We get a glimpse into the supernatural and see a malevolent fallen angel deceiving the nations. Ezekiel 28 Pastor Gene Pensiero Series: Cry Me A River (Ezekiel) Find the rest of this series at https://calvaryhanford.com/crymeariver Find audio, video, and text of hundreds of other studies at https://calvaryhanford.com/ Subscribe to our YouTube channel at https://youtube.com/calvaryhanford Find us on SubStack at https://calvaryhanford.substack.com — Dive deep into the supernatural realm with our latest Bible study video, Ezekiel 28:1-26 – SupernaturalisticFallenAngelsAreAtrocious. In this in-depth exploration of Ezekiel chapter 28, we uncover the unseen forces at play influencing the nations, much like the dark parallel dimension of the Upside Down in Stranger Things. If you’re seeking a profound understanding of Bible prophecy, the role of fallen angels, and the intricacies of Old Testament scripture, this video is for you. This chapter of Ezekiel unfolds in four key segments. First, we examine the rebuke of the Prince of Tyre, historically Ethbaal III, for his audacious claim of divinity. Discover how his earthly pride mirrors a deeper spiritual arrogance. Secondly, we confront the chilling reality of a supernatural menace, identified as the King of Tyre, operating within the unseen realm. This section delves into the nature and influence of demonic forces as revealed in scripture. Next, we turn our attention to the judgment pronounced upon Sidon, Tyre’s sister city, highlighting God’s sovereignty over all nations. Finally, we conclude with the glorious future promise of Israel’s restoration, a prophecy that ultimately points towards the certainty of the Millennial Kingdom under the reign of Jesus Christ. Drawing parallels to Loki’s boast in the face of the Hulk, we consider the Prince of Tyre’s “puny god” delusion. We analyze verses 1-10, exploring Ethbaal’s hubris in claiming divine status amidst his maritime power, perhaps even likening himself to Poseidon or Triton. We contrast his arrogance with the wisdom and faithfulness of Daniel, a captive who served God even in a hostile environment. Just as Paul turned his Roman imprisonment into a powerful ministry, Daniel’s captivity was within the Lord’s hands. The temptation of becoming “like God,” the very lie from the Garden of Eden, continues to plague humanity. While we may not overtly seek worship, unbelievers often live as the ultimate authority in their own lives. Even believers can fall into this trap when worldly desires take precedence over Jesus. We explore the significance of “the mountain of God” and its potential connection to Mount Hermon, the site where rebellious angels, according to Enoch, descended and interacted with humanity, leading to the Nephilim. This location, near Caesarea-Philippi, was even referred to by some Hebrews as “The Gates of Hell,” adding profound context to Jesus’ declaration that these gates would not prevail against His church. The fall of this glorious cherub, driven by pride in his beauty, led to his banishment from God’s presence. We connect this account with Isaiah 14, noting how both prophets speak of this event, one as future and the other as past, highlighting God’s eternal perspective. Expanding on Angelology, we touch upon Deuteronomy 32:8-9 (as interpreted by the Dead Sea Scrolls and Septuagint), which speaks of God disinheriting the nations at Babel and assigning them to “Sons of God,” angelic beings. We mention the Prince of Persia and the Prince of Greece from the book of Daniel, suggesting a spiritual battleground behind earthly powers, with Michael as the protector of Israel. Finally, we examine the prophecy against Sidon (Ezekiel 28:20-24), a nation marked by its contempt for Israel, and the beautiful promise of Israel’s restoration and security in the Millennial Kingdom (Ezekiel 28:25-26), a tangible, thousand-year reign of Christ following the Great Tribulation. Just as the Mind Flayer battles for minds in the Upside Down, the true battle in our world is for our minds. We conclude by referencing 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, urging believers to stand firm in the armor of God against the lies of the enemy, the same lie of self-deification that began in Eden. Stand firm in the truth!…
We don’t hear about it very often, but there are geographical changes happening right now in Israel that are in accordance with unfulfilled prophecies. Pastor Gene Pensiero Find audio, video, and text of hundreds of other prophecy updates at: https://calvaryhanford.com/prophecy Read along with us at https://calvaryhanford.substack.com Follow us on YouTube at https://youtube.com/calvaryhanford — Welcome to Prophecy Updates #822, where we delve into fascinating current trends through the lens of Bible prophecy. In this installment, “River Walk,” we explore remarkable geographical changes unfolding in Israel that align with unfulfilled prophetic scriptures. If you’re seeking a deeper understanding of Bible prophecy, end times, and how today’s world reflects biblical predictions, you’ve come to the right place. Join us as we examine a significant prophecy from the book of Ezekiel, chapter 47, verses 6 through 11. This passage speaks of a river flowing eastward, healing the waters of the Dead Sea and bringing life where there was once barrenness. We