We’ve turned intuition into a buzzword—flattened it into a slogan, a gut feeling, or a vague whisper we don’t always know how to hear. But what if intuition is so much more? What if it's one of the most powerful tools we have—and we’ve just forgotten how to use it? In this episode, I’m joined by Hrund Gunnsteinsdóttir , Icelandic thought leader, filmmaker, and author of InnSæi: Icelandic Wisdom for Turbulent Times . Hrund has spent over 20 years studying and teaching the science and art of intuition through her TED Talk, Netflix documentary ( InnSæi: The Power of Intuition ), and global work on leadership, innovation, and inner knowing. Together, we explore what intuition really is (hint: not woo-woo), how to cultivate it in a culture obsessed with logic and overthinking, and why your ability to listen to yourself might be the most essential skill you can develop. In This Episode, We Cover: ✅ Why we’ve misunderstood intuition—and how to reclaim it ✅ Practical ways to strengthen your intuitive muscle ✅ What Icelandic wisdom teaches us about inner knowing ✅ How to use intuition during uncertainty and decision-making ✅ Why trusting yourself is an act of rebellion (and power) Intuition isn’t magic—it’s a deep, internal guidance system that already exists inside you. The question is: are you listening? ×With a stack of pictures chronicling her volleyball life from middle school to her senior year at UVA, we ask setter Jennifer Wineholt to have a conversation with her younger self about the triumphs and disappointments she'll face along the way. She's one of five graduating seniors who have shaped the program and who will bid farewell to their beloved Memorial Gymnasium in a final home match on Friday.…
A second key player is lost for the season and the Wahoos must again adjust to adversity. First-year Jayna Francis is leaned on to perform, and third-year Tine Jarman is leaning on her faith.
We sit down with our favorite Serbian opposite, Jelena Novakovic, to talk about her final year as a Wahoo, how she's grown as a player, and why in the heck she's sometimes setting in matches. Plus, Mattie Matthews returns to the studio to talk about how first years are making a big impact on a squad full of veteran Hoos.…

Kristen Leland, a 5-4 defensive specialist, endured a long road filled with doubters and difficulties on her path to a Division I volleyball program. In this episode she talks about the obstacles she faced -- including learning disabilities -- to realize her dreams.
We introduce you to the final three first-years joining the Wahoo squad this year as they prepare to suit up for the Blue v. Orange scrimmage. It's the fans' first chance to see the 2019 team in action and to see how the five freshmen might fit into this experienced roster.
Five first-years take the court in pre-season and, already, there is controversy. There's a Maddie, a Mattie, a Coach Joe, another Coach Joe and a player who sometimes goes by Jo. The need for nicknames has taken on increased urgency.
The offseason brings a host of changes to the Wahoo volleyball squad in terms of players, positions and staff. We catch you up on all the moves as the Cavaliers start their first full week of practice!
More tears, more joy, more touching stories. Three more Wahoos get letters from home, words from special people in their lives expressing love and support in the season's final stretch.
Heading into the season's home stretch, Dana and Mike sit down to discuss the season so far, the individual players, and ask important questions like, "If you had to be a foster parent for one of the players, who would you pick and why?"
Some letters of support stir emotions for three Wahoos. The letters were penned by special and influential people in these players' lives. And for one Hoo, a letter hits particularly hard when it reveals a level of admiration and respect she didn't fully understand.

The Wahoos are going back to an offensive lineup -- uncommon in this conference -- that uses both setters and an extra hitter. The switch is meant to tally more kills and blocks, which the Hoos will need as they face tough ACC opponents at home.
The Hoos are preparing to start the ACC season with a bang, going up against conference co-champion and nationally ranked Pitt. While the coaches are finalizing lineups after non-conference play, a couple of Hoo hitters are finding themselves more on defense than offense. And they say that's perfectly fine if it's what the team needs. Guests this week: Milla Ciprian, Tine Jarman, Alex Spencer and birthday girl Kelsey Miller.…
The Wahoos are working to shake off two years of losing seasons as they start 2018 play. But even after a trio of tough matches on the road that left them winless in the opening tournament, the squad is encouraged by how far they've come.
After a grueling pre-season, the re-energized and reinvigorated Wahoo squad shows spark and promise in an exhibition match against James Madison University. But they face an early test in Iowa for a three-match tournament to open the fall season.
The Hoos are back in Mem Gym with an exhibition match against James Madison University. It's the culmination of months of grueling conditioning, think sessions on winning ways, and a deep committment to each other.
