I really appreciate you and all you've done for me. So here we are at the Southern Command Center once again, and I want to share something with you. I like I've said in previous podcasts, I don't like to get topical about the day's events, but I'm about to do it. Here's something. I read yesterday on a LinkedIn post about somebody predicting that in five years, the phone, the telephone making calls is going to be replaced by LinkedIn. I'm, I'm pausing for a second to allow you to let that sink in. Now, my response to that was thank you. Because what I know for a fact is that whenever somebody used the word predict, you need to do the exact opposite. I mean, this guy knows what life is going to be like in five years, you don't know what life's going to be like in five minutes. And here's something, the latest prediction because of all the world's events, everything's going to be changed. More people working from home is the new thing. Everyone's going to work from home. Let me tell you something. And this is one of those simple things that people don't realize. It's like truths that you try to avoid because it doesn't fit your, your worldview. The fact is this… (dramatic pause) What do you think of that, Mr. Producer Man? The fact is this working from home sucks. It just sucks. You try to make it good. You try to say, Oh, it's great. I just have to go downstairs. Well, what happens is you're missing humanity. You need other people. I might need it more than most. I got it, but there's a very few people out there in the world that can you work? Isn't just about production. I mean, we're talking now I'm 54 years old. I'm coming from this perspective. But if I'm 21, if I'm 22 and I'm stuck in my flipping house, making phone calls, doing this, looking at four walls, like I'm going stir crazy! Are you out of your mind? How are people going to meet their spouse? How are you going to learn how to deal in public? How are you going to, how are you going to be a social creature, an animal will you, how are you going to stop being afraid? You know, the more you stay in your house, the more afraid you get, you know, the more you're worried about trying new things. Imagine if you're 34 years old and new thing is to step out of your house. I mean, what what's going on here? You become a less of a hero, but working from home sucks, it's not going to last eventually human beings’ takeover. Listen, you're going to have your home office. Good. Set it up. That's good. And all that stuff. But when they start telling me when they start predicting that the commercial real estate market is going to crash because everybody's going to work from home. It's time to start investing in commercial real estate. Just do the opposite. You see, you're a salesperson you're out there and you, your world is with other people. You can do stuff on the phone and I'm a big proponent of it getting on the phone, but the phone is to make appointments with people. The phone is to you. It's very rare that you're going to make a sale of any magnitude, you know, just on the phone, talking to somebody, because then you're just a commodity. You’ve got to bring that human element into it. I've said it before, but this, this bears repeating in this world where everything is commoditized. You're not going to someone you're not, someone's not going to knock on your door and say, I got this new thing. What we do is you pay us a little money and then when you need help, we take care of it. We pay for it after a little deduction. It's like, you're not “Honey! You got to come here. It's this new thing, insurance! Have you ever heard of it? It's unbelievable!” Nothing is new anymore. Even the phones. They fold up now they're new. You talk to it and listens to you. It drives your car. That's not even amazing anymore. I mean, nothing is going to surprise you. Like that's really cool. I have to get it. Cause you know, something bigger is going to happen. Everything's commoditized in this world right now. The most important part of any sale is the salesperson and that relationship that you bring to the party. Oh, by the way, parties, how are you going to go to parties? Now, if you can't get out of your house, now there’s these Zoom rooms that are good, and people are talking about ways to make Zoom more entertaining. You know, how you make Zoom more entertaining, get everybody in one room and videotape the whole thing and have what's called a party like a networking group with human beings there. And you want to videotape it, go ahead and videotape it. Watch what happens. You know, this is it, this, this whole thing of, you know, staying home and working out ways to be more insulated and, and more independent on yourself and on your, in your little world is going to explode one day. Cause people need to get out. People need to work. Working from home stinks. Now, of course, this is just my opinion. And I'm not asking you to believe me, but you're allowed to be wrong anytime you want. That's what makes it a great country. That's a great place to be. Don't let anybody talk you into the idea. I it's, it's a great, it's a great thing to have the option to work from home, but it's very, but it's imperative. If you're concerned with having a truly successful career you need to get out and see people in person. It's good for your life, and it's good for your soul as well. It is a different feeling. You know, it starts from in person is best, video calls are next, phone calls are up there. Emails are getting worse. And then, you know, even a letter is better than emails and all that stuff, but, but the in person visit that touch that connection is a thousand times better than number two. And especially now when people are literally in fear and in some cases, you