👩💼 Hi, I'm Jodi Carlton! I am a seasoned professional with 20+ years of experience as a therapist and relationship coach specializing in neurodiverse relationships.
I AM NEURODIVERGENT: I discovered as an adult that I am ADHD and I was married to an autistic man for 19 years. I have also had other neurodiverse romantic relationships, and have an autistic daughter and ADHD son. Through the years I have realized that my entire extended family is neurodivergent. My relationships with neurodiverse family and friends have been my personal training ground for understanding and helping partners and couples in their own relationships.
NARCISSISTIC ABUSE: I am also a survivor of narcissistic abuse and have experienced the narc abuse cycle. I have battled and healed from the codependency that results from having an abusive childhood. Narcissism and autism are completely different, but can often have similar confusion characteristics. A relationship with an autistic partner often has potential for fulfillment with coaching and guidance whereas a relationship with a narcissist is a dead end of toxic abuse. My subspecialty is helping men and women who need help figuring out their own partners.