unpack the details of this prophecy and connect it to tangible events happening in Israel right now. In this video, we highlight compelling evidence of this prophecy’s near fulfillment. Discover how water is currently flowing into the Dead Sea, undergoing a natural purification process. Learn about the formation of thousands of natural craters, known as bolaines, which are capturing salt deposits. Witness the surprising presence of small fish in areas where the healing waters are reaching. It’s truly amazing to see these developments occurring naturally and exclusively on the Israeli side of the Dead Sea, pointing towards the prophetic future described by Ezekiel. We emphasize the concept of near and far fulfillments in Bible prophecy, suggesting that these current events are significant indicators of what is yet to come. This is not man-made; it is a natural unfolding that resonates powerfully with biblical predictions. Beyond this incredible development in Israel, we also touch upon a peculiar news item from the UK regarding planned open-air experiments in solar geo-engineering. While we don’t believe this to be prophetic, it serves as a thought-provoking example of global efforts to address climate change, a topic often discussed in the context of end times discussions. For our viewers interested in Christian theology and Bible study, we also reaffirm the comforting promise given by Jesus to His Church in Revelation 3:10: protection from the coming hour of trial. We discuss the imminence of the resurrection and rapture of the church, underscoring that this pivotal event could occur at any moment, with no preceding prophecies needing fulfillment. This video is a must-watch for anyone engaged in Bible study, seeking to understand Christian perspectives on current events, and specifically those interested in Bible prophecy and the end times. This video explores the ancient city of Tyre, a hub of commerce and wealth, and its prophetic destruction as a cautionary tale against the love of money. Join us for an in-depth Bible study unpacking the perils of choosing mammon over God and the freedom found in discipleship through Jesus Christ. In Ezekiel 26-27, God pronounces judgment on Tyre, a Phoenician city known for its economic dominance and moral corruption. We examine how Tyre’s obsession with wealth—gold, silver, precious stones, and slaves—led to its downfall, as prophesied by Ezekiel and fulfilled through Nebuchadnezzar’s siege and Alexander the Great’s conquest. Learn how Tyre’s idolatry of mammon, exemplified by figures like Jezebel and the trafficking of Jews, mirrors modern materialism and spiritual dangers. This sermon draws parallels to Jesus’ teaching, “You cannot serve God and mammon,” and highlights the biblical prophecy fulfilled with stunning accuracy, as noted by Peter Stoner’s probability analysis. This Bible study is ideal for Christians, Bible prophecy enthusiasts, and those seeking expository sermons on Christianity, Jesus, and Old Testament teachings. We delve into Ezekiel’s vivid imagery of Tyre as a shipwrecked vessel, explore the spiritual implications of mammon as a demonic force, and offer practical applications for living a life devoted to God. In this expository sermon, “Ezekiel 25:1-17 – Don’t Fight The Hand That Saves You,” we unpack God’s outstretched hand—a powerful gesture of judgment, mercy, and discipline. This Calvary Chapel teaching dives into Ezekiel 25, where God declares His hand against Ammon, Edom, Moab, Seir, and the Philistines for their hostility toward Israel. These nations faced destruction for their spite, a sobering reminder of God’s justice against sin and those who oppose His chosen people. Ezekiel 25 reveals two key truths: God stretches His arm out to destroy your enemies and to discipline His children. From Ammon’s gloating over Israel’s fall to Edom’s vengeance and the Philistines’ ancient hatred, God’s judgment was final—none of these nations survive today. Yet, this passage also reflects His mercy. The same outstretched hand that delivers justice offers salvation, as seen in Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross. This sermon connects Old Testament prophecy to Christian living, showing how God’s discipline refines believers while His justice protects them. For Bible study enthusiasts, this video explores the historical context of Ezekiel’s prophecies, including the Ammonites, Moabites, and Edomites, and their relevance to God’s covenant with Israel. We also examine the spiritual application: just as God judged these nations, He calls us to repentance and restoration, not retribution. Whether you’re seeking Christian devotionals or deep Scripture analysis, this teaching offers practical insights for living out your faith today. Join us as we study Ezekiel 25:1-17 verse by verse, reflecting on God’s dual role as Judge and Father. Perfect for those interested in expository preaching, Bible prophecy, and growing in Christian faith. Subscribe for weekly Bible study videos from a Calvary Chapel perspective, and share this sermon to encourage others in their walk with Christ. When discussing the Dead Sea Scrolls, the term “fragments” comes-up often. It refers to the small, often broken, pieces of parchment or papyrus that make up much of the collection. Keep that in mind. In this episode, we