know, frightened for the right reasons. If you could show bravery by doing something as simple as making a in person contact call, that moves you up the ladder and it, it, it puts you in a position of strength, especially by the way, if you're visiting somebody in their place of business, they're already out there working. And so now here, you're going to tell them, I'm sorry, Mr. Jones. I'm not going to come visit you because I'm chicken is basically what you're saying to them. And they're out there doing it. And people like hustlers. If you're dealing with business owners, like I deal with many times, if you're dealing with the person who started the business or the ones up there who are, you know, up in the C suite who started with the business, when he just got started, these, these guys and gals are hustlers. These are guys that guys are people that are not, they're not afraid of stuff like that. They look at that as a challenge and you need to meet them on their level. If you meet them on a level of, you know, coming from fear and not, and not talking to them for that reason to not showing up and not, not visiting and not doing the stuff that they did when they got started. You're, you're just, you're putting yourself in a position where you're just another salesperson. You're just another person that, you know, the, another commodity that we could tell us of, you know, how they are type of thing, but you can meet them on their level and even surpass them with bravery. If they're too chicken to come in and you're, Hey, I'm here at your place. Where are you? And I say to chicken, not like its a, an insult. I don't mean it that way. It's just chicken. Chicken's a funny word. You know, there are certain funny words. My mother in law says that I like to, cause I'm, I help people, a little thing. You don't know, you're just listening to them, but you know, I'm big with just helping individuals. I don't think of causes, but I'm big with individuals. And my mother in law says, you know, Danny, he's the type of person he likes to attract chickens with broken wings. Chicken's a funny word, but listen, I'm not calling any of you chicken. I'm giving you the opportunity to make America what it always is supposed to be the land of the free and the home of the brave. And if you're not brave you, the salespeople, the people on the front line are not brave. We will very quickly not have the freedom for this country. We're depending on you; I'm depending on you. I make the news. I don't watch the news. I'm a leader. I'm a force for good. I'm a force for God. I set the standard; I defy the odds. I stand up, I take charge, I win, and then I walk in. Even just saying it to the microphone and envisioning all the listeners out there right now, it forces me to stand up straighter. It forces me to change my posture and my physiology to match what just came out of my mouth. And that's just physically, what could it be doing to your brain? What could it be doing to your head, to all the muscles and all that stuff that's makes you and that stuff? It just makes a difference. You know, when people, where even you get a new suit. Or a new outfit and you don't get it fitted. I mean, it's this, it's the same suit actually. You do get a fitted, a fitted suit or a fitted outfit that you look really good in in the store, but if you're in a kind of grumpy mood or kind of downward mood, you don't even wear the same clothes the same way, and it's perceptible by everyone, by the way, including yourself. The first person you need to impress on day one is yourself. Do I have routines for everything, but I have a routine. When I wake up in the morning, I wake up in the morning and I go into my, into the bathroom and on the in the bathroom mirror right there. That's where I keep my goals on the mirror. I'm forced to look at it. And I have one little thing there. I have several things, but the one thing that makes sure it's square and center in my eyesight and that I can't miss it says act like the person you would like to see in this mirror. You can't read that without standing up straighter. I mean, nobody wants to get grumpy people. I've said it before, I mean. It's not like you're going to out-grump somebody when somebody's over by being, you know, more grumpy than, I mean, even grumpy people don't like grumpy people. You can't out grump somebody to them start to like you. Oh, you know, he's a decent guy, but I saw him really grumpy and now he's my best friend. I mean, you're not going to out-grump somebody into friendship, but you can do the opposite. So, act like the person who wants someone. I look in the mirror, I say, what's the type of person I want to be today? And invariably his smile at it, and it's goofy. I mean, you laugh at yourself like, but I do that on the phone too. I don't know what happened here. I got a phone call. And I was supposed to, I think I answered it. They might be hearing the podcast on my phone, call Mr. Producer, man, putting his head down as I'm doing this. So, this person's listened, but the call ended anyway. Then, you know, I once got a lead, I was a stockbroker and I cold called a wrong number, and they became a customer. I mean, I got a customer from a raw number on a cold call. That's what happens when you're, you're in your, when you're in the zone, that's what happens when you're ready to go. He said, oh my gosh, I got the wrong number. The other day I called somebody and like, they totally didn't need my services and I was calling them on the phone, and I said, you know what? This is how I ended. I said, you know, you seem like a really decent person. I like you a lot, but you're a terrible prospect for me. And the person, and I laughed a little that little, and the person laughed right back at