In January 2004, Britney Spears married Jason Alexander on an early winter morning in Las Vegas. Not the actor from Seinfeld, but a friend she had grown up with in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana. By all accounts, substances were involved, but do the reasons for this wedding reach beyond a drunken mistake? I'd say so. Of course, we all remember that this marriage was annulled after 55 hours. Jason never saw Britney again, but he certainly tried to, most notably when he crashed her recent wedding to now-ex Sam Asghari. In this episode, I explore the reasons I think Britney married Jason and discuss Jason's motivations for his various actions over the years: some bizarre, and some that actually made perfect sense.