explore current world trends aligning with biblical predictions about the end times. Topics include biometrics, artificial intelligence, cashless commerce, human DNA manipulation, global government, instantaneous global communication, and the push to rebuild the Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. These signs, foretold in Scripture, are accelerating like never before, offering insight into God’s prophetic timeline. We dive into Daniel 12:4, where the prophet is told to “seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” This verse could point to a growing understanding of Bible prophecy, especially Israel’s dispensational role in the last days. Alternatively, it may predict the explosion of technology, science, and global travel in the modern era—clear end times indicators. Yet, a third interpretation ties this prophecy to the Dead Sea Scrolls, ancient manuscripts discovered between 1947 and 2021 near Qumran. These fragments, including Zechariah and Nahum translations, reveal biblical truths preserved for the end times. The Dead Sea Scrolls connect to Elijah’s prophetic school and the Tanna Eliyihu, referenced in 3rd-century commentaries. Elijah’s words, “Truth will be found in fragments,” may foreshadow these discoveries, unveiling hidden insights from Daniel and John’s sealed writings for the last days. For deeper study, check out Dr. Ken Johnson at biblefacts.org. This Bible study unpacks how these trends and discoveries signal the nearness of the rapture, as promised in Revelation 3:10. Jesus assures His Church protection from the coming global trial. The resurrection and rapture are imminent—nothing stands in its way. Are you ready? Get ready, stay ready, and keep looking up, because Jesus is coming soon! Join us for this sermon and prophecy update as we connect Scripture to today’s headlines. For Christians, Bible study enthusiasts, and those intrigued by Bible prophecy, this teaching reveals how God’s commands—often a ‘voluntold’ calling—equip and example His people, even through trials like the death of Ezekiel’s wife and the destruction of the Temple. In Ezekiel 24, we see God’s judgment unfold through a parable of a ruined pot, symbolizing Jerusalem’s fate, and the sudden loss of Ezekiel’s beloved wife as a sign to Israel. Perfect for Christians, Bible students, and those exploring spirituality, this Calvary Chapel-style teaching dives into God’s Word to reveal His intimate and incessant love amidst human unfaithfulness. In this video, we explore how God portrays Samaria and Jerusalem as harlots, unfaithful to Him despite His covenant. Oholah, meaning “her own tabernacle,” and Oholibah, “My tabernacle is in her,” highlight the northern and southern kingdoms’ idolatry after Solomon’s reign—Samaria’s false worship and Jerusalem’s defiled Temple. Ezekiel’s vivid language, paraphrased here for clarity, shows their pursuit of Assyrian and Babylonian lovers, symbolizing alliances with pagan nations and idols. God’s response—judgment through conquest—reflects His holy jealousy and deep sorrow, emotions echoing Hosea 11:8 and Hebrews 4:15, where Jesus sympathizes with us. This sermon organizes Ezekiel 23 into two points: God’s intimate love (verses 1-10), hurt by spiritual infidelity, and His incessant love (verses 11-49), persisting despite Judah’s worse rebellion. Keywords like idolatry, unfaithfulness, Assyrians, Babylonians, and Egypt connect to New Testament warnings (1 John 5:21, 1 Corinthians 10:14, Colossians 3:5), urging believers to flee idolatry today. We see God’s heart broken by sin, yet His sovereignty unshaken, culminating in Babylon’s 70-year captivity and Israel’s future restoration. For those searching Bible prophecy, Christianity, or Old Testament studies, this video ties Ezekiel to broader themes—Israel’s 1948 rebirth, the Great Tribulation, and Christ’s return. This video dives deep into biblical futurism, where we interpret unfulfilled prophetic passages as literal, physical, apocalyptic, and global future events. Join us for an in-depth Bible study examining how today’s technological advancements—biometrics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), cashless commerce, human DNA manipulation, global government, instant global communication, exponential knowledge growth, and the push to rebuild the Temple on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount—match predictions in the Book of Revelation. In this sermon, we focus on 6G technology, the next generation of wireless innovation succeeding 5G. Expected by 2030, 6G promises faster speeds, lower latency, and efficient connectivity, enabling AI-driven networks, immersive augmented and virtual reality, Internet of Things (IoT) applications, smart cities, autonomous systems, and even brain-computer interfaces. These advancements aren’t just about better phones—they signal a tyrannical surveillance society foretold in Scripture. Revelation predicts a global government enforcing a cashless economy, accessible only through a personal biometric identifier on the forehead or hand. Once unimaginable, this system could launch today, perfectly describing the antichrist’s rule during the Great Tribulation. We explore insights from experts like David Bowen, who warns of 6G’s role in a 40-year march toward total surveillance, control, and loss