me. And you know what he said afterwards? It was unbelievable. He says, well, tell me what you really do. Maybe I know someone tell me what you really do. Maybe I know someone. I think everybody out there, if you're in sales for any amount of time, you've gotten leads and referrals from people who were never customers. When you try that, I'm just not going to get familiar. Maybe you can get somebody. Anyhow, I was talking about smiling and acting like the person you'd like to be, and here's a little tip of the day that you need to do is very important when your phone rings. A lot of people, what they do is answer and say, who's calling am I answered? That is, who the hell cares? I don't want you to know. If you know who's calling you, you're immediately going to change your, your expression, your voices, your tonality, your enthusiasm, your physiology. You're going to change it all by the name of the person that calls you. If it's a family member, you got one thing. If it's a prospect, you got another thing. If it says potential spam. You got another thing, a way that you're going to answer the phone. My thing is you do with all the same, the same way. Don't even look at it. What I want you to do is look at your phone and smile at it like a goofball. Just like that. If you're watching here on the video podcast, of which there's none, you'd see me smiling right now. So, I'm smiling, I'm smiling right at my phone, and then you answer it. Your voice changes. Hey, this is Dan. How can I help you? Boom. Nine times out of 10 someone will stop and say, boy, you seem like in a good mood. I'm so glad I called you today. No matter what it is, even if it's potential spam, it's the same thing. By the way, I've changed my whole mental state when I get a spam call now, right now I say, you know, I'm really not interested in what you got right now, but I do some sales training. Who would be the person I would need to speak with in regard to helping you guys sell more? I mean, the quickest way to get somebody off the phone is to ask for money. Or ask for an opportunity or asked to speak to someone else and they'll just say, hell no. I know. That's all important. Asking questions is you completely turn the tables on people as far as who's in control of the conversation. That's magic stuff. You know, you are listening to the podcast for enthusiasm and inspiration and motivation to help your day in your sales career, but once you just got was absolute sales magic. If you just take those two tips, a smile before you answer the phone, and when you get a spam call, use it as an opportunity to practice your prospecting. Because I'm feeling good today. I mean, some days you wake up and you just feel a little bit better than the day before for no apparent reason, but when that happens, you might as well use it. You know what I'm saying? In fact, it, when you're feeling that way, when you're feeling like that little extra bit of energy, that's a sign from God. That you need to get out and spread the word you need to spread the gospel. It's like you've been given a gift and especially if it's either a Monday or a Friday or even better if it's raining because people don't work. Most salespeople won't work on three days a week. Monday. Friday and when it's raining, so if it's raining on a Monday, you want to make sure to give everything you got right now. No competition on a rainy Monday baby. It's just not there. Now, if you're, if it's raining and it's Monday and you just got off listening to the daily dose of the beach, it's like an impenetrable fortress. It's like you've entered Nirvana. You know, the last podcast that we did at the beginning, I said "MONTEQUILLA" and was just, I just went on and you Mr. Producer, man, and maybe you the listening public, just let it pass as if it meant nothing. But you did ask me about it. And so, I feel it necessary to explain myself. Monte Kia is just a word saying, here's something that many people don't know about me. I don't curse. I don't swear. It's just my thing. When I was going to school in elementary school, I figured it out, but mainly in junior high, I just wasn't good looking enough to use that as my in, you know, and then I got into high school, I realized not only that, but I just wasn't athletic enough to use that as my end to get him. And so, you have to be different in certain ways. And so, one of them was to be funny, but that doesn't work all the time. But the other one was, I would just do the opposite. So, if everybody was, if everybody was drinking, I wouldn't drink. If everybody was smoking pot, I wouldn't smoke pot. And if everybody was cursing, I wouldn't curse. And the weirdest thing happened, and I got into this. Kind of popular circles because I was funny, but by me not cursing, it was such a different thing that I found that girls, especially not really guys, but girls especially, wouldn't curse in front of me. And it's not like I told anybody, Hey, don't do that. I don't accept that or whatever. It's just that if you act a certain way and you're consistent with it, your customers or your prospects or whoever you're around. They'll start imitating you. You stand up straight. People will start standing up straight anyway, so because I didn't curse, I was really adept at inventing new words and like, so let's say you see a montequilla, it just means it just means butter. I'll tell you where I got it from. There was an old commercial of Parkay margarine. Do you remember this, Mr. Producer man? Yeah, you do. It was Parkay margarine, and so it was a male or a female sitting at the table and they were putting butter or Parkay on their toast. And someone said, Oh, I'm going to put the margarine on my toast. And then the little margarine can opened up its lip like