a footing, do it. Finally, one of the best things you can do for the gospel is to be good at what you do. You're an ambassador for the gospel. Whatever you do, ensure it's for the furtherance of it.…

Topic: The Love of God is comparative Text: Matt 22:35-40, Rom 8:35 Ministering: Apostle Emmanuel Iren 📌 The 10 commandments were summarized to 1, which is Love. 📌 There must be a total investment of your life in Christian service. You must love the way God demands it. 📍 God didn't just say that you should love Him, there must be an intensity. 📍 Never think that an idol is a sinful place, but anything that takes the place of God is an idol. 📍 It is not enough to love God, you must love Him above all things (Matt 6:24, Exo 34:14 ) 📍 No matter what you don't do, if you love money, it will subject you to do it. 📍 Miracles are easy when your heart is aligned. 📍 Godly jealousy is proof of genuine love. 📌 Don't provoke God to jealousy in your life. Get serious with God. 📌 Holiness: Holiness is that which is separate. Holiness is excellence, that which is not common. The opposite of Holiness is common.1Sam 21:4). 📍 Until you start treating service as sacred, there is a depth of God you can only get. 📍Realign your priorities to God, and he'll flood your life with miracles. 📍Until you get to a point in your life where you love God more than all that He can give and all that you're going through, you've not loved Him enough. (1 Cor 1:4). 📍 Look beyond yourself and be thankful for all that God has done around you. 📍 Those who are fervent in prayer should be fervent in praise. 📍 It is a rule in healing that before your healing comes, you must see it.…

Topic: Believer's authority pt1 (Sons of God) Text: Luke 10:19, 1 John 3:1, Ministering: Apostle Emmanuel Iren Note 📌 The highest revelation in God is the revelation of sonship. 📌 There is a difference between authority and power. Authority is backed by power but it's not power. It's who authority represents that you submit to not the power. Authority describes legality. 📍 There is what to see before what to experience. 📍 In Christ, your position is more important than your experience. Your experience will fluctuate over time but your position in Christ shouldn't. 📍Authority emphasizes position and identity while Power emphasizes capacity. 📍 There is no greater privilege than to be called the son of God (1Jhn 3:1) Your sonship is the envy of the spirit realm. Rabbi: The need for a Bible Teacher Minister: Apostle Emmanuel Iren God wants all of us to come to unanimity of the faith and before we get there, we need to take Bible study seriously. We need to immerse ourselves in the knowledge of the word because that’s the only way satan can ‘get behind’. Galatians 3:11 Salvation does not come by any rite but only by faith. Interpretation of the scriptures is important. Why must the Bible be interpreted? 1. Because of the nature of the scriptures. The Bible is the word of God, given in human words, in history. Meaning, it has both a divine side and a natural side to it. The fact that it’s in the Bible doesn’t mean it is the word of God. The word of God has to be consistent with Christ. The word of God must be read in context. - You must understand the language it was written in and the history of the people so that the true meaning will not be lost. - You must understand the difference in Culture. 1Corinthians 11. Romans 16:16. 2 Timothy 2:15, 2. You don’t subject the word to personal interpretation. Knowledge must multiply grace. Jesus must be glorified in theology. The sacred truth of God’s word is to drive you to your knees, not to bring others down.…

