ENJOY THIS EPISODE: “Daddy! I want to be a Mortgage Broker when I grow up!” Yeah, I don’t think any child has ever said that to their parents and Jeff Gemmell was no different. Most will say they want to be a rock star, athlete, doctor, police or fireman. However, the one thing that Jeff did maintain from his childhood was the drive to protect. As a Mortgage Broker he protects his clients from being taken advantage of by the big banks. In this episode Jeff will be talking about re-financing and how to protect yourself from the fees of the big banks,

Jeff specializes in helping those of us who are self-employed, on commission, disabled, or on a pension. Essentially anyone who doesn’t fit in the small template that the big banks use and as a result either can’t get financed or get taken to the cleaners on fees. I remember this one client who started her own business a couple years ago and was now going through a separation and needed to get a new home. Unfortunately, like most small businesses, she tried to keep her declared revenue low to offset the amount of taxes owed. This is great for tax time but really hurts when you need to get financed. Of course, the big banks said no but Jeff was able to use other evidence of cash flow and was able to get her approved. In the end, we were able to get her a new home and she could start her new life in her new home with her two kids.

Jeff has been a successful Broker for the past 15 years and has worked with hundreds of clients, most of whom consider him a friend not just a service provider. Jeff treats his clients like he would family (well, the family you like anyway). I hope you enjoy this episode with Jeff Gemmell.