it was by talking lip. It was all of a sudden it became human and it said, "butter." "Butter." So, he said, Oh, I'm going to put the margarine. And it said "butter." The can was telling you that it was butter. Well one of them was a Hispanic person and he said, Oh, I'm putting margin right on thing. And it goes, 'montequilla.' So, I learned that "montequilla" meant butter, which is such a good word, because you could use it for everything. Let's say for instance, you're walking into your house and all the lights are out and you're going around a corner and you think a Monster's there, and you don't know who's there and you want to ask. And so, you go. I think here, it's like the word dude. You could use it. You see somebody you haven't seen in a long time. You know, you see a pretty girl walking down the street and you can read there with your buddy. You go "MONTEQUILLA!" I mean, what is she going to say? What did you call me? Butter? I mean, you can't go wrong. Anyway, so that's why I said sometimes it just slips out and it's when it's without explanation. You know? It's like when a salesperson starts using initials for their acronyms for their product and nobody knows what they're talking about. By the way, that's something you need to remember you people out there, if you want not to call your customer or prospect and idiot, stop using your industry vernacular. Nobody knows it, but you and either, you know, if they're very confident person, they'll say, well, now what does that mean? Which gives you the opportunity to teach them something which makes them seem better than you make you feel better than your prospect makes your prospect feel like an idiot. And here's your prospect looking at you and like, why is this guy making me feel like an idiot? He's just called me an idiot and now you hate yourself. It doesn't make you look smart when you start using industry vernacular. It makes your customer feel like an idiot and it's really hard to grow business with people that you've just called idiotic. I don't know how I got here, Mr. Producer, man, I'm just going around in circles today, but I feel good about it. Cause today was an awesome day! I got out and about saw some people got caught in traffic. Let me tell you how pleasant people are in spring. I was caught in traffic and it was standstill traffic. It was on a major highway. That must've been a terrible accident. I don't know. But we're there and I was next to another car and I looked over at the other car and the other person looked over at me and we smiled at each other, gave a little thumbs up with each other. "YES, baby! We're both working in traffic, having a good time on a Friday." That's how social people are. If you're kept away from people from too long, they need you, your prospects that you think you're annoying by reaching out to them weekly or every other week or month, they need you on a personal level. They just need you. I'm going to share a story with you right now for something that happened today along these lines of people needing you. I was at a prospect and I went to see the prospect and I never met him before. It was just a phone call. It was an initial meeting with just, you know, hanging out, get to know each other. And I talked to him for a little bit about the business and somehow, we found some commonality that we're talking about with families and this and that. And he went through a particular, a rough spot in his life where he just came home and his wife said, I'm done. And moved out. And it was talking to me about it, and then he started getting really personal. Listen, it was a lot of, it was my fault. I was working too much by the way. He asked me because asked me (which is something I would do, you know), he said, "ask me what time I got up this morning and out of the house." I said, 'what time did you get up this morning and out of the house.' He said, 2:30. This guy's a multi, multimillionaire, giant, big companies, all different all over the place. Got up and got on a job site, 2:30 in the morning, he lays concrete, you got to do it when there's no cars there. And he goes, and that's what I did for many years. And I would come home and work with my boys and, and you know, and play sports with them and do all that stuff. And he goes, man, I just didn't give my wife enough attention. And he goes, I'm telling you this now. This is a prospect who I've never met before. He says, I'm telling you this. Because I don't want you to make the same mistakes that I make. Now I want to reiterate, this is someone that I cold called on the phone, set up an appointment with the auspices of doing some sort of business together, and in the first meeting he was so joyful that a human being came to meet with him, that he felt the need. To protect me, to help me. Now, when we got down to the point of actually doing business together, I was no longer selling. He put me in a position for me that I was actually saying, I really don't know if I could help you or not in this area, but let's figure it out. Let's set up a time to go out and just figure it out. And if it makes sense, we're going to do something not because I did such great moves in manipulation of selling, but I just met the man where he was at this moment in time and let him, let him do what he thinks his purpose here on life is to do at this stage in his life, which is to protect others from the mistakes that he made. And the reason why I share this story with you right now and for all of you listening right now, is to understand that in any time of your career, you have the ability to be on both sides of the table that we're talking about. You can be the person who can accept the advice, or you could be the person to share experiences. But letting the other person