Sin & Holiness (Afternoon Session) Apostle Emmanuel Iren There is a difference between what is Fundamentally Right and what is supernaturally right. The Bible describes Sin in two words - Katah and Armatia. Both of them mean: to miss the mark. To be Holy means to be separate. Holiness describes excellence. Holiness describes sacredness. Holiness is not Moral Excellence. If Moral excellence is holiness how about when the Bible uses an inanimate object as holy like the mountain? 📌 Covetousness Covetousness is a Sin. Ephesians 5:3, Colossians 3:5 We are people devoid of greed as believers. Covetousness in another context, God said you should do it. The Bible says to covet earnestly the best gifts, and covet spiritual gifts. 1 Corinthians 12:31 Is covetousness right or wrong? There are some things that are wrong if you put them in the wrong context. 📌 Passion There is a type of passion that when directed at God is not wrong but any other thing you love like with that type of passion is a sin. His Spirit His Names: The name of God reveals the revelation of the specific reputation of God. You must experience God in entirety. You are doing yourself a disservice if you only experience the providential God without the God that heals, etc. His Son: In Jesus, you have the fullness of the Father. Develop a relationship with the Son, you cannot access God without the Son. (John 14:6) His Spirit: You cannot know the Son without the Spirit, it’s in the Spirit that the Son benefits you. The first human interaction was not Man to Man it was Man to God. Q: Who was the first person man ever saw? A: God. Before the human eyes saw anything natural, the human eyes saw God. God created you to be naturally supernatural. Isaiah 48:17: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go. Eph.3:20 -If you don't see the son of God in the word of God then you don't know the word of God. - There are things that God wants to bring into your life that he must first bring to your mind. - God often uses the power of imagination to transform the faith life of a believer. -Imagination is a gift that the lord has given you. Use it. How does this gift play a role in the miraculous? -God exceeds your expectations but your imagination is important -Experiences are powerful. HOW TO SERVE GOD. Wrong expectations will make you miss out on what God is doing. It can also lead to disappointment. As a worker in God’s vineyard, there is how to serve God. This is called Reasonable service (Rom 12:2) The reason you must present yourself acceptable is because there is an acceptable will. Your sincerity is not enough. You must find out what is acceptable. Zeal without knowledge killed people in the Old Testament (Leviticus 10:1-2) God is still God and consistent with His own will When you learn this you will understand the posture and vocabulary of worship. 2 Sam 7: 1 - 27 God is God-centered. (Joshua 5:13-14) The biggest secret of power isn’t prayer and fasting as important as they are. The biggest secret of power is purpose. Prayer is most effective when you find your purpose and pray prayers that are consistent with it God is teaching our hands to war. Do not have a stereotypical impression of anointing as long as it’s in tandem with God’s word. Moses held a rod Joshua held a sword Same mantle but different expressions.…

Manifesting The Presence of God Apostle Emmanuel Iren The Bible with regard to the presence of God is context specific. - The Omnipresence of God refers to God being everywhere at once (Psalm 139:7-8NKJV) - The omnipresence of God keeps us accountable - The omnipresence of God applies to all men and creatures while the indwelling presence of God applies only to those who believe in Jesus (John 14:23) As believers He has made us His temple and dwelling place. Even though God is everywhere at once He doesn’t manifest everywhere. There is a training required to manifest the presence of God. God’s answer to every need of man is the presence. God doesn’t need to break chains. Chains break off on their own in the presence of God. (Acts 12:7 ) God doesn’t recognize limitations. Jesus went where no one will go in Matt 8:28 There is a level of authority that empowers you to go where no one can go. Learn to be conscious of the manifest presence of God If you have the in-dwelling presence of God you can stir up the manifest presence of God. It takes consciousness. You must lose satisfaction with the ordinary life. How to manifest the presence of God ▪️By Knowledge- Have a reorientation of your understanding. This will change your expectations. ▪️Doing God’s work-Spiritual gifts get stronger with use. If you don’t use it you won’t grow in it even if you have it. ▪️Demonstration - You will never see the power that you are not ready to demonstrate. Learn to put power to the test with confidence. Don’t play it safe Talk back at the devil. Our words are not cheap.…

By the revelation of Jesus Christ, we come to an awareness of who we are. The moment Peter correctly identified Jesus, he found his own identity (Matt. 16: 13-18). “There is an identity you’ll only find in God because He is the center of your life” In an exceedingly profound sermon titled ‘Who is Jesus, and Who Are We?’ The true identity of a believer goes beyond the ‘Christian’ tag—DOULOS; the distinction between Doulos and the modern definition of ‘Slave’; and the believer’s responsibility as one bought with a price. The believer is both a son and ‘Doulos’ (slave/servant) to God. Paul in his spiritual consciousness repeatedly introduced himself as a slave of God (Phil. 1:1) even though the term carries a manifestly negative connotation. Why? 1. As believers we were bought with a price (1 Corinth. 6:19) 2. Our ultimate goal becomes pleasing God (Gal. 1:10) However, there are stark differences between the contemporary and Biblical definitions of a slave — as well as there are similarities. In more modern days, slavery: * involves kidnapping (against Exodus 21:16) * is based on racial discrimination (against Lev. 19:33-34) * involves sexual harassment of women (against Deut. 22:25) * entails being bound and overworked Contrary to the aforementioned, a slave in Biblical context was entitled to a day off a week (Ex. 23:12) had special holidays (Lev. 23:7; Deut. 10:17) and special treatments by guideline (Ex. 21:20-26) Who then are slaves in the Bible? * debtors who couldn’t pay back * Stealing could make one a slave (Ex. 22:1) * a poor person could wilfully surrender himself to work for a master (Deut. 15:11) Conclusively, God’s rules are non-negotiable, Christ’s sacrifice bestows upon us a responsibility to no longer live for ourselves, but for Him who died for us! (2 Corinthians 5:15)…

Our salvation is grace Our gospel is grace It is the summation of everything we represent as believers When it comes to life and death, don’t assume people know the gospel; it is so important because it saves the sinner and is taught to the believer. The cross has 2 powerful messages: 1. The gravity of sin 2. The love of God By the sacrifice on the cross, God lets us know He loves us as much as He loves Jesus. John 17:23b.…

Two important marks of a growing believer. 1: A growing Christian has an appreciation and appetite for the things of God. This is what the miracle of changed desires refers to. A growing believer prioritizes Christ, His plans, and his purposes over anything else. We must learn to set our affections on the things of God. Assess yourself personally to know what your priorities are and if you notice that you’re not prioritizing God and His message, make the necessary change. God must be your utmost priority.…

We can not understand the gravity of sin until we understand two things: - The utter helplessness of man - The total sovereignty of God He also elucidated on the metaphors for sin in the Bible: - Sin is a debt. Matthew 6:12 - Sin is a weight. Genesis 4:13 - Sin is a stain. Isaiah 1:18 - The only thing that can give us access to the scroll (eternal life) mentioned in Revelations 5:1-6 is the lamb that was slain and its blood. - When it comes to the devil, our number one defense is the blood because it is what marks us as "touch not" - Our efforts will never be enough. Our only assurance is THE BLOOD! The blood of Jesus is a double payment for our sins! Glory!! 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽…

This Grace vs Disgrace Ephesians 4:11-14 There are different views on salvation, however, it’s God's desire that there’s unanimity in the faith, that we all study Jesus and believe in the same thing. What does the Bible say about Salvation - What is the true message? 🔺Colossians 3:1-3 helps to establish who we are in Christ, and what Christ has done for us and highlights that the grace we have received is not to gratify lustful desires, instead it calls for a change of heart, appetite, and priorities 🔺Romans chapters 1-11 establish who we are in Christ, while chapter 12 talks about how we believers should respond to the mercies of God i.e. by presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God. Nowhere in the Bible was sin treated like it does not matter Other important points to note: 🔺 Just as with romantic relationships, in doctrinal relationships, when two people can not agree on a particular thing, it is most times because there are trust issues. If you have a bias against the Grace message, it’ll be uneasy for you to accept the truth. 🔺Never judge the validity of a doctrine SOLELY by its excesses. 🔺Just because something sounds stricter doesn’t make it right. Put aside preconceived notions and believe in God’s word. Three simple things to know about Grace: 🔺Grace is not fair: Romans 9:30-31, Romans 10:1-3. Salvation is not to be worked for, it is not about your works. Matthew 21:31. The only way to be saved, is to believe in Jesus, moral excellence/being a good person is not enough to grant you passage into the Kingdom. 🔺Grace is absolutely undeserved. You may be giving to church and joining prayer platforms but are you born again? Except you are born again you can not enter into the kingdom of God. Luke 18:12-14. We must come to God knowing that the only qualification for salvation is faith in Jesus. 🔺Grace annoys religious people. Matthew 20:1-16 - The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard. Jonah 4:2-3. Do not let anyone (including religious people) confuse you about the truth about salvation.…

How do we create systems for the word of God to thrive? At the micro level: - Never underestimate the power of your environment. - Choose your friends wisely. Consecration thrives in community. - Decide for yourself and your household. At the Macro level: - Build systems. Don't expect a system to remain if you don't intentionally build it. - Think big! Figure out strategically what you can do for the gospel and pursue it. - Buy the field. The person who owns the field controls the treasure. - Take action and get to work.…

Lamp and Light Spiritual roots just like physical roots need light. John 8:12- I am the light of the world and he who follows me shall not walk in darkness The man in Christ does not stumble in darkness. He has an inner compass that guides him. Light is the truth and impact on our lives: the point of knowing the word is doing it. Mathew 7:24-27. Do the word of God > Why must we walk in the word? 1. God authored it - 2 Peter 1:21 2. Jesus approved the scriptures 3. Your security and safety is in the word- Psalm 119:9 4. The word of God gives us wisdom for our finances. 5. The word of God is our assurance and future N.B: Don't hide away from the word of God. Hide the word of God in your heart.