of autonomy. Samsung claims 6G will transform entertainment, medicine, education, and manufacturing, integrating AI and automation into every aspect of life. This aligns with end-times prophecy, where every action, conversation, and movement could be tracked and controlled—hallmarks of the future tribulation government. For Christians, Bible students, and those curious about prophecy, this video connects today’s headlines to Revelation 3:10, where Jesus promises to keep believers from the hour of trial. The rapture and resurrection of the church are imminent—could happen any moment. Are you ready? This Calvary Chapel-style teaching urges you to get ready, stay ready, and keep looking up, because Jesus is coming soon. Prime Minister of Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel, recently called President Trump the greatest friend Israel has ever had in the White House. In his first term, President Trump did something amazing for Israel. He moved their embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. There is a great deal of speculation that Jews in Jerusalem will take advantage of the Trump presidency in order to get the Temple built. Those around Trump would like to see the Temple built. Speaking at an event in Jerusalem in 2018, now Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said there was “no reason why the miracle of re-establishing the Temple on the Temple Mount isn’t possible,” using the Israeli name for the raised plateau in occupied East Jerusalem where Al-Aqsa Mosque stands. He also told attendees that Israel should take advantage of Trump being in office to do what they needed to do in the region, because there were “true believers” in Washington who would back them. Right now it remains speculation. We are simply pointing-out that this is exactly what you would expect to read about in the news if you are familiar with the Bible and its prophecies. The LORD describes His discipline of Judah and Jerusalem as a fire that will consume everything in its path. Ezekiel was God’s 6th century prophet to the Judean Jews exiled in Babylon. A remarkable number of his prophecies were presented as silent theatrical dramas. When he did speak, Ezekiel frequently did so utilizing riddles, allegories, and metaphors. So much so that Ezekiel could say (in verse 49), “Ah, Lord GOD! They say of me, ‘Does he not speak parables?’ ” Ezekiel describes the third and final siege of Jerusalem by the Babylonians as if it were a catastrophic forest fire. This remarkable event foreshadowed Christ’s time in the tomb before His glorious resurrection. Hermeneutics is the study of how to interpret the Bible. What principles & methods do we follow? Why do we follow them? Our ‘hermeneutic’ emphasizes a literal, grammatical-historical approach to interpreting the Bible. Here is what we mean. Pastor Gene Pensiero Find audio, video, and text of hundreds of other prophecy updates at: https://calvaryhanford.com/prophecy Follow us on YouTube at https://youtube.com/calvaryhanford Join us for Prophecy Update #812, where we explore the foundational Biblical hermeneutic used at Calvary Hanford—a literal, grammatical-historical approach to interpreting Scripture. In this video, we discuss why it’s essential to read the Bible as we would any other literature, paying attention to the plain, normal meaning of words, while recognizing literary devices like metaphors and symbols within their proper context. This method leads us to two key conclusions: The Bible should be understood in its straightforward, literal sense. Ethnic Israel and the Church are distinct entities in God’s overarching plan for humanity. By interpreting the Bible this way, we embrace a “normal” reading that honors its genre, historical setting, and the intent of its authors. This perspective not only enriches our understanding of Bible prophecy but also strengthens our faith as we see God’s plan unfolding with clarity and purpose. Instead of bearing spiritual fruit in the LORD’s vineyard, the 6th century Jews chose to be wild vines in the forest. Ezekiel 15:1-8 Pastor Gene Pensiero Series: Cry Me A River (Ezekiel) Find the rest of this series at https://calvaryhanford.com/crymeariver Find audio, video, and text of hundreds of other studies at https://calvaryhanford.com/ Subscribe to our YouTube channel at https://youtube.com/calvaryhanford What does it mean to bear spiritual fruit in God’s vineyard? In this expository sermon on Ezekiel 15:1-8, we explore the sobering imagery of the wild vine. The 6th-century Jews, called to abide in the Lord, chose to become unfruitful wildwood, destined for the fire. This powerful passage points us to Jesus’ words in John 15:5-6: “He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered.” In this study, we’ll examine two key truths: Your Yield Depends Upon Your Yielding Your Burning Comes From Your Burdening This message challenges us to reflect on our spiritual walk: Are we bearing fruit through abiding in Christ, or are we weighed down by worldly burdens, heading for judgment? If you’re passionate about deep Bible study, understanding Old Testament prophecy, or uncovering connections to New Testament teachings, this sermon is for you. Perfect for those seeking Christian sermons, Calvary Chapel teachings, or insights into living a fruitful life in Christ.