talk is letting the other person BUY. And I want you to think that it's manipulation anymore for you to get out there and see customers and really inquire about what's going on in their life. If they don't want to tell you, they won't. If they perceive you as just a salesperson that's pushing stuff out, then you're not going to get any of this juicy stuff. But if you go in there with the right attitude, I don't know if this guy needs me or not. I don't know if there's anything here or not, but you'd ever do business with a bank? You do business with a person at the bank. You don't do business with a landscaping company. You do business with a person that works at a landscaping company and you don't do business with a cement conglomerate. You do business with the owner, a human being of a company. Who's had real life experiences and you meet them where they are at that time. Time, you don't get to worry about selling because they're too busy buying. Man, that was good. I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday. He goes, man, you need, you need constant patting on the back and appreciation, don't you? I've been doing podcasts on a daily basis, and I've seen the sun get brighter each day that I do these podcasts. And then for a very specific reason, we took off a week, and Mr. Producer Man may or may not want me to talk about it, but we had a loss. And out of respect for him, we went dark for a week. And you know what I noticed, Mr. Producer, man? The world went dark with us. It's almost like a day isn't a day unless it has a little Deej in it. And so, we need the podcast and so welcome aboard everybody. I'm so glad to be with you once again here for your daily dose of the Deej with The Sales Energizer Podcast, because I think now more than ever, people need sales, inspiration, sales, motivation, and determination to make your career and your life just a little bit better with some wisdom here in this podcast. Because you can get it nowhere else. You know, people try. You know what, sometimes you want to try different foods. For a long time, I saw everybody was eating cottage cheese and for whatever reason I wanted to like cottage cheese, but cottage cheese - it's a hard thing to like, you know, because, well, first of all, you'll look at it. It just doesn't look like it's done. It just doesn't look finished. And then I think I got to eat it because they always tell you. But then I realized something. People always have it when they're on a diet, they go get cottage cheese. And so, every time I see somebody eating cottage cheese, they're fat. I'm thinking to myself, cottage cheese makes you fat, so don't do that. And you think that has nothing to do with sales - but it does. Many times, people tell you to ask certain questions of your prospect and of your customers because you want to get a yes answer from them. You want to get them nodding their head. So, do you still want to earn more money with your company? Yes. Do you, do you like the fact that most of your salespeople aren't producing yours? You know, so you're forcing them into saying and when people feel forced. When people feel cornered, you're not making any friends. So just like cottage cheese, if you want to get fat, eat cottage cheese. If you don't, don't eat cottage cheese. If you want to keep losing sales, keep forcing your customer into saying things that they don't want to say, and you'll lose all the sales that you want. You got to observe what's going on in your life and your sales life and find out what's happening. Because sometimes you want something, you think about it your entire life. I got to tell you the story but is it okay if I tell you a story about my dad. You know, it goes into spirit. I've learned all my lessons. In fact, I wrote a book, sales, Proverbs, wisdom of the ages, all this wisdom that I got from my dad. It's available. By the way, if you want to pick it up, amazon.com if you've ever heard of amazon.com just go there. Sales Proverbs, wisdom of, it's like, have you ever heard of this thing called Google? It's a new site out there. Yeah, you can go to Google. So, my dad, and this was just one of his things, he's a, he was an old, listen, my dad's an old little Jewish man, and he loved this one joke. And it's, it's a very famous Jewish joke. It's just that, you know, this old guy, this rabbi and rabbis are famous for. For not ever giving you a real answer. You know, they want you to come up with the answer yourself. And so, one day he goes into a place and he, and he orders the matzoh ball soup and he's there in the matzoh ball soup and they didn't give him any silverware. And so instead of asking for the silverware, he calls the waiter over and says, wait, or come over here. He goes, try the soup. And the weight is like, what is it. There's something wrong with the soup. He says, tried the soup. He goes, Mr. you know, Mr., rabbi, I can't, I can't drink your soup. I mean, and he's like, try the soup. And he looks down and he goes, he goes, you got no spoon. He says, I ha, you know. He's just waiting for him to find the answer. Okay, I'll give you this one. So, my dad loved that joke, and when he got sick in his later life, like a year before he died, we used to go to red lobster. Every Wednesday I would go to the nursing home, I'd pick them up, Oh, let's go to red lobster. And we'd go to red lobster. And one day we go there, and he always ordered the same thing, and he got the lobster bisque, which is delicious. And so, he got the lobster biscuit. I got something else and he looks down and as if you know, the heavens had parted and one last time he was given an opportunity. He looks down. No silverware. And so, my 87-year-old, maybe 88-year-old dad who was riddled with dementia and worry and all this stuff transformed into a little kid with a gleam in his eye and a little cottage childish Merck. And he looked at me very mischievously and said, Danny. Want to do it. So, he calls the waiter over and he was just laughing too much and it didn't work out. I mean, we're cracking up. He couldn't actually ask for the Dean. I'll try. The soup couldn't do, but it was as if he waited his entire life for that opportunity. And it was like he almost gave him a reason to live that there was always that opportunity out there. All of you, of my fellow salespeople out there, let me tell you something. Your perfect deal is out there. It's there all around there so many people and there's so many opportunities. It's impossible to think that the chance of a lifetime won't happen to you multiple times. You just got to go out every Wednesday. You got to go out every day. You got to live every day like you're expecting the deal of a lifetime. It's life worth living. That's what my book is about. Sales, Proverbs, wisdom of the ages. It's not how to be a better salesperson. It's how to live a better salesperson’s life. You know? Cause a salesperson’s life is about joy. It's about curiosity. It's about wonder. It's about solving. It's about happiness. It's about just making things happen and not worrying about what could happen bad. I wrote down some things I wanted to talk about my dad here, and the fact of the matter is, hard work, hard work always pays off in the end. Hard work. Always pays off. So, if you're wondering, why am I going on? Why am I driving three hours to this client that this prospect that may or may not happen? Why am I staying up all night working out this PowerPoint presentation to make something good? I had. Just this morning, Mr. Producer, man, things happen this morning. So, I wake up this morning and I, and I do my normal routine. Now I get into work and so from seven 30 to eight 30 I make my cold calls. But today was, it was a Monday and I just, you know, I just didn't have it. Just wasn't in my voice this morning and I didn't really get any leads, but I muscled through it and I made my 2025 dials. I talked to a few people, I got blown away and I reevaluated my script. I did, I just, nothing good happened, but I muscled through it for an hour and then the day got a little better and I was doing all my normal stuff. But around. Three 30 or four 30 today, I get a phone call, you know, from home. Of course, you wouldn't know from home. No, not at all. From Zach and Zach called me and Zach is a guy I haven't spoken with in three years, three years. I didn't speak with Zach and OSA and he calls me, he says, listen, I have a need for boom, boom, boom. He has basically a $15,000 leak. Need. And I haven't talked to him in a long time, but he came, and I finished the call and we got them the contract and we got things set up and you know, we didn't, we didn't actually consummate anything yet. No money's coming out. I still have to find the right person and all this stuff that I have to do. But the point is, I got this opportunity. You know why I got this opportunity? Because I made those cold calls in the morning because I spent the hour and I muscled through that hard work. Because there's something in the world, there's something in the environment. There's something just in the atmosphere that everything just makes sense. If something bad happened, something good is going to happen. Eventually it's all going to even out. If you keep on keeping on and doing the work that you know you need to do, you know, you got to do those extra things. As long as you're going to do it, and as long as you're in the game, as long as you're awake. It's those little extra things that other people aren't willing to do. I'll give you some examples. If you're going to join a networking group or join any kind of group, you might as well be the precedent. You know, nobody wants to take the responsibility of the president. You know, there is some work. There's extra stuff. You got to corral everybody together. You might as well do that because they're looking at you. You might as well be the leader of any group you get involved with. And if you can't be the leader, you might as well be the speaker. You know, you're in a speaker in some, in some capacity, you're in front of the room. Everybody else is looking at you. And when someone has a need and someone knows if, even if you're all part of the same group, if you're all project managers for let's say, and you want to be a project manager. And then you're the speaker of anew in front of all these project managers, and there's a guest there that guests could be the guest of anybody in that group. But who do you think they think is the expert? The dang person in the front of the room. The person who's willing to look like the leader, the person is willing to, who's introduced by the president. And even if you just the president of the group, you get to introduce the speaker. And if you're a guest of your something there and you want to work with someone who you think has knowledge, everybody always goes to the person in the front of the room, the leader, you have many more options when you're in the game, working hard, doing the daily things that you have to do. Like my dad used to say, and I've probably said it before, most people aren't willing to do the hard work it takes to make sales easy, but it's something else. Most people aren't willing to do the hard work to make sales and life fun. How many times do you have to go to red lobster before they give you the lobster bisque? Without silverware? It could take a lifetime. Yeah. But that's a life well lived in constant anticipation for something better, constant hope that tomorrow is going to be a little better